On one of the hottest spells of the past year, our air conditioning/heat pump decided to stop working. We are talking 103° weather here. We tried calling around to other businesses, but everyone said it would be a 1 to 2 week wait. Thankfully, we found Alexander heating and cooling online, via Google. The owner, Dathan, came the same day we called to inquire about service. What a friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, efficient and helpful man! He diagnosed the issue, had it fixed and our ac running in under an hour. MIRACLE!! We will be using Alexander heating and cooling for all of our future HVAC needs. Dathan & daughter were exceptional! We had to replace our existing furnace due to power surges from PG&E during the Caldor fire which burned the interior components. We received a reasonable quote from Dathan and we had a new furnace installed in a few days. Also Dathan came by twice to insure the new furnace was working properly and took the old furnace away. If you need a new furnace I would definitely recommend Dathan and his company, Alexander Pros!

We should have written this review a couple of years ago, but with the temperature today near 100 degrees in Cameron Park (and we are nice and cool inside) we are reminded how incredibly grateful we are for the work done by Dathan and his extraordinary team. When our A/C broke during a heat wave, Dathan came promptly, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part needed for the repair, and kept us informed until the part was delivered and installed. Dathan’s customer service is a rare find in today’s contracting industry. They were professional, responsive, and great at what they do. On our second project with Alexander Heating & Air Conditioning, they were clear in explaining how they would install zoned areas in our existing HVAC system to evenly heat and cool our home. They also installed a whole house fan. Due to their professionalism and expert knowledge, we have enjoyed 2 years of comfortable temperatures in our home. It is obvious that they care about their customers and the quality of their work. We highly recommend this company.
