Matt was great and did a fantastic job upgrading our electrical panel. We had an old panel and sub panel that both had to be replaced. I got multiple quotes and Matt was the best price and did a great job and met the building inspector to get all the permits signed.

We had a fantastic experience with Matt fixing our video doorbell. He was able to schedule us for same day service. He fixed the electricity to the video doorbell in a timely manner. His rates are reasonable. Matt is friendly and I would contact him again for any of our electrical needs.

Matt has helped us with multiple home electrical projects this year (New bathroom build, service panel upgrade, and level 2 car charger install). He provided insight and expertise the entire way. Matt answered any questions we had in the permit filing process with the city and PG&E applications. His work passed inspections without issue. He asked detailed questions about our plan and made suggestions on products and materials which made the finished work that much better. I would definitely use Matt again!

We requested to have a 220 volt, 30 amp circuit breaker installed into an existing panel with existing 40 amp cables to an existing box for a new electric oven. The technician installed a single pole 30 amp circuit breaker and charged $450.00.

For this installation, a 220v circuit requires a double pole breaker for one 110v connections to each of the A and B bus.

Because of this basic lack of understanding of how electrical circuits are installed, the cost of a simple breaker installation has cost much more than anticipated. Discount Electric, Inc. refused to admit error and refunded only half of the original cost, despite the fact their work had to be completely re-done by a competent electrical contractor.

I do not recommend Discount Electric, Inc. for residential work.

Jae did a EV charger installation for me. He was easy to get hold of. He came out and provided me an estimate. His price was reasonable. He proceeded to do the installation. He showed up on time and did a great job. I highly recommend him.

Jae and this crew recently completed all of the electrical work in my new ADU (in law unit) build, this also required moving the electrical coming into the primary house.

From the get go Jae was very professional with this approach in providing estimate, suggestion, and finalizing the contract. His numbers were extremely reasonable. I throughly enjoyed working with him, his work was very clean. He will always cleaned up after the work. As part of any bigger project there few hiccups due to external reason, but Jae responsibly accommodated the change in plans.

It would have been pretty difficult to get this project done with out a partner like Jae. I highly recommend Jae and his crew.

Electric AC DC installed a dedicated 40A circuit for our electric range. Jae and his crew arrived on time and completed the work within the time they specified. They were professional and courteous. When our electric range arrived, we needed the outlet to be adjusted a bit so that the range can be pushed closer to the wall. Jae came back promptly to make the adjustment. For my next electrical project, I will definitely give Jae a call.

I needed to place a new electric panel to support solar as well as properly ground the panel as my house was older and did not have proper grounding. Jae and his team did an amazing job. He was always punctual, did a high quality job, got all the permits and the city passed all inspections without a hitch. His price was not the lowest but definitely on the lower end of the dozens of people I got quotes from, but the companies with lower quotes were trying to cut corners which would not have passed inspection. I highly recommend him to everyone.
