Fantastic service! Solved a mysterious house leak. I am always going to call Gotelli for my plumbing issues.

Leo did some fairly straight-forward plumbing repairs at our condo in SF. Quick work at a fair price.

They have been to my house numerous times in the past 10 plus yrs. and their prices were by the hour. On this occasion they had a simple snake job and were here no more than 30 minutes. They now charge $89.00 to evaluate the problem even though you know what the problem is. The total bill for the just to snake was $494.90. Almost $500.00 for 30 minutes. This is outrageous. I left a message for them with my concerns right after the job and no one called me back. There worker said they were complying with a new State Law. I never found such a law. Being a senior this cost was something that I could not afford. I felt very trapped. If you have these issues with this company I would report it. I would check other places before you hire them.

    VERY SHADY COMPANY

These guys showed up to our home unbooked. They called my husband saying they were at our home (nothing scheduled - owner was supposed to call my husband to schedule something and instead just had his workers show up without ever letting us know).

Their job was very shoddy. Loose ends not tied up and they ACTUALLY HAD THE NERVE TO USE MY HUSBAND’S MATERIAL!! something they should have had with them.

My husband had called the company when the guys showed up at the house. The owner answered and was very rude and arrogant. He threatened to pull the guys off the job and basically made it seem like he was too good of a “tradesman” to be listening to my husband concerns.

When they left our home they even signed a bare beam that we had a friend sign for other reasons. Completely ruined our memories.

No offer of providing a contract, no estimate of work provided prior, just forced into work and told we’d receive an invoice.

Owner had the nerve to say that he told my husband how much the job would be- without even looking at our place or asking questions.

Rude and unprofessional. Will be complaining to the licensing board and better business bureau.

I have had an issue at one of my properties for months. I called upon Leo Gotelli, as a plumbing consultant to determine the cause of the issue with the pipes in the wall. After numerous follow up calls, and emails, the issue still remains and the expert has yet to visit the property himself. If you are in a pinch and in need of an expert, I suggest calling upon someone else.

Bernardo and Felipe just came out to fix a problem with a sink and a problem with the dishwasher. As always, they excelled. While they were here, they also fixed faucet knobs in three different bathrooms that had slowly come loose due to not being installed correctly. They identified the cause immediately, which involved going underneath the sinks, and had them all fixed in less than ten minutes. They also unclogged a sink, quickly, which is something we forgot to mention when we called.

I've met a lot of smart people, like we all have. These guys can run with any of them. They're not just packing wrenches in their tool belts; they have multiple intelligences in there as well, visual/spacial, logical, kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal,...and they are humble, with great senses of humor.

Bernardo also pointed out that the screws on our outdoor kitchen granite counter were going to leave rust spots, which they had started to already. That's the kind of professionals they are. They come to help, not just to put their heads down, do the job and leave. Just an all around smart guy that you would do well to have in your life. I know that anytime we have a plumbing need, prompt, professional, affordable, and enjoyable plumbing service is just a phone call away.

We've been hiring trade workers for over a quarter of a century and these guys are at the top.

    Bernardo for President! Seriously.

This company is GREAT! I cannot say enough good things about them. Twice I’ve called them during plumbing emergencies and they’ve been super responsive with great prices. Once I had a flood from my hot water heater, they showed up and replaced it that day. This last time I had an awful smell that we thought might be a plumbing problem. Called them at 4pm, they showed up the next morning, determined the issue, and fixed it! That’s what I call VALUE and totally trustworthy.

Guys arrived on time, wore protective booties to keep floor clean, and quickly fixed my leaking trap pipe cleaning up thoroughly before leaving. They gave me great advice on another drippy bathroom faucet as the cost to fix might not be worth the money; parts would have to be ordered anyway.

After having used Gotelli Plumbing for many years for all of our plumbing requirements, when the hot water heater which they installed several years ago began to leak, they refused to return my calls or respond to messages requesting that they come to look at the unit and determine what the problem is. My water bill increased by 50%, the water department suggested there must be a leak, and they refuse to even look for it. So I would definitely not recommend Gotelli to anyone.

For over 2 years Leo Gotelli, owner, did not fix back ups from an upstairs unit. Leo Gotelli no showed 5 times creating massive floodings and disrepair and unit abatements by 2 city inspectors. When confronted on his numerous no shows he lies and invents another appointment date that was said which did not exist.
His main client, being Gramercy towers, he makes sure he never finishes the full job, creating water shut offs to more than 300 residents biweekly. It is clear that there is some kind of corruption to use Leo Gotelli at the Gramercy. Entire floors were flooded at the Gramercy by Leo Gotelli unfinished work by his design. Check out contractors' reviews on Leo Gotelli. Leo Gotelli makes sure he has to come back to collect more payments by never finishing the job. Then Leo Gotelli can no show at his whim, with no call, no nothing except his lies.

I called the company to request help with a link under my sink. The owner called me back immediately and said he can have someone here shortly. Great, I thought.

The plumber arrived, looked at it, found a loose screw and tightened it. I asked about pricing, he said he isn't allowed to discuss pricing or take money, the company will contact me.

At no point was I informed about pricing.

A few days later I got a bill by mail for $245 described as "minimum charge".

This didn't seem reasonable to me, as at no point when scheduling the appointment or during the visit was I told about any minimum fee or charge.

I contacted the company multiple times via email and phone over the following two months. I was told the owner will call back, but no-one ever did, and all follow-ups were ignored.

A few days ago I received a letter saying my bill is overdue.

I live in a large building, I posted in our building group, and others shared they had the same experience with this company.

In CA, mandatory fees are required to be disclosed before service (SB 478, effective July 2024). I believe the practices of this company are not legal and not ethical.

I am posting this to warn other customers. I recommend avoiding this company as I wouldn't want to deal with someone not ethical and difficult to deal with. If you must, make sure you ask about pricing upfront.

Carter saved us on a rainy day just before Christmas when our ejector pump started to misbehave. His expertise about pumps was invaluable and his dedication kept him working right up to Christmas Eve. His efforts were a huge gift to us.

Great experience with Stellar Plumbing. We had a clogged sink and a slow flushing toilet. They diagnosed and fixed both problems quickly and professionally. They were friendly, knowledgable, and left the area clean.

Lon was very friendly and consultative, and did a fantastic job of installing our faucet and reverse osmosis water filtration system. He ensured all fittings were in compliance with code, and left the work area clean and took away all the packaging. Would highly recommend him as a true professional for any plumbing needs. He responded and got the job done faster than our other offers/quotes. Thank you so much!

My second floor bath tub was backed up and had still water for a day. I tried the usual tricks and nothing worked. I called Stellar Plumbing since they are local and in downtown Brisbane. Carter answered the phone and said he could come the same day for service in the afternoon. He showed up on time as agreed and gave me a reasonable plumber price ahead of time for the work. He fixed the problem and found another issue with my tub. He gave me a second quote and returned to complete the job. He was punctual, friendly, and clean. I would recommend Stellar Plumbing for anyone in the area that has issues. They take care of local residents. I was happy not to have to wait a day for assistance.
