Landscaping reviews in Bakersfield, California

Just watched these guys leaf blow all the dead leaves, dirt, nonsense from my neighbors house straight into mine. And I’ve seen it multiple times. This is not how you do a good job cleaning up someone’s yard - blowing into my yard to take care of is terrible. I went and talked the to guy and all he had to say was “I’m sorry” and then watched him continue to blow everything on other yards and in the street gutters. Would not recommend and I hope my neighbors stop using them.

I am completely pleased with the design and work done by Jose and his team at Js’ Garden Works. And I love the finished product - a gorgeous yard with special lighting that lets me enjoy the garden’s beauty any time of day/night. Jose was a pleasure to work with and listened carefully to my ideas and incorporated them into the design. Fabulous company!

If I could give this company a less of a star I would. He talks a nice game but he does not do quality work like he said he does. I paid 7800. For a staircase That was just the steps and the sideboards not the whole staircase. I gave him $4000 deposit to buy wood for the staircase. Nice quality wood that was treated. But instead I got cheap cracking chipping Steps. I waited 2 months to get good wood and he told me that's all he could get. Even the bolts are not put in straight . He told me he only uses high quality wood. So disappointed, Staircase just over year old but it looks older than that. It's chipping cracking splitting turning black. I live in the woods and I need ed treated wood I didn't get that. Obviously he can put an artificial grass good but I wouldn't trust him with any other kind of work. I hope I can add pictures so you can see I'm telling you the truth. So beware.

After I saw how they transformed my mom's yard, I knew I needed to use them for our new construction home.
Js' did our backyard which included irrigation, two trees, lots of plants, sod, rocks, and lighting.
All I can say is the result exceeded my expectations!
The trees Jose suggested are beautiful and exactly what I had envisioned, and I LOVE the lighting. It's so picturesque and I couldn't be happier.
Also, the crew is just so friendly and happy and we really enjoyed having them around.

He and his team were reasonable and very careful with my existing flowers. They put lights in and some roses. He also put in sprinklers and a stake for my tree! I highly recommend them and I don’t normally review anyone! Great quality while still being reasonable!

We had our tired looking backyard landscaped by Icos Landscaping, who were a pleasure to work with! They were prompt, professional and really listened to what we wanted. Ygnacio, the owner, was always either on site or a text or phone call away and put up with our numerous changes and requests with patience and a smile. His crew works very hard and cleaned up each day so that our patio and walkways were usable. They put in a beautiful retaining wall, brick like pavers, updated the sprinklers, laid sod, removed plants and planted over 65 plants, drip lines, two garden boxes and ground cover! They left us with a beautiful yard! They are very reasonably priced, on-time, meticulous about their quality! You won’t be disappointed.

Finally got my backyard Sprinklers, Curb, and Grass done after a whole year of looking at nothing but dirt back there. I'm grateful for the crews hard work. Team was very professional, punctual, and consistent throughout the week. Couldn't recommend them enough.

We recently had sod, an irrigation system, a retaining wall, and curbing installed, and the entire project turned out exceptional. The quality of work exceeded our expectations, and the pricing was extremely reasonable. The team was efficient, professional, and delivered beautiful results. The whole job went great from Jesse giving the quote to all the work being done and the Employees work ethic. They killed the old sod and took it out with a machine then torched the soil and rotortilled in feed soil amend soil and leveled. Repaired a few sprinklers laid and rolled sod with weighted roller, spread starter feed and made sure sprinklers covered all lawn and set sprinklers to keep grass moist, cleaned up work site. Good Job
