I called this company today for my GFS lighting repair needs, and I’m so happy they sent their great electrician on the same day. I was pleased with his expertise and fair charges. He was certified, explained the process clearly, and cleaned up afterward. I will definitely call them again and recommend them without hesitation.

So, I then tried to contact this company for my receptacle not working properly and it was unexpected that they assigned me an electrician promptly. It was a real pro who fixed my unit perfectly. Mako responded fast to me with an quick call and they made sure i understood their terminology.
They were able to troubleshoot my kitchen receptacles in a short amount of time VERY KIND and PATIENT. The issue became to be that my Pushmatic Breaker was workin improperly. The worker Abraham replaced the 20A Pushmatic Breaker and fixed my moms Kitchen receptacles.

A plumber had damaged a circuit by plugging in a defective temporary hot water heater and this disabled several outlets that were very important to us. A different electrician, hired by the plumber had been unable to diagnose the problem and walked off the job because he considered it too complex.

I consulted Scott, the owner of Mako Electric. He offered very capable guidance for our problem over the phone on my initial contact. After establishing a plan of action, Scott sent Abraham, a very knowledgeable electrician, to diagnose and complete the repairs. Abraham diagnosed the issue as a burnt wire somewhere in the wall. Scott and Abraham recommended back wiring those outlets from another circuit as that was less invasive and less costly than finding and repairing the burnt wire. Abraham then returned to complete the work and this restored the function of all outlets.

A few days later, another problem surfaced which proved to be a damaged neutral wire in a microwave outlet that caused the microwave to become inoperative. Abraham also noticed that our main panel was very disorganized from the work that had been previously done over the years and suggested that it be disassembled and tidied up. He just completed the work and sent me photos of the result and I was very pleased with the result. The panel reorganization did not restore the microwave circuit (it was not expected to do so, be we hoped it might), so a neutral wire was still required in the microwave outlet, which he was able to pull from an outlet on the other side of the wall from the laundry area. He did not even have to drill a hole on either side to restore the neutral wire to the microwave outlet. This restored the proper operation of the microwave.

I would not hesitate to recommend Mako to anyone who needs a qualified, thoughtful, respectful and timely electrician for any electrical issue. Scott's long experience with complex issues and Abraham's competent management of the repairs at our home were greatly appreciated.

Very easy to work with and knowledgeable. Was able to give me a quote via photos and videos, which was convenient. The estimate came right in the middle of others, but the peace of mind was definitely worth the extra cost. Would definitely recommend and will call again if electrical work is ever needed.

I asked for them to look at my panel and wiring for a heater fan in the bathroom. They were very helpful. I had recently had a friend help me with the wiring in the switch so it was working but I was concerned, and again they were very helpful. The suggestion was to accept it should have been on a separate line but at this time it was too late really so okay, I will use the space heater I bring in the room instead of using the ceiling heater in this room.

The electrician is awesome. I've worked with quite a few contractors and electricians over the years, and his attention to detail and customer service is above par. He was able to conduct a virtual appointment with me immediately and spent a great deal of time listening to my concerns, and what I wanted for my project. I ultimately ended up going in a different direction for my project, but I won't hesitate to contact him again for my electrical needs.

The electrician did a difficult multi unit service panel job for me, and did many units in one day. Minimal tenant disruption, reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

The electrician replied to my fan installation job request within two hours of the job being posted on yelp with a quote, and was available to schedule the job within the next two days. His electrician arrived on time, with a mask and booties, was very professional, kind, knowledgeable and flexible to work with. He worked tirelessly to install ceiling fans and control switches. He kept me updated on his progress, made sure the work met my expectations, and made sure the work area was clear of debris when the job was completed. I would definitely recommend this company and will not hesitate to use them for any electrical needs we may encounter.

Outstanding. I definitely recommend this company. The owner and his crew were awesome. They did a great job digging a trench and running ground wire so I could have power again. Very nice people who know what they're doing. He even fixed my crooked breaker box. When the utility company never showed up to do their part, he was kind enough to follow up later that evening and responsive the next day when they did show. Thank you for all your hard work.

A electrician came by to install an EV charger. He was very helpful and talked me through the install options. Since it required a conduit to run the cable he did an amazing job of keeping it out of view and making sure it was not a major eyesore. It looks and works great.
