I just wanted an electrcian that I could trust and was reliable. I more than found what I was looking for. Hunter, the owner and operator of the company was on-time, responsive, a great communicator and incredibly friendly. I had him run a new circuit at my rental that was overloaded. He was willing to work with my tenants schedules and provided me with ample pictures so I could see the work that was done since I wasn’t onsite for the install. His work was clean and he was very reasonably priced. I couldn’t recommend them more!! In a sea of electrical companies to choose from in the Bay Area, Barsell Electrical is a diamond in the rough.

Hunter at Barsell Electrical Services arranged a time to meet, showed up on time, did the work we hired him to do, and resolved another unknown issue that was discovered. The whole time he communicated the status of his work, remained organized, and cleaned up when done. I could not have asked for anything more; VERY professional and pleasant to work with!

I saw Hunter doing work at a neighbor's home and asked if he could provide an estimate for work needed at my home. (Note my home has aluminum wiring). While looking at the work needed, Hunter noticed an issue on a two-way plug and temporarily corrected the problem. Subsequently, Hunter installed two external lights, corrected the earlier issue and installed an external GFCI plug.

Hunter's work was detailed and he was patient and professional.
I would highly recommend using Hunter for any electrical projects you may have.

We have had Hunter help with a few electrical projects now, and he has been very thorough and reliable. We have found it to be common when finding electricians or other specialists that they may do quality work, or they may be responsive and easy to work with, but you don’t always get both. You will get both with Hunter and I definitely recommend Barsell Electrical Services.

Mario replaced a paddle fan light that had fallen from the ceiling in my rental building. He did an excellent job. Checked the rest of the hanging fixtures to be sure they were safe. Explained it was the fixture, not the ceiling that caused the situation. My go to for all electrical work.

Peter and team did a full 200A electrical service upgrade, new main and sub-panel, two Tesla wall chargers, and fixed a couple outlets that weren’t working. Work was super fast, well done, and his team are extremely courteous. Peter is very communicative and honest about trade offs in how to complete a project such as what’s worth spending money on.

My biggest recommendation working with Peter is TRUST his years of experience, capability of his team, and just let him do his thing.

We had a strange outage, where parts of two circuits both failed within a few hours of each other. It wasn’t a straightforward issue.

When called, the team came quickly and worked efficiently. Unlike the bigger companies, they didn’t send someone to “assess” the situation. Rather, they came ready to work and not only found the issues quickly, they solved them on the spot.

Will definitely hire again when my next electrical need arises!
