Caleb is the Project Manager who promptly got back to me and went over all the trees I needed cutting in a time crunch so I could get my new AC unit installed on my roof. When the Chico Fire hit, the company’s resources were sent to help with the fire and they couldn’t do my job. However, Caleb contacted another company he knew who would do an excellent job and made sure they could complete everything in time for my AC installation! He went above and beyond to make sure my job was covered! I highly recommend Mountain Air Land Management! Great people!

Robert was very polite and upfront about the project. I did not have surprise fees at the end of the job like I have with other Land Management companies. Prices are always competitive and they leave the work site cleaner then they found it. So many companies leave a mess. Not these guys. Skilled, respectful, and just great to work with. We recently moved to the area and were told by our insurance company that we’re in a high fire risk zone. We started looking for a fire-proofing service but were overwhelmed by all the flyers we received in the mail. By chance, we met Caleb at the post office—he was in line in front of us and had a box of mailers offering free quotes, so we struck up a conversation. He actually came out later that same day to take a look at our property.

Caleb was incredibly thorough, answered all our questions, and a few days later, emailed us a detailed quote based on everything we wanted done around the house. I’m a hands-on person, so I took a chainsaw and loppers to the brush and trees near the house—but realized afterward that I may have made things worse. Caleb came back out the next day—on his day off—with a wood chipper and helped me clear everything properly.

He’s professional, friendly, and genuinely cares. Honestly, he’s someone I’d trust to watch our kids if we had any! The prices were very reasonable and the attention to detail was top-notch. Caleb even helped take down a few more small trees that I couldn’t get to myself.

I highly recommend Mountain Air Land Management. Definitely ask for Caleb—he’s not just someone we hired; I’d actually consider him a friend now. I’m looking forward to having them back out soon to tackle the next project: clearing a large patch of bushes and some poison oak out front.

Called early on a Saturday morning and just so happened they were in the area. Within two hours my A/C was up and running. Incredible customer service! Fast, friendly and personable.

I would never call these people again. I called them and had 4 text msgs. With them and they still have not come out and finished my job. They have been jerking me around for 3 weeks now. I have put in no less then 6 calls. If you want honest don't go here. Total bonehead. All I needed done is a replacement of copper tubing. Not rocket science.

It looks like the bad reviews come from those of us who have used them under our home warranty. Edwards was called out under a home warranty to fix a condensation leak on my AC. After inspection the technician immediately lets us know this is a pre-existing condition and will not be covered. We asked him what the problem was. He said he didn't know yet. It would take 2 hours of labor to figure this out. I said, so you don't know what's wrong, but you know it's not covered? Anyway, he blew out a plugged line and charged us a two hour charge. He had also mentioned that the drain pan may be leaking or may not. I said what does that mean. Well I checked it and it doesn't appear to be leaking now. I would need to remove your evaporator to check further which would be several hundred more dollars. He also said a rubber hose was leaking and needed replaced. At $250.00. We declined all other repairs and I called Northern Heating and Air for a second opinion. They inspected the system to find the rubber hose needed the clamp tightened and the pan with little surface rust from the previous leak was fine. The rest of the system works great. Especially since it was installed in 2014. Bad, Bad business. When money is your motivation you will end up out of business. People and honesty first. One star for showing up on time.

We wanted to convert our 3100 sq ft two story home from a very thirsty propane furnace and electric AC unit to a more efficient electric all in one system commonly referred to as a mini-split or heat pump. We received a few quotes and although Jeff wasn't the cheapest, after meeting him and walking under the house with him I knew he was the right choice. He pays great attention to detail and is happy to do things the way you want as long as doing so doesn't cause any safety or performance issues. He arrived on time as scheduled and had a friendly and professional crew. He stayed on-site the entire time, removed our old equipment, installed our new equipment utilizing our existing ducts as requested, then installed our old equipment at a neighbor's home. Both jobs went perfectly. Per my request he also installed multiple volumetric dampers so I could individually control airflow to the downstairs which is basically a guest suite. After having to keep the wood stove going 24/7 during the winter, we are finally effortlessly comfortable night and day in hot and cold weather. The wood features in our home no longer crack and pop thanks to the consistent temperature and humidity the new system offers. The Fujitsu equipment he recommended has been amazing and the WiFi thermostat has been so convenient. Our system is now entirely automated for hot and cold seasons. I haven't had to call Jeff for service or maintenance yet, but I'm sure he'll take great care of me when I do. I really appreciate his help in modernizing our older home.

Edward’s is amazing. I got three estimates, one said I needed a new unit for $30k, another said a main something was out for $7k and Edward’s knew immediately it was a $400 part that he had on his truck. Fixed it right there and I could not be happier!

Jeff Edwards wouldnt even come out to diagnose our issue no money in it for him to charge what he wants. He lost the bid to install a new system years back by a long shot i gave him a opportunity we got a great system and for much cheaper than the minimum system he proposed for our house we were so glad we didnt go with edwards. but i tried to give him business cause he is local. He wouldnt come saying he would have a hard time getting his money from.the company with the warrenty part. The business that did come had no issue with this at all in fact they said this is very simple anyone can do. Apparently he just didnt want to make whatever he could on the job. Also he had my post on yelp removed to help save himself and hide what he is... Ill never call him again i have a real ac co and guy now that is honest and good ! No more Edwards hes a scammer !
