I have had the pleasure of working with Robert Calvo for 8 years.
Robert has done all remodeling of 3 retail stores, remodel 6 custom homes. One of the homes is a 4 story mansion on the corner 17th and N St this home has been featured in multiple magazines. My personal home has been featured twice on the cover of Home and Garden for the Sacbee.
Robert is a very special person and contractor. He is a man of huge integrity, honesty, loyalty, trustworthy and a perfectionist his work is amazing.
When I describe Roberts work ethics to my peers that are looking for a contractor, I tell them when Robert is cutting a hole in your ceiling for lighting he holds a dustpan under the hole he is cutting.
Need I say he is meticulous!

This is the second project we have worked with Robert and the attention to detail and organization is what we have come to expect. He and his assistant Josh, updated our main bath and replaced our laundry room floor. They removed all the old fixtures and replaced with new, laid new flooring( vinyl plank, which turned out perfect) and painted. Josh did the painting and was meticulous about protecting any surface not removed, he even re-painted the laundry room, even though we had not contracted for that, because of the less then professional job we had done prior to the new floor being laid. Thank you Robert and Josh for a great new bathroom and laundry

I contacted Robert Calvo to install a couple of Whirlybird roof air vents on my home. I was pleasantly surprised with the quote he gave me and we set a date and time. Robert showed up on time, was very courteous and professional, had the job completed sooner than I had expected, and cleaned up leaving no mess or evidence work was done. The vents look and work great, and I couldn’t be happier with Robert.

I contracted Robert to work on a pretty big project that mainly consisted of the replacement of approximately 30+ panels of siding on my home. Robert completed the job in the specified time frame and did a beautiful job! Not only did he perform the task at hand, he even went above and beyond by installing our cat door on the new side door he had replaced so we wouldn't have to take care of it. In additional to being a professional expert in his field, Robert displays a kindness and calmness not often seen in his profession. This even spilled over to our neighbors who absolutely adored him (and his work) and even asked for his information for future reference! Definitely superior service and he will be my "go to guy" for all of my future home improvement projects.

I called Robert after a piss-poor repair job went array. I was hesitant to trust anyone else. Robert did a repair to the siding on my house a few years ago and did a fantastic job so I knew that I could trust him to do a good job again. Robert fixed my leaky faucet and identified the root issue was with my garbage disposal. I am definitely a satisfied customer and happy to have waited for a contractor whom I can trust.

Robert is a skillful and professional contractor. He calmly walked us through our partial kitchen remodel. He located an adapter kit when the overhead range vent we selected wouldn't fit the low ceiling. He's a master of dry wall repair, can't tell the old from the new. His plumbing and electrical skills are flawless. We love all the updates to the condo and will definitely be calling him again for our next project. Robert came out to my house a did a great job remodeling our office into a bedroom for our in-laws. He really took care to make sure the new closet matched our existing closets in just about every way possible. The other thing I noticed was the time and attention he paid to overbuilding everything to be strong. We are really happy that we hired him!

I contacted Robert after the purchase of my first home. The home was built in 1947, and was in need of some updates and TLC. I contracted him to install a new kitchen, update the shower in the bathroom, replace the living room ceiling, install ceiling fans and light fixtures, and paint the entire house inside and out. Robert is a consummate professional. The work came in on time and within budget. He pointed out a few things that I would have overlooked, and I was grateful he caught and repaired them before they became an issue down the road. His assistant Josh handled the painting duties, and his skills are impeccable. Both of them arrived early in the morning, and were extremely pleasant and professional. Robert takes an extreme amount of pride in his work, as does Josh, and the results were breathtaking. The home has been transformed into the dream home that I have always wanted. You could do no better than to have Robert as your contractor, and I look forward to doing more projects with him in the future.

Robert just finished remodeling a kitchen, bathroom, replaced windows and followed up after a new air conditioning install in a property we have had in the family for quite awhile. I heartily recommend him and his work. He is everything you want a contractor to be; knowledgeable, competent, on time, and has a quiet pride in doing things right the first time. Robert Calvo did an absolutely first class job installing our new front door. This can be a tricky process, requiring someone who is careful and meticulous at every step, as installing a new front door is the marrying of a new product in an existing home, with existing interior and exterior trim. Robert was perfect for the job, beginning by measuring everything several times, and very carefully taking off all the old trim so as not to damage anything. Once the door was in, he had to do some customization on the hardware, as the deadbolt and front handle were manufactured by a different company than the door itself. Robert creatively solved all of these issues, and made it all work perfectly together. I would definitely hire him again, and recommend him to anyone who needs a detail-oriented contractor for their home repair/improvement projects.

I was referred to Robert by a Painter that was getting ready to prep my house for painting. Robert replaced all of the under eves woodwork before the painting and did an excellent job for a very reasonable price. Attention to detail was evident wherever you looked at his work. After that I had Robert remove some in-wall gas heaters and patch up the drywall. When I saw the drywall work I could not even tell that any drywall work had been done, he had matched the existing texture perfectly. I then had Robert do some siding work with Hardy Board. Again the job turned out perfect. I was very busy and I had Robert come by to replace an aging circuit breaker. He then replaced an old single pane window for me and he cut it in so perfectly that you could not tell it was a new window, it looked like it was part of the house. I did not have time to finish putting a new dishwasher in and Robert was able to get the job done in very little time. He then hung a screen door for me which turned out looking great. Robert gets his work done when promised and always will tell you up front exactly what it will take to do the job. I would highly recommend his work, and if you want someone who will pay attention to details, Robert is the person to call.

Robert and his crew is very experienced,  detailed and hard working.   I hired them to do dryrot repairs before having my house painted.   I am very particular on how I want things.  My Grandfather and Uncle where homebuilders and so I know the difference between a good and bad job.  This is tough for less experienced and knowledgeable professionals,  but this did not phase them.  We walked the job and went over everything in detail and he provided a very competitive bid.  During the job they ended up finding more dryrot then initially expected,  but he just got it done, and didnt "nickel and dime" me.  He was also honest enough to admit he broke one of my tiles while on the roof and offered to fix it and even noted some other broken tiles in other places that he took care of for me as well- no charge.  While I did not expect it he even offered to drive 40 minutes away to pick up the exact lightweight tiles from the manufacturer.  He also worked very well with my painters to make sure everything was caulked and prepped property to ensure a long lasting product.  My home feels like new again.  Thanks guys you went above and beyond.  It was almost like I hired a good friend to work on my home.
