Paul, the CEO, personally came to our home on short notice on a Saturday morning, to restore our home charger, which EVCharge4U had installed three years earlier. it was a simple fix, but he did not charge us for his time. He explained how to fix the problem ourselves, should it recur.

Eight years ago, Paul Nijssen installed our first home EV charger. He obtained all the proper permits ahead of the job before starting work. He showed up as scheduled and added the breaker in the panel, ran the conduit and wiring, and installed the charger. The work was completed quickly and correctly and easily passed inspection.

When the original charger failed to operate properly, instead of repairing it, we opted to replace it with an upgrade. Our previous experience with Paul was so good that we immediately contacted his company, now called EVCharge4U. We requested guidance on which charger to purchase and Paul personally responded with recommendations. When the charger was delivered, we sent an email to Paul and he called us within an hour to schedule the installation for the next morning.

Paul arrived on time and swapped out the charger in about a half-hour. He stayed around long enough to help set up the connection to the app. The charger was energized and worked like a charm.

In addition to being knowledgeable and competent, Paul is a most pleasant and friendly person. He patiently answers all questions and does not seem to mind our company while he works. He cuts no corners and his work is excellent. I can confidently recommend Paul Nijssen and EVCharge4U for any work related to installing EV chargers. The work will be completed quickly at a fair price and you will be satisfied.

EVCHARGE4U installed an Enel X fast charger for our home back in 2019. Last fall the parent company for Enel X went under and a week ago our charger stopped working. I cannot tell you what happened only to say that after much troubleshooting and reading all the EV charging blogs, I ended up calling the company that installed it, EVCHARGE4U. OMG what amazing service! Their staff responded to my phone call within hours. The owner of the company personally came by before the end of the day that I called to see what the problem was. Within a half hour of his arrival, he had installed a new charger at no cost. Our 3-year warranty had lapsed but this amazing businessman, both charming and with a HUGE amount of integrity, provided impeccable service. Thank you so very much EVCHARGE4U! You have restored my hope in humanity!

UPDATE:
My power went out. It was 11am on Sunday morning and I tried everything within my knowledge. Unsuccessfully.
I text Ken (as I was so pleased with his previous work). I also put a request on yelp incase he was not available.
Ken was here within the hour. He is closed on Sundays, and I know had to juggle a lot of things to help me out. He identified the issue, which was within my electric box, and fixed it very quickly. I should add the issue is completely unrelated to his previous work (I just have an old house).
I am so grateful, I am sure he had better things planned for his day.
Also from the few responses I got on yelp nobody else was available either, so without Ken I would have been stuck. But thankfully he found a way to help me.
His price was very reasonable, especially as it is Sunday.

Review for the previous outlet/lighting job:
Ken and his team did a fantastic job. I have had a troublesome outlet for a while, but as I was decorating I decided that I really needed to get it fixed quickly. I also wanted a rough estimate for installing LED lights in my kitchen ceiling (a project for the future, so I thought).
Ken was so quick to respond, had great prices, and managed to fit in the outlet repair the next day.
I was so impressed with his work that I decided to bring forward the LED project. But, again, I had a short timeline as I wanted to do it before I painted. He worked with me and managed to find time that worked for both of us.
His prices are great, he is collaborative, considerate and very tidy. I highly recommend him. Thank you Ken, you will be back!

I saw the previous review but thought that guy was having a bad day... Not, this guy is rude when I asked for someone to speak with regarding work done he asked "what do you want" I was mid-sentence and he hung up. Never call this guy for anything. Find anybody else.

Fariborz quickly came and diagnosed a circuit problem and a broken fixture in the middle of the holiday season. Power restored right away! Highly recommended.

I am very happy with Fairborz's work. My garbage disposal was not working. He came on time and quickly figured out the problem and fixed the disposal.

I called them about a problem I was having with some electrical sockets. Fairborz was able to come by in less than a half hour. After doing some detective work to figure out which socket in the series was actually causing the problem, he was able to resolve the problem and left me a satisfied customer.
