Imagine watching your pool level drop day after day with no sign of water anywhere in the yard. I was terrified. I had visions of deep trenches all through the yard and cement sawed to find the leak. I chose Raytek Pool Leak Detection and repair. He came right out and with his high tech equipment found the area where it was coming from. He shut that section of the pumping water off and sure enough a few days later water was remaining level. As you can imagine he is very busy. Once we were on the schedule they went to work, located the leak, replaced pipe and removed roots around the pipes reliving pressure on the pipes. Got everything working again and followed up a week later to make sure everything was working. Great guy, kept us informed and had follow up. Highly recomend!

Charged $300 for 20 minutes of work. It turns out that I do not have a leak in my pool which is a good thing. It turns out that it my water loss is evaporation. Darren is honest and did not say that I had a leak when I did not have a leak. I just could not in good conscience charge somebody $300 for 20 minutes of work. I would be okay with this if he spent a couple of hours looking at different things. But I had the bucket test and water meter test done already. He simply listened to my skimmer and pool for a leak. I do not feel that charging $300 for 20 minutes of work is right. But that my opinion, I guess.
Any ways before you call, turn off your pool auto refill. Fill a bucket and mark the inside water level. Set it in on the first step of your pool and mark the outside water line. If they both lines are even after a day, then it is evaporation. Check your water meter to see if the dial spinning. If auto fill is off and no leaking toilets, the dial should not be moving. I had covered my pool with a pool cover and thought the cover would stop the evaporation. It obviously did not.
