I usually don't write reviews, but California Mechanical was fantastic. After calling multiple people during this heat wave, California Mechanical was the only company that answered my call. I was able to schedule a next day appointment. The next day I had a tech by the name Carlos, within a few minutes Carlos figured out the problem. He presented me an estimate on his phone, and after a quick signature Carlos had my Air conditioner working again

Henry and his crew came out and were able to get our unit up and running in no time at all. He and all his crew is super friendly really do a great job. Would highly recommend them!

I called a different company, and after their estimate, I called California Mechanical for a second option, the owner Henry came out, and after a few minutes, he informed me the only problem I had was a fuse and dirty filter. Henry saved me hundreds of dollars, he was reasonable on his price and honest. I will highly recommend calling Henry at California Mechanical

Henry is amazing. I called California mechanical during this heat wave, the next day a tech by the name Carlos called me to confirm my appointment and was giving me a courtesy call letting me know he was on his way. After Carlos had arrived he when to work, with in minutes, my system was working again

If I could, I would give this company a ten-star rating. As a service company owner myself, I am always rating the employees of other company's and their service. So let me say this "Henry" you hit it out of the ballpark on all of the check marks I would expect of a full-service A/C company. Got straight to work, troubleshot the problem, and my A/C was up and running with in five minutes after he started. He even Installed a new Nest Thermostat Set up the device and walked me thru it. Fantastic work ethic and CLEAN!

Arrived at scheduled time. Looked at the issue with AC unit, Said it was a control board. Need to order part. This was Wednesday, 5/17. Said he would schedule for the next day when the parts arrive. It is now Friday afternoon and no word, even after several VMs. Charged $120 and nothing. It is now 90 outside and my 89 year old MIL, with dementia, is complaining. Quite loudly I will say. Poor, poor service.

I called American for help with my AC which was working intermittently. Jose arrived at the agreed time, was very polite and professional. He spent almost an hour diagnosing the issue and helped me understand all the parts that led to this conclusion. I would recommend Jose and American if you need help with your AC issues!

Relief manager at public storage, Henry came in to fix the air conditioning in the office and he was great! Wonderful customer service and great personality. Funny as well! That's what makes the job fun. Keep up the good work Henry!

Henry was amazing after my air conditioning when out a few days ago, I called a different there price was higher than expected, so I called California Mechanical after talking to Henry he informed me the competitor's price was way too high. The next day Henry himself came out and fixed my A/C for a fraction of the competitor's price.

I would absolutely recommend Henry to anyone. My grandparents needed a quote since their air conditioner broke and he was very professional and actually cared about how the heat could cause harm to the elder people. Was very quick and explained everything thoroughly. If ever you need heating and air help Henry is the one to call. Thanks again!!!!

Cali Climate was amazing. They were efficient, timely and professional. I totally appreciate the tech Luis. He was very knowledgeable and fixed my AC unit in time for the upcoming heat wave. Can't say enough about this company.

Wow what can I say Henry was fantastic, my mother-in-law places A/c stopped working last night around 8:30 Pm I called multiple places hoping to get a live person and to my surprise California mechanical ANSWERED. I explained to Henry that my mother-in-law home was 94 degrees and I need it some ASAP. He explained to me that all his techs were gone for the day. BUT he was still in the office and if I would give him a few minutes to grab a quick bite and pick up an energy drink that he will be there in a few minutes.

30 minutes later I meet him at the house, within minutes he found the problem, I was expecting to pay extra for coming out after hours but NO!! the estimate was reasonable. huge props to California mechanical for stepping up to the plate late at night.

Will highly recommend to everyone

Fantastic service Henry came out on Sunday fathers days! And Repair my a/c that went out Saturday night my house was 95 degrees after a few minutes Henry had our home nice and cold. Will highly recommend

Was told for five days during the worst heat wave of the summer that somebody was coming to fix our ac. The owner Henry lied to us multiple times over the phone and we ended up having to call somebody else as we have a baby that can't sleep in a 90+ degree bedroom. Not sure why he couldn't just say they weren't coming instead of avoiding calls and not returning messages and making up excuses.

Wish they could've just been honest instead of wasting our time. Avoid them if you can, there are a lot of other great companies that can turnaround in under 24hrs.

I have been a resident property manager at my company for a little over 4 years now. During the past 3 I have been dealing with Henry and partner with any heating and AC issues in my office as well as my home. They always come on time and ready to get the job done, always happy with their work, they have saved me from many hot days in my small office and hot home!! Today Henry by himself got my home with brand new heater and AC system, I couldn't be happier on this hot day in my well cooled home!! Very friendly and hard working!! Thanks guys and Henry!!

HORRIBLE!! I called this company because I thought I could trust them based on the great reviews. I was wrong. I Called Henry on Tuesday, we scheduled for Friday morning, he gave me a window of 9-11am. It was now 11:30 on Friday morning and I got no call from anyone saying they were running late. Called Henry at 11:30 and he said because of their work meeting that morning they were running 45 minutes behind. I figured no biggie and he said he will have someone call me. It was now 2:50pm and still NO WORD from anyone. So I called him again and he said his technicians were now running 2 hours behind and he will have his tech that was in Walnut Creek call me right away to give me an estimated time of when he would be coming.. never got a call and it was now approaching 5 pm so at that point I call and cancel the appointment. It takes a lot for me to get frustrated and this was just beyond horrible service. Never got an apology from him every time I had to call him, nor a phone call back to try and make it right.

We found our HVAC guy!!, Our A/C stopped providing Air in the last week or so, and it has been so Hot in the house! As a due diligence, I have called five companies to compare.

First of all, the lady who answered the phone - Henry - was very nice and professional. Picked up the phone right away, called me back right away, and was able to address my needs and scheduled their guy to come to our house the first thing in the very next morning.

(In comparison - with other companies I called, some had to transfer me to a different department. Some of the people who answered didn't sound too professional or friendly. Yes, I do want to work with people I like.)

Hector - the technician who came to my house was on time, true professional and capable, helpful, and very kind! He serviced our unit and the best of all. The house is cold again by the time he left our house within an hour!!! THANK YOU, Hector!!

I cannot say enough positive things about California Mechanical. From start to finish they were professional. Henry is amazing and very informative he always took my calls, answered my questions and kept me up to date with things. On the day of installation the crew was on time at 6:45, And got straight to work and were very courteous. I am vary pleased with all of the work that was done. Highly recommended.
