Tony and team did a wonderful job fixing our chimney and installing a damper from the bottom. They’re clearly experts in their field and took extra care of keeping the space clean during and after their work. They also had installed a fireplace mantel for us which makes are living room look complete!

Andy was not only on time he was a few minutes ahead of schedule. He is extremely knowledgeable and personable. He listens carefully and fulfilled all of our concerns and requests. Tony and Harvey came to inspect and clean our two chimneys and two dryer vents. They were great- professional, hard working, attentive. They explained what they were doing and finding and recommended good practices for us to follow for using the chimneys and dryers. Their work was outstanding. As part of the inspection, Tony showed how our (metal) chimney pipes had corroded and how and why they needed replacement. they put in new pipes and caps, and we could not be happier with our experience with United Chimney. We will continue happily as their customer in the future!

We're relatively new homeowners of house with what we guess is an almost 20 yr hold chimney (meaning original parts are no longer readily available). Rusted caps did not hold up during this winter's wind/rain storms and fell to the ground. Found United Chimney Services following a recommendation after calling around. Andy was friendly, professional, and on-time with both initial estimate and repair. Reassuring that he understood our chimney (triple something), found parts within days, and returned quickly to complete the job. Even replaced a rusted pipe we couldn't see. We'll absolutely call again next time we need help, and highly recommend to everyone.

Excellent, professional, on time, extremely knowledgeable, and such nice people. You could not ask for a better company to fix all the problems you may have with your chimney. They replaced, primed/painted all the water damaged siding on our chimney, replaced and repitched the decking and installed a new storm collar. They also cleaned out all the old sand,lava, and fire logs in the firebox, fixed the firepan so it is now properly placed, and then installed new fire logs, sand and lava. Everything looks great and United Chimney did a fabulous job. Highly recommend them.

When we purchased our home, we were aware from the home inspection that there was some damage to the chimney that needed to be repaired. After all the rain we had this year, shortly after we moved in, water started coming through into the fireplace! I contacted United Chimney and they came out the next day to give us a new estimate, after reviewing the estimate provided by the home inspector. The evaluation Tony and his team provided was very honest and transparent, and they understood my request to do the work that was needed to ensure the chimney was safe (we had no intention of actually burning fires in it). Tony pointed out other issues that needed to be repaired that weren't even on the home inspection report. They completed the work in less than two days after I contacted them, using drop cloths on our floors, and even touched up the paint outside on the chimney and in our firebox! Their work is very high quality at a fair price. I would definitely recommend their services!

I had a small job of just sealing off the chimney because I don't use my fireplace and replacing the ash door that came off during the last storm. These are wonderful people to deal with - Tony gave me suggestions of what I could do - they swept out the chimney, replaced the ash door & I went with Tony's suggestion of painting the interior of the fireplace black. I am so glad I did and it looks wonderful! They are very clean and I didn't see a speck of dirt in my home. Just wonderful - can't say enough good things about them!

This is the absolute best company you could possibly hire. They built the most incredible double sided fire place for me and were honest, timely and exceptional from beginning to end.

When Andy came to give me an estimate, he was thorough and explained in detail what needed to be done to repair my fireplace and chimney. The estimate was super reasonable

When it came time to do the work, Tony repaired additional parts of the chimney, but honored the original estimate. The workers left my home perfectly clean which I appreciate.

While the company’s name only mentions services related to “chimney”, they also offer dryer vent cleaning services. I called United Chimney Services because my vent had somehow separated from my dryer and lint began to fly about my laundry room.

Andy came out and spent two hours cleaning out my vent duct, not only extracting all the lint by hand but also by brushing the duct walls clean. Previous companies that came out to clean the duct merely pulled out by hand, leaving the walls covered by lint.

Andy did a very thorough, excellent job. He’s professional, knowledgeable, and very nice. He told me that a lint-packed dryer vent is one of the most frequent reasons for home fires, so it’s really important to ensure it’s cleaned at least every year, even more frequently if you dry lots of loads. I’ll be using United Chimney Services in the years to come.

One of the fireplaces in my home needed a new damper fabricated and installed as the old one was cut out some years back, the top of the chimney (crown) needed to be replaced as it had many cracks and was in really bad shape, the entire chimney needed tuckpointing and waterproofing. If that wasn't enough, I wanted wind directional transitions (metal pipes with caps that turn like a windvane) added as well. United Chimney came in and was able to do it all, and in only two days!

I had the pleasure of having most of the Sanchez family working on my project. Andy (one of the sons) came to bid on my job and gave me an education on chimneys. I appreciated this because I believe an educated consumer is the best customer. Which is ultimately why they got the job. Tony (the father, who is the hardest working "retired" guy I've ever seen), ran the hole job and was the consummate professional. Soft spoken and direct, Tony was very clear as to each step in the process and kept me informed. If there was a choice to be made Tony informed me of the pros and cons of each of my options, never steering me one way or the other.

Their work is impeccable. They are real craftsmen at what they do, demonstrating a level of consciousness to the quality of their work and the care with which they take not to damage anything around your home in the process, are in my opinion, the hallmarks of true Professionals.

Bar none, these guys are the best! They are up front, honest, respectful and have that "old school" work ethic that is rear these days. Before I knew it, they were gone without a trace. They cleaned up so well after themselves, the only reason you would know United Chimney was ever here is by the fully functioning, beautifully restored and cleaned chimney that they left behind!

I recently bought a home with a 99 year old chimney. I originally had an inspection by a “chimney sweep” who told me things would be fine after some minor repair work he did. A couple months later my roofer and structural engineer noticed some “issues” with the chimney. I was referred to Tony from United Chimney by a structural contractor.
Ultimately, my chimney was in bad shape. The mortar was totally degraded and there was never a flue liner installed. Tony was very thorough and transparent when giving me options. I climbed a ladder and he took me through every detail. After seeing the problems, the decision was easy, we opted to remove the entire chimney: stack and breast down to the footer.
Tony and his crew did a masterful job. They sheared the chimney to protect the interior trim and mantle. The remaining brickwork was repointed, reinforced with steel mesh and parged.
I have a two year old child and safety is my primary concern. Tony’s work put me at great peace of mind. My general contractor was also impressed with the quality of work.
These guys are a multi-generational family of masons. Tony is a craftsman from another earlier era. No B.S. and a straight shooter. He over delivered and exceeded my expectations. The work was done immediately and did not interfere with my other projects. He was respectful of my neighbors and cleaned up well.
