The last time we tried to use them they asked to reschedule. When I called back they said they wont come to do small jobs. Recently we called for different job that is not small After several calls and text messages there is no response. .We think they do not want the work or are out of business. Possibly they just don't respond.

Professional, licensed, insured. Their work is top notch. They know how to fix whatever is wrong. Their prices are fair. You can't go wrong.

Reliable, friendly, competent contractors. Alaska's has been out to work on my house a couple of times, and they are always on time and professional. I inherited a very creative electrical set up from the previous home owner. Alaska's has updated the existing electrical in the house and added new indoor and outdoor lighting to the barn. I very much appreciate them giving me peace of mind that I'm not at risk of an electrical fire from the preexisting work they've looked at, too.

Dwayne Burnley of DMB Electric is absolutely the best! We needed a Generac Generator installed and called Dwayne. What we anticipated would be a relatively simple job turned into a major project. The cabin was built in 1964 and the power panel not only needed to be upgraded but relocated to the garage. This required electric service to be moved to the new panel and power reestablished from the garage to the cabin. Trenching then had to be done for the new electrical lines from the garage down to the Generac. As we all know, trenching in the rock of Big Bear is no small task. This was an extensive project that took several weeks to complete. Every step of the way, Dwayne was attentive to detail and keep me informed every step of the way. Considering how extensive this project was, Dwayne provided excellent value and pricing. No project is too large for Dwayne and DMB Electric.

Had a problem with my ceiling fan and not being able to shut it off. Called Dwayne and he got someone out as soon as he could. I've used DMB Electric 2 times now and they always resolved the problems and came out in a timely manner. He's my go to now and with reasonable pricing. Thanks Dwayne!

We had an issue with our electrical panel. Dwayne was able to work with the electric company at a fast pace so we could get the problem resolved. Since it is a vacation house he sent pictures to show the progression of the job. He is the Best on the mountain and should always be your first phone call.

Dwayne did an excellent job. He had all the diagnostic tools, some I didn't know existed. He fixed the problem and explained the solution. Very knowledgeable of what is required by code.

I first called Dwayne in a panic about a broken ceiling fan, with renters coming that week. Dwayne and his son showed up the next day with a fan from his shop since there was not enough time to order a replacement, and installed it in time for the renters. Not only is he polite and efficient but he left the work area completely spotless!

Dwayne was a lifesaver, our entire bathroom lost power, not being one to battle with electricity, I looked up electricians right away, not any electrician, but one that was listed as (BEST) BY Google search. Even though it was after hours, Dwayne of DMB ELECTRIC, not only answered my call, but came out the next day and fixed the problem, as well as other issues that he noticed. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DMB ELECTRIC to anyone in Big Bear, that needs any electrical service done. Shocking estimate for jacuzzi circuit installation, and unexpected charge for a visit. Jacuzzi wiring estimate was over $4,000! An electrician based in San Bernardino did a beautiful job for $1,200. Before DMB's ridiculous estimate, I was charged $180 for a visit with a DMB employee. I needed help connecting circuits for room addition wiring added before I bought the house and an estimate for the work if needed. The employee told me the lights and outlets were all on one circuit which turned out to be false. I later purchased my own wire tracing device, and found two separate circuits coming out under the house, waiting to be connected to the panel... I will not be hiring DMB to make that final connection!
I'm finding home specialists in Big Bear to be expensive and unreliable. I've had nightmares with a local plumber (dropped a water heater down the stairs and refused to make any repairs), contractor (very expensive and no shows), and handyman (drywall install shows seams and screw holes). The best help seems to be in the valleys below us. Feel free to post questions if you'd like additional information

Best Electrician ever on this mountain!! Took care of my family’s place, made sure all wires were safe and up to date, professionally upgraded main panel and sub panel! Then took the time to rewire our barn as there were safety concerns for our animals! Very clean, pick up after himself! And he teaches us all about the proper ways of electrical! Very honest! And on top of the game ! Thank you Dwayne!! I totally recommend DMB Electric !
