I had a terrible experience with Summit HVAC, a business owned by Romeo Tariman, when Michael McCarter installed a furnace and air conditioner in my home over a year ago. The system has been faulty ever since, constantly running but never reaching the set temperature. I've had to call Mike out multiple times to troubleshoot the issue, which was frustrating and time-consuming.
The problem persisted for 18 months until I sought opinions from two other HVAC companies. Both found that the furnace wasn't installed correctly, safety features were bypassed, and the units weren't connected properly. What's even more alarming is that Mike McCarter was verbally abusive to me, my daughter, and my son-in-law during one of our interactions.
I've since researched other companies for a new installation, and both recommended that I avoid Summit HVAC due to their poor workmanship. Thankfully, I found a reliable company that installed a new system, which is working perfectly now. My advice would be to steer clear of Mike McCarter, Romeo Tariman, and any business they're associated with.
