We had exceptional experience from Cali Bear Heating and Air-Conditioning. Ignacio troubleshooted our A/C problem and provided a solution for a refrigerant leak of our A/C unit that has been plaguing us for years. Finally we are now able to enjoy excellent cooling from a system that was problematic for the last 10 years. My only regret is not knowing this company sooner and availing of Ignacio’s expertise. Our A/C is now operating properly as it should and perhaps even saving us some money due to the energy-efficient operation. Truly exceptional.

Super happy and relieved I found Ignacio after having an emergency AC outage in the middle of summer, he’s the most helpful and honest technician I’ve ever used for HVAC. He spent a lot of time checking and explaining what was going on with my unit and troubleshooting different cost effective ways to resolve the problem. He took pictures and videos of all of his work since the repairs were on my roof and I couldn’t see. He sent me the pics of everything he was doing, spent several hours doing the job attentively, and went above and beyond to do it extra tests without charging me. I also really like that he’s a small business- it means less markup and cost for me and the ability to talk directly with him. Also he clearly prioritizes building relationships with clients since it’s his own company. Lastly I’m very glad he’s licensed, bonded, and insured as that’s a must for me. I’ll only use him in the future and def recommend!

I called Ignacio from Cali-Bear to inspect a gas leak in a wall heater, he took care of it in a timely manner. He was quick and efficient and went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. Ignacio from Cali-Bear fixed my furnace two years ago and I was very impressed with the cost and speedy repair back then. So when it was time to install a completely new HVAC system, I called him to give me a quote. He gave me options and explained the pros/cons for every system and set up. I chose his company because he is a true professional who takes pride in his work. The technician seemed unprepared and lacking in expertise. He spent more time on the phone seeking assistance than actually repairing the AC unit. After replacing a part, he claimed everything was fine, but the unit failed again the next day. When I called back to report the issue, the company refused to take responsibility unless I paid for additional repairs, leaving me with a terrible experience.
