Yellow Jacket did an excellent job in the installation of my minisplit heat pump. All the various personnel were competent and very easy to deal with. The installation work was efficient and precise. A couple things that stood out were the direct path they provided with regard to rebate info. (not so with another contractor I contacted) . And they also include surge protection for the electrical components on the outdoor unit--paying attention to all the details.

Very professional installation of outstanding heat pump equipment completed ahead of schedule are reasons I’m very satisfied. I recommend this company without reservation.

We had 1-888-Heat-Pumps (Yellow Jackets) install a Fujitsu mini split in our living room in early March. We’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well it has worked to heat the whole house very quietly and efficiently. Our cost of heating the house has been greatly reduced without any reduction of our comfort level. We are also happy knowing we have retired our gas burning furnace, thus making our small contribution to reducing greenhouse gasses.

Working with Tenzin, Andrei and the installer team of Drake and Brad was easy as they take their job of helping us, the clients, achieve our goal with friendliness, and efficiency . The installation took most of one day including the complete cleanup at the end of the day.

Usually I don’t write online reviews, but in this case, I will make an exception as the work of the Yellow Jacket or 1-888-Heat-Pumps company was excellent. They installed a mini split heat pump in my older home in an upstairs bedroom. Andrei, as the Installer, answered all my questions taking great care in the placement of the indoor and outdoor units. The work crew, Drake and Jaxon, were on time, respectful, cleaned their work areas, and very efficient completing my project on the early side. I highly recommend them, have recommended them to a friend of mine, and intend to call on them again when I am ready to replace my gas furnace. I am pleased to write this review to help them grow their company.

I don’t usually write reviews, but 1888-Heat-Pumps deserves every bit of praise. From the moment they showed up with a bottle of wine to the smooth closeout, their customer service was next level. I got three quotes, and not only were they the most cost-effective, but they also installed the highest quality equipment. Can’t recommend them enough. Shoutout to Tenzin, Andrei, Drake, Austin, and Te—you guys have it dialed in. I’ll be sending everyone your way. PS: they’ve also got the dopest hats.

Working with 888 Heat Pumps was absolutely seamless every step of the way. After having them install a heat pump at my house, I honestly feel like this is a company I am really proud to have in my community, and I am so happy to support them. I have nothing but good things to say. I felt like they actually deeply cared about my experience and my long term happiness with my system, and their professionalism, expertise, and integrity was so apparent. First, when receiving a bid, Soepa was so friendly, knowledgeable, honest and communicative. He works collaboratively with you to explain exactly what to expect and helps outline how the system will go in your house. Prices are super fair, no upsells – just very straightforward so you can make the right decision for your home. Once I booked, I got an extremely clear email outlining exactly what to expect which made the whole process so stress-free. On the day of the installation, my installers communicated with me throughout the day, took time to go through the placement of each unit with me so I felt totally in the loop, and were extremely friendly, tidy, and professional. I felt so confident having them work on my home because I could tell how competent and invested they were in the outcome. They finished up more quickly than I expected and explained the whole system to me before leaving. I had a top to bottom effortless, positive experience, and was so impressed with their entire team, how kind everyone was, and how well informed and professional they all were.

The team that installed my heat pump was highly professional, friendly and expert. They communicated a ton throughout the three day project and got the project done with care and efficiency.

These guys are the real deal. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Their website says “Local installers who care” and they 100% lived up to this tagline. Soepa, Owen, Andrei, Auston, and Jaxon were great to work with and we’re thrilled with our new system. They were organized, responsive, and reasonably priced. Communication was excellent from start to finish and the installation process was completed smoothly and on-time. We went from the initial meeting to a fully installed air to water heat pump system (Harvest Thermal) in three weeks. If you’re considering a heat pump, 1-888-Heat-Pumps should be at the top of your list.

We had mini-split heat pumps installed and I having nothing but good things to say about the experience. The quote we got was very competitive and the professionalism and knowledge of the products really convinced us to go with 1-888-heat-pumps. I'm glad we did. They were very flexible in scheduling dates that worked for us (we had a number of other projects going on so that was super helpful) and then the installation itself went very smooth. They also helped us navigate a tricky GoGreen loan application and coordinate with a water heater installer to get a heat pump water heater put in at the same time. Now our house is much more comfortable and in the end we will probably save money from the efficiency of the heat pumps!

Brilliant. They overestimated the time it would take, and still did a thorough, considerate job. The exterior unit looks great, too! As a customer, I have no control over the cost, but it’s clear this company takes care of its people — and that shows in the craftsmanship. I’m also 1000% behind a company that does the right thing.

Can't speak highly enough about the YJ Team! We had a fantastic experience with them installing two ductless mini split units. The consultation was very thorough, with Andrei taking the time to answer our numerous questions and walk through the pros/cons of ducted vs ductless. Proposal was very competitively priced, clearly explained and included YJ handling multiple incentives on our behalf. Owen, Drake and Mike did a stellar install job, consulting us on all aesthetic decisions, showing up exactly on time every day and efficiently doing the work (no noise disruptions as we worked from home throughout the install). Post install, Andrei even helped us gather extra documentation to apply to an extra incentive we qualified for after full home electrification.

Overall a joy to work with them and would highly recommend for your heat pump install!

Our heat pump installation went incredibly smoothly. Everyone we worked with, from drafting the plan, to scheduling, to the actual installers was super responsive and helpful. They obviously take a lot of pride in doing a great job. I would highly recommend working with them.

They installed a mini-split unit for us, and the entire process was immaculate from start to finish. They kept our home clean and organized while working, and they were incredibly accommodating throughout the project.

Drake from 1888heatpumps came out today, right on time for scheduled appointment to fix or replace my Fujitsu heat pump wall thermostat. With clear communication, he set about checking out the system & proceeded to make it work correctly again. Drake was skilled & efficient at all he did. I was so impressed & happy that I added on to the work order. The 2nd part was to install a piece of hardware to enable remote thermostat control for my mobile. Again, good communication, efficiency & accuracy in Drake's work. This is the best HVAC company I've ever dealt with!
