Yesterday our neighbors contracted this company to trim and clean their palm trees. In the process, their employees continuously and carelessly dropped trimmed palm fronds on our flowerbeds rather than taking a few more seconds to drop them into their adjacent waiting truck. This broke and trampled many of our plants. When contacted regarding the damage, the owner came out to inspect and agreed there was damage to the plants but was unwilling to compensate for any of it. Instead he then instructed his workers to "protect" the plants further by putting a ladder over the plants that were in danger, while in the process further crushing these plants. Their "cleanup" still left all kinds of palm shrapnel in our beds and on our lawn, which should never have been there to begin with.

Be aware that this company is only interested in doing jobs in the fastest manner possible and that your landscaping and your neighbors landscaping are in the line of fire. This company will also not take any responsibility for their carelessness other than a hollow apology.

Despite severe weather and a closed highway from Bakersfield to Kernville, their team found an alternate route for trucks and equipment to get to the job on time. Their timely removal of several large trees made it possible for the roofing contractor and HVAC contractor to reroof our building.

These guys lounged in my yard playing on their phones for 45 minutes and when they finally decided to work they left a massive mess. They stepped on two plants in the process. Will never use these guys again.

We recently used Venables due wind storm damage to trees. Responsive, professional and quality service, in addition to reasonable prices. Highly recommended for all tree service needs.

Took them a few days to call back and the ballpark estimate they provided was pretty high. Didn't use them. I've seen their work at other homes and they seem to do a decent job. Although they left one yard pretty messy after trimming the trees there.

My experience with this company was barely acceptable, first they didn't come the day I had an appointment and I had to call them to find this out, then they arrive on my second scheduled appt., trimmed 3 trees 2 of which were quite large and left all the branches on the plants in my yard below for their clean-up guys to come and clear supposedly within the hour, they came 4 hours later. I had expressed my concern about the delay as I didn't want my bushes to be damaged, I was told not to worry that they, the bushes, would be fine....NOT!! There were several flattened bushes and the tree branches mutilated my rose tree! And one last thing, their clean-up was a joke, branches left in my plants, on the ground and in my planter. There was no sweeping or blowing either.....I called to complain but Shawn was never able to get back to me! Needless to say, I won't be back next year!!!!!

We recently posted about needing help with an overgrown bush in our backyard and received several quotes, some as high as $500 just for that shrub! Then Jeremiah reached out with a very fair quote. Woke up this morning to half of my tree being took out during a recent rain /wind storm. I heard someone in my neighborhood having some tree work done so I researched the company who was there and gave Venables Tree Services a call,
They came quickly and gave a fair quote to remove the broken limbs and get the yard cleaned up . I'm super happy with their services, friendliness and prices . I would highly recommend them and will be using them again

A few months ago they were trimming all the trees in Rio bravo, when they got to the ones behind our house one of the trees they were cutting fell into our yard and broke some of our lights and had fallen on top of our boysenberry bush resulting in it dying. To get the tree out the workers were jumping in and out of our yard. They had moved some of our planters and pots into the actual golf course, which they left after getting the tree out. There was a huge mess left for us to clean up of twigs branches and leaves all over our yard. There was no apology or “our mistake” I had reached out to the owners of Rio bravo and they said they would reach out to them but of course nothing ever came about. The tree they cut that fell into our yard is dead also. I’m shocked by how unprofessional the whole situation was. I definitely would look elsewhere if you don’t want damage to your property.
