From the first phone call to the estimate and cleaning our experience was exceptional. Accommodating to our busy life and making space on the weekend was a sign of a company that goes above and beyond expectations. Our cleaner Bryan Tonkinson was a pleasure and very fair and honest. Will absolutely recommend and will be using their services in the future.

Steam Master cleaned my oriental rug it looks fantastic! It smells nice and fresh, the fringe is white again, and all of the colors look brighter. They had it done in a couple of days, and I could not be more pleased. All around great company…I will be back!

I've had other carpet cleaning companies come to my house. I wasn't very please with any of them. My friend uses Steam Master so I decided to give them a try. These guys are great, they did what they say, they were friendly, very PROFESSIONAL, and my carpets look beautiful. I will definitely use them again!!!

You should NOT use this company under any circumstances.

1. Rugs were promised in 2 weeks, and took almost 2 months. Repeated calls resulted in ‘manager will call you back’ and they did not … even once!
2. Installer broke a vintage lamp and management response, after (again) many unreturned calls, was “you will definitely NOT be reimbursed.”

I have never posted a negative review about a business, but I felt prospective customers need to be warned.

This company ruined my rug! This place is terrible! They have 4 different numbers and lied! The guy told me that they do such little water that can do it on my wood floor! The rug came out hard! Dirty! And smelling way worse! I talk to someone about getting my money back she said it will take a while for them you to make a decision! It’s a 8x10 huge beautiful rug that just needed a cleaning now it’s ruined and I want my 250$ that I paid for it! Do not go here! They are horrible

I called them in a pinch after a bad encounter with another carpet cleaner. They had no availability, and I explained I had already moved all my furniture out. The GM, Greg, said he would make some calls and 15 minutes later he called to say he was sending someone!
The man was polite, professional and gave me a good quote. Did a Perfect job and I am thankful to the whole company. When I need it again, I’ll be calling you!!!!!!!!

Made an appt for Sunday, received a call they were on their way, technician came an hour half late from the 2 hour window frame. It was close to six. Technician asked if he could come tomorrow. I said that was fine, he said it was the office fault. I called the office told them what had happened. The office said they would can offer 10% discount. The technician came Monday brought his machine out of his personal van, not a company van. I asked him why are you using ur van, he said we are self contracted. I asked for a business card he said he didn’t have any. By this time my furniture is already moved out of the room again and I am working outside on my laptop. Technician asked if he can use the hot water in the kitchen, he poured the water into his bucket and started cleaning the rugs. NO Steam was coming from his nozzle. He said it’s hot water and steam with high cleaner you will see the difference after I am done.
My carpets were wet all week, I see a little cleaner difference. I had to put fans in each room as carpet was wet till Friday. Carpet smells funny not sure why. I’m hoping there is no mold under the carpets. 3 days later I called the office, let them know the carpets are wet, they said use fans. I said I already have fans. She asked if I wanted a re-do I said yes, that would be nice, and I would like to speak to a manager. She said a manger would call me back. I also asked for a receipt by email, I still have not received an email. I was told they take cash, check, card. Technician wanted only cash.
Yes, I could have refused the work, I had already moved my furniture out twice already for them to shampoo. This was a horrible service and not having the manger call me, shows they don’t care. I’m very disappointed and will never recommend this place. I’m still waiting for my receipt. I paid $310 cash, I want to see what their receipt states.

We have this nice 6x9 area rug in our apartment that I loved when we purchased it. My husband wanted to treat it from spots and our little dog but afterwards it was gray looking. I was so disappointed but lived with it.
I went over to a friends house and his area rugs looked so nice. He said he only goes to Steam Master in Costa Mesa. They came out on a Wednesday and returned my rug Friday afternoon. Nice guys placed it back under the sectional and we are looking good or should I say GREAT! Thank you so much for saving my rug that I love!❤️ Definitely will be a return customer!!!

Scott and George were both very professional and courteous. Scott cleaned the carpet in my classroom. He did an amazing job! Very pleased it looks brand new! Can’t wait for my students to see the difference. Will definitely be contacting Steam Masters to come and clean my carpets at home next week!

I have had Steam Master clean my carpet and upholstery for years. The staff is knowledgeable and professional and go above and beyond. I recently took my car in for the interior to be cleaned. All of the stains were gone, it smelled fresh and they wiped down the dash and some other hard surfaces also which was totally unexpected. I was ready to get back on the road in my clean car within a short visit! The Steam Master Team is Amazing!

Love this company!! Recently had my downstairs carpets cleaned. I have used Steam Master Carpet Cleaners for well over 15 years. The initial phone conversation is pleasant and helpful. They are always accommodating with scheduling a convenient time and their men are professional, arrive on time with a smile ready to work. I wouldn't trust my carpets to any other company.

I contacted them for a quote on a job I was able to hopefully resolve on my own. I received a prompt call back, a very reasonable quote if I need their services going forward, and they went the extra mile by giving me some advice on additional cleaning steps I can take at home if needed. Great customer service!

Bait and Switch Pricing

I was quoted $59 for two rooms and $2 per stair over the phone, which seemed like a fair deal. But when the technician arrived, he suddenly said it would be $129 per area and $3 per stair—more than double what I was originally told. I felt completely misled.

It’s incredibly frustrating when a company lures you in with one price, only to try and charge you something completely different once they show up. I value transparency and honesty, and unfortunately, I didn’t get that here. Be cautious and make sure to get everything in writing beforehand if you choose to work with them.

We had Steam Master OC do our area rug, couches and stair carpeting and honestly I can’t believe I’ve ever wasted money on a different company to come clean our furniture. Everything looks brand new despite the fact that it’s 10+ years old and has been stained by our two young kids and large dog. They were so thorough, easy to work with and pick up/drop off is included. Initially I wasn’t thrilled about our couches being gone for a few nights but it was beyond worth it. Thank you!!

The Steam Master team is friendly, prompt, courteous, and efficient. They cleaned one room of wall to wall carpeting, an area rug, and four large pieces of upholstered furniture for me with stellar results. Everything looked like new! Pickup and delivery was smooth. Turnaround was fast. Results were all I could have asked for. Price was very reasonable. And on top of that, they were a pleasure to meet and work with. I will never call anyone else for carpet or furniture cleaning again. Cannot recommend highly enough!
