My house was built in 1956 or so and had no insulation in the main house walls or in the converted garage. So even though I had the attic in the main house insulated I felt no cooler in hot weather or warmer in winter and I was pretty cold in the winter time even at 68 thermostat settings and had to wear 3 layers on top of me in winter in the house. Luis came to give me a quote for the exterior walls only and afterward I decided to have him look at the attic anyway cause it had been quite some time since the last attic insulation. Due to a portion of the ceiling collapsing in the kitchen and a big crack in the garage before a re roofing a year ago I wondered if I needed more insulation added in the attic. So I had him do the attic as well. The men came so much quicker than I expected. Started the following week and finished up in 4 days because I had to have some cracks in the garage walls indoors repaired that appeared due to the drywall not being screwed in tightly from a previous construction job that had been done several years back. They did a very good job of repairing that drywall. They then patched the insulation holes which are two holes every so often across each wall. Brown stucco plaster turned gray after several hours. I will get it repainted some other time. Luis was very proficient in English and explained every step well to me. His dad Maurilio and Juan worked on my house the first 3 days and Juan and Fabian finished up on the 4th day. Dad Maurilio has lots of experience. By evening after the attic was all stuffed up and the exterior walls all patched up I was amazed at how much cooler the house was and the garage was no longer blazing hot. I could feel the AC breeze much more easily in the main house and the garage. And slept better although I normally keep the house at 78 per PGE guidelines.

I live by Bakersfield College, most of the houses in that area were built in the 50's which means no wall insulation. I've had my house for over 5 years now and finally pulled the trigger on the blown in wall insulation. There isn't a day I regret doing it especially during the summer heat. For the last couple of years my walls would be warm to the touch due to the heat, but now the walls stay cold, my AC isn't running all the time so I'm saving money on that as well. The workers did a great job. I trusted them to get the job done and on time and I wasn't even home. They also did a great job on the patching! They had the best price out of the other company's I got quotes for! 10/10 I do recommend. I wanted to also thank them for a great job from the sales person to the installation techs

We had them complete an insulation project last month and they completed it within 2 business days, which was a day faster than they had quoted. The job started off a little rocky at first where they came about an hour after they said they would arrive but once they got there they worked efficiently and carefully to blow in insulation throughout the entire house and then patched the stucco so that it would be easier to paint over. It was nice they even patched part of the stucco that was broken/missing. They also quoted a fair price and even though they are located about an hour south of Fresno, they completed the job under the time they quoted and also cleaned everything up, including putting back a curtain rod that was knocked over during the project. Some staff don't speak English, but Luis, the project leader communicated well and did things as promised. I would recommend this company to others for blown-in insulation.

We had our 24 year old insulation (R-30) removed and replaced with R-38 with sanitizing done because of a rat infestation. The crew worked quickly and efficiently. The removal and cleaning took 2 days and the installation took one day. They took pictures of their work and repaired holes in the ducting. They also sealed some access areas the rats were using. They even removed a live rat they found in the attic. These guys were great.

Luis made recommendations to add insulation above the garage (which there was none prior) because the garage attic was open to the house attic.
Our house felt immediately warmer (January) and more comfortable. We are completely happy with their work and can recommend them.

Icon Insulation added blown in insulation to the attic of an older house we bought. Other companies gave us a higher bid because the attic was tight, but these guys said it was not a problem. They did a really great job, very efficient, and clean. Its a two story house, and our bills have been great. We highly recommend Icon Insulation of Bakersfield.

Apparently when our home was built, the contractor failed to put in insulation in one whole corner of the house, in the attic, we have lived there 26 years and couldn't figure out why the house is so cold in the winter and hot in the summer, we had someone come in to work on the air vents recently and he took pictures of the lack of insulation, very disappointing. We called Luis at Icon Insulation and he was very friendly, informative and very customer oriented also. We made the appointment and within a few days he and his crew were out, they confirmed the lack of insulation in the attic and they ended up blowing in insulation not only in that area but other areas in the attic that were lacking. He was very attentive to his crew as well as to our needs. We have noticed a tremendous difference in the warmth of the house since then. Luis even took the time to call us and check to see how everything was going, the next day. That's what I call excellent customer service. Trying to find solutions to my high utility bills and to why my house (built in the late 1950's) is so cold in the winter and hot in the summer. I phoned Icon Insulation to set up an appointment to have someone come talk to me about insulation. My call was returned immediately by Luis Torres who set up a time to come by my house the next day.
After inspecting my attic and walls, Luis let me know that I had no insulation in my walls and very little, if any, insulation in my attic. He gave me an estimate for blowing insulation into my attic only and then gave me an estimate for blowing in insulation into the walls as well.
I decided to have Luis do the complete job. We made arrangements for Icon Insulation to start the three to four day project on a Monday at 7:30am...a nice early start. Except for having to cancel one day because of rain, the project ran right on schedule bright and early each day right on time!
Job foreman, Juan, worked quietly and diligently...he was there to get the job done. At the end of each day's work, both the inside and outside of my house were cleaned up. Juan even moved my furniture back where it belonged.
Luis was always there to make sure the job was done correctly.
The cost of the project was exactly what had been estimated. No hidden charges or repair work to be done.

I needed insulation in my attic before the weather got hotter. I had all the insultion removed due to a rat infestation. Luis was able to send out his guys in 24 hours, they did fast and efficient work and cleaned up after themselves and were done in a few hours, at the best price.

Had Luis come out to insulate my interior walls of my home. Luis and his crew took great pride in a clean job site and professionalism.
