Asphalt Contractor reviews across the US

Would highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking for great quality paved asphalt drive for a reasonable price! Salesperson was timely with his quote and follow through while the workers were friendly and respectful. Looking forward to having them seal it up for us next year!!

I have several clients and Friends who have used Superior Asphalt for repaving and Paving of New Lots for their businesses. I also have family members and friends who have used them for driveways and other asphalt projects. I've seen quite a bit of their work I've watched some of their work being performed by their employees done very professionally do a great job of preparing the surface and the finished project always looks amazing they take a lot of time and care to give you an excellent product at a fair price. Would recommend them to anybody looking to have any asphalt work done and don't forget about their landscaping products that are available in Dutton

Superior Asphalt, Inc. is locally owned with plants in the Lansing and Grand Rapids area. The owner Jeff Kresnak is a long time friend of mine so I can personally tell you that you will receive fast and friendly professional service and competitive pricing. Along with their many years of experience, attention to detail, customer service and satisfaction, it paves the way and makes them superior than all the others!

Tim came by to give us a quote on a small driveway project and instead of charging us more for proper asphalt that we didn't need, he let us know that if it was his decision he would go with concrete and gave us some contacts of people he recommends. I really appreciated his honesty and helpfulness!

I had some repair done in my driveway that was 12 years old at that time. The top of the drive was sinking in some parts so I had superior cut the length of the driveway (3 stalls) at the top and bottom and lay new asphalt. A few month later they started to separate and I asked if they could seal the separation with tar and they said they would but never did. I had Murray’s asphalt do it (great company BTW). This the same spot that was sunken in is sinking again and superiors warranty is only 1 year. Long story short poor quality work and poor quality customer service. Will never use them again, maybe they are more commercial type contractors.

Tim at Superior Asphalt is a man of his word. He took care of the work on time and also came back twice to make tire mark repairs. I highly recommend them.

Superior Asphalt did a fantastic job on our long country driveway with personal attention to detail. By far the best asphalt company in West Michigan. Would highly recommend Superior Asphalt to any of my friends. Thank you to Todd and the entire Superior family for a great job!!!

My family and I have been doing asphalt business with the owners of this company for our residential asphalt work and repair in Grand Rapids even before Superior Asphalt, Inc was actually founded! They were good then, but now a fantastic company has evolved! I trust their knowledge, experience, and integrity with no doubt that the job will get done on time and done right. A great company. Thank you Jeff for handling our tough driveway problems when we needed it done right for a change. Keith Callear

They repave and marked our parking lot up to code. They were pleasant to work with and communication before, during and after the re-pavement process was great. Over the years we have worked with Superior on several parking lot repairs and we are very please with their work.

First class all the way!!!

I contracted Superior Asphalt for a large commercial paving job. From start to finish the project was best in class. Dave, the project estimator, was professional and courteous. Bidding process was efficient and competitive. Once awarded, Dave was prompt to find a schedule that worked around our business needs. As the project day approached, Dave scheduled a final walk through to ensure all bases were covered.

Day of project went perfect. I was notified 1 hour prior to arrival of the crew. After arrival and initial set up, Superior went right to work. Milling was clean and efficient. Ashpalt rolling was near perfect. Once project was complete there was no clean up or loose ends.

Couldn’t be happier with the end result. Great work Dave and team.

I wish I had hired them to do my whole driveway last year. I had them out to fix a drainage problem left by A1 Asphalt (25 foot long puddle). The foreman explained what they would do, and what to expect when it rains. They repaved 75 feet of my driveway, even put down some stuff over the apron to help protect the cement from stains from the trucks! I am impressed by their work - I haven't seen any puddles on the area they fixed.

I have known Jeff owner of Superior Asphalt Inc. for over 20 years. He has done multiple driveways, and roads for my construction company over many years. There team has given me nothing but first class work. If ever a problem they repair it instantly, no questions asked. They are always on time within my tight schedule. I recommend this company over any in Michigan.

Year after year we have chosen Superior Asphalt for their multitude of services, honest bidding and superior customer service. I highly recommend Superior Asphalt if you are looking for a job well done. Even if they aren't the "cheapest" in town, their crews are efficient and get the job done right the first time around.

Superior is the best Asphalt Company around. Not only do they do the best job but they are truly compassionate and caring. Just a short story from me... one day my dad looked out the window and said what the heck is going on in my driveway there's trucks everywhere and it was Jeff Kresnak and his crew repaving my folks driveway free of charge!!! How much more kind could they be??? Not more kind at all... they are phenomenal to say the least!!!

I first became a customer of Superior Asphalt in 2012 when they resealed and repaired our driveways. It’s important to do this to extend the life of your asphalt. We had them return in 2016 to reseal them again. We just had their estimator, Dave, come out and give us a quote for resealing and repairing our driveways in 2021. We continue with this company because their crew shows up when they say they are going to show up and they make our driveways look new again. I have worked with their estimator, Dave, all of this time. It says something about a company when employees stay. I highly recommend Superior Asphalt for your next driveway resealing or repairs.

We had an asphalt driveway for 23 years that washed out the sides all the time, we got Superior over and with their magic they did a little milling and grading then repaved everything. Now when the water flows down our drive it doesn't even touch the sides. We love our new drive, the crews were great to work with, knowledgeable and kind. we would recommend them and use them again.

We had Superior surface our driveway. From the knowledgeable estimator to the finished product, I couldn’t be more pleased. Road signs were put up a day ahead to alert traffic as we live on a hill. The crew was very professional and the driveway was trimmed and cleaned up. Beautiful job! I highly recommended this company.

The team at Superior Asphalt did an amazing job with our driveway. After having a failing concrete drive for the last several years, their crews came in, removed the busted slabs, rebuilt the base, then did a great job paving and rolling the new driveway. Attention to detail was fantastic. They were careful around the landscaping, made sure there was no overlap at the edges of the garage and walkway. Did a great job cleaning up and minimizing impact. Would highly recommend

From start to finish Superior did an excellent job removing our old parking lot in Alger Heights. They had trucks scheduled one after another bringing in new asphalt. They professionally applied the asphalt showing almost no seams.

Superior’s parking lot yellow stripe department did an awesome job laying and painting our new yellow lines.

Dave, our contact always responded to questions and concerns during this project. Very professional and courteous. We have used Superior for years. Pricing was competitive. Recommend them highly.

As a director of facilities for a large school district, i used Superior the last 12+ years both for total replacements and repairs. The quotes were competive and the work was excellent. For quotes, they came out and checked every site. Plotted the repairs on my maps and detailed what repairs they felt were needed. From there i decided what to do. No pressure. The service guys would call and coordinate with my schedules and projects. Very professional and timely. I would highly recommend Superior Asphalt for repairs, tear outs, or new lots.

I work for a small Christian school in Grand Rapids and have been using Superior Asphalt for over 10 years. They have been great to work with and are always willing to work around our busy schedule at the school. With a tight budget the estimator is always super helpful and knowledgeable about what repairs would be the best use of my money. I can always count on a fair price as well. The quality of work is always top notch and I would recommend them to anyone for paving or repair needs.
