They are professional, prompt, honest, and thorough. I called them due to the water heater not working. Tenant informed me no hot water running through out the home.

The water heater is only 5yrs old. When the tech (Edgar) arrived he inspected the water heater and all connections. For some reason the water heater was off. One of those freak occurrences that happen from time to time. He simply turned it back on and explained to me that sometimes these things happen and are in inexplicable.

What I appreciated most was their honesty. They didn't try to up sell me, make some phony repair or tell me it needed to be replaced. They've earned a loyal customer for any future jobs I have on my homes.

I gladly paid for the quick response, honest evaluation and professionalism. I highly recommend them. The staff was a delight to work with.

We called them one day and they came the next day. They were very professional in every way. They did camera work to see what was going on with our sewer lines. They explained the findings to us really well, gave us pictures and a video of what they found, and were really nice. We would definitely hire them again!

I found Castaneda's plumbing on Yelp. They could deploy to our house in 2 hours. The plumber Joel used a snake to clear the sewer and then checked the pipe with a camera to determine the cause of the blockage. He found that the roots completely blocked the sewer. He used a cutter to clear those roots.

However, if we leave it and don't take any treatment, the pipe will be clogged by the roots within one or two years. The plumber gave me a quote for pipe replacement.

Overall, the plumber did a good job and had a proper business manner. Thank you, Joel!

Joel showed up to fix the tub faucet that went faulty right before a new tenant was about to move in that same day, and Joel was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He went straight to work and took care of the job quickly and professionally. I’ve used Castaneda’s before and they do a great job every time. Joel came over the day I called. He saw what my problem was… I had roots and branches in my main pipe line. He came back next day and had it fixed! He was very reasonable in price and did a fantastic job in fixing my pipe! I highly recommend him!

I found Castaneda’s Plumbing & Rooter on Friday morning after my toilets weren’t flushing and making a gargling noise. I found them on Yelp and called sue to their rating, and I’m glad I did. I called around 9am and was told I’d have a plumber at my house between 11 am and 1 pm, and Joel showed up a little after 11 and right away, he was kind, and professional. He gave some thoughts on what could be happening and what the costs would be for each instance. Once he did a check, he let us know the price and he was about to do next. Within 20mins Joel had fixed the problem!! We were amazed at how quick, but efficient he was. He also gave us some advice on fixing future issues as well. We were able to pay him directly and the whole process took less than 30mins. Phenomenal service and professionalism.

Wow, not only were they so quick to respond (literally came the next day), they did incredible work! Professional, straight forward and fairly priced. We had them replace and install new faucets and caulk our tub and vanity. Excellent work. Don’t hesitate to call them!

Came across Castaneda's while looking for a plumber to resolve a plumbing issue. Phoned and an appointment was made for the next morning. Edgar arrived, examined the situation and laid out the possible options. Repairs were done as described. Castaneda's honesty, timeliness and expertise is greatly appreciated. And my choice for future plumbing needs.

Responsive on Yelp. Easy to schedule the next morning from the night before, assuming they have availability, which they did. They arrived during their scheduled appointment window. After service was completed, I found out the minimum service call fee is $125, additional work is $100+ depending on the difficulty. I opted not for the additional work since the problem was the toilet water line and not the additional toilet fill valve that they offered to replace also. If they have to come back, minimum service call is $125, etc. That's a steal since they sent out two guys.

This is a very good and reliable plumber. Every time I have called regarding a plumbing issue, they always respond and show up in a timely manner. The prices are very reasonable. I recommended them to my next door neighbor when her pipes burst in the house. They showed up immediately and fixed all her plumbing within 3 days. I trust this company and will continue to use them in the future.

I work at a converted warehouse office and needed a plumber to cap off some water lines from 5 sinks in the middle of the space while keeping our bathroom sinks intact. Joel the tech that came to survey the request suggest we cap off the source where the bathroons branch off instead of each individual sink water line. He helped me save a lot of work along with a good amount of money with his suggestion. I appreciated is insight and honesty at solving the task at hand.

Received notice from the City about a leak in our property but unable to find where. Called a couple of Plumbing Companies to evaluate the situation and were able to book free estimates the following day. First company came and provided their findings along with estimated cost (on the higher end). Joel from Castaneda Plumbing and Rooter came thereafter and provided a much clearer explanation and slightly less than the first company. What stood out the most is how Joel addressed the situation. He was concise, confident but humble, and not pushy about how we can resolve the issue. You can tell immediately how experienced Joel was since he grabbed a metal rod and started sticking it in the ground to get a feel of how much force he needed to apply to determine where the leak is coming from. Whereas the first company felt more like a sales pitch unfortunately. Then, Joel grabbed a shovel and asked permission if he could dig a little – permission granted. Just a few dirt off the ground and on the same spot where Joel started digging, he not only found the pipe but also the leak. He explained our options and their pros and cons so as a homeowner, I can make a sound decision on how we would like to get this fixed. While deciding, Joel went ahead and offered to temporarily fix the leak by spot repairing the pipe for free. During his repair, he also discovered there was another leak that he had to repair as well – both part of his and the company’s great customer service! After deciding on how we would like to approach it, Joel said he can come back two days later and get it all fixed. Joel came back as discussed with Danny, who immediately went to work. They explained the plan again and gave us adequate warning when they will be turning off the water, so it won’t inconvenience us. Joel and Danny’s quality of work is truly wonderful. They explained how the previous pipe was installed and what they did to improve the installation and mitigate the same risk of leak from happening. Not only they put the dirt back to how they were but also fixed a certain area of our ground that didn’t really need fixing – shows you how detail oriented these guys are. We’re very happy in choosing Castaneda Plumbing and Rooter especially having Joel and Danny help us fix this issue. Joel even recommended to contact the City and perhaps they could consider crediting us for the sudden increase in our bill once we explain that the leak was not neglected and repaired immediately – no guarantees but the fact that Joel even thought about this really shows they care about their customers. It’s not easy to find reliable and honest vendors especially hardworking individuals like Joel and Danny. We truly appreciate their hard work, dedication, and quality of work provided. Made an emergency plumbing request. My shower would not drain.

Called this Castanedas Plumbing Company. Jose answered and set me up with Rolando. Rolando came on Thursday. He discovered that the Drain Pipe going to the main line was completely clogged. This pipe was underneath the house at the crawlspace. He also discovered that shower was leaking from the top level to the crawlspace. He stated that the grout is cracked causing the water to seep in and out.

He quoted me $1700 to fix everything. Meaning changing and replacing the clogged shower drain pipe to the main pipe. Regrouting the shower tiles.
I agreed, set up the 2nd schedule for Friday 03.06.2026.

Rolando took about 4 to 5 hours to fix everything. He was a young man with experience. Changed drain pipe and regrouted!

I dont know much about piping. I am ignorant when it comes to pricing. It just had to get done. I had no time for 2nd quotes. Finger crossed I wasn't overcharged lol.

Overall, I would call back for piping service. This is the 2nd time I called this company. First time was my kitchen sink that was clogged. The good thing is I have 90 days of warranty from the time of fix. I really dont know if I still have problems to call back the plumber. The only way to really find out is to crawl underneath the house.

Overall, pleased with uncertainty.
