We love this company Appliance service specialists! We have known them for many years. We called them out for the 3rd time this week, and they were amazing yet again! The previous two times were dishwasher issues. The first time they fixed it, the second time they were totally honest with us and let us know it would be cheaper to replace, so we did. I love a company that will tell the truth! This time it was for our garage fridge, which was making a crazy loud noise. Dimitry came out (same day) and said it was the fan that needed replacing. He needed to order it and would come back the next day. He showed up right on time and replaced the fan in about 5 minutes. This is our go to place when we need appliance repair, we will definitely call them again if something should happen in the future.

I’ve hired Appliance Service Specialists for a number of different appliance repair jobs. They have always fixed the problem at a fair price. Whenever an appliance breaks down either in my home or in my rentals they are the first company I call.

This company is one of the very few appliance specialists in Orange County, California that is LICENSED, BONDED & INSURED, and in GOOD STANDING WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE BOARD! Their service fee is VERY REASONABLE and they have VERY FAIR AND HONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES.

I had an emergency repair job on my refrigerator. Appliance Service Specialists answered my call, and were very helpful from the beginning. They came promptly and fixed it according to everything they told me on the telephone. I definitely will call them the next time I have to repair an appliance.

I personally have known this appliance company for over 15 years. I also know a lot of customs who were fully satisfied their services including myself. I would recommend this appliance company for any appliance repairs needs your might have at your house, condo or apartment in Orange County area.

Not honest! Wanted to charge me over $300 to fix washing machine. Made up stories on how my washing machine was top of the line and expensive. When in reality it's 10 years old and when googled it it's only $250-300 for a brand new. I bought the part online for $30 and took me 5 minutes to replace.

I called for a microwave repair and had an appointment for the technician to come out. He did not come at all, but came the next day. He ended up charging me $338 to replace two door switches. He left the package for one on the counter and I looked it up. It was $4 retail, but he charged me $70 each. When I called to complain they denied he used that switch, but said he used a $40 switch but I had to pay the markup. Wow.

I was experiencing an issue with my dryer, and I had ASSI send out one of their technicians to take a look at it. They quickly diagnosed the issue and they had the parts on their trucks to repair it right away. The job was performed quickly and for a fair price.

Total scam over the phone. The lady said normal cost to fix refrigerators from one to $300. I paid $75 to the repair man he quoted me almost $900 to fix my refrigerator so that’s what they do. They keep going from collecting $75 because nobody’s gonna pay $800 To $900 to fix the refrigerator when you can buy a brand new one scam scam scam

May be I got lucky… but technician showed up in my house in 45 minutes after service call.
Polite and professional guy. Knowledgeable.
Did everything what I have asked for fair price.
Cannot complain. Will use them again if anything happen.

This is my first time with Appliance Service Specialists Inc, but I have friends who have gone through them in the past. A 100% satisfactory experience, from my own experience to my friends' experience. It's always nice to find a service person who treats you fairly. Prompt, great repairs, reasonable rates. What more could you ask for? I have already recommended ASSI to several people.

EVERYTHING ELSE IS TERRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

The service technician that was sent out to see why my washer was leaking was WORTHLESS.
He spent 10 minutes inspecting the machine from the periphery, didn’t bother to pull it out. He was told there was a small leak at the end of the cycle. He reported the tub was unbalanced and would charge me $125. per hour labor to level it. That would entail turning the knobs on the bottom of the washer.

HE NEVER TURNED THE MACHINE ON!

When I called to report my dissatisfaction I was told, he didn’t turn it on because of the possible water the damage to my property.

When the neighbor turned the machine on and noticed a water leak in the drain line we shut the machine off.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Update: The two parts to repair the fridge cost $212 and I installed them myself. Saved over $500 by doing so. Do not hire this company!

Absolute scammers! Avoid at all costs!

I called them and told them my model number, serial number, and the problem with my refrigerator - the lights don’t work.

They sent some 70 year old man out to do a $75 service call. He writes down the model and serial number and tells me my lights are out. But it’s ok because “the $75 goes toward the service repair”.

I waited 3 days because I didn’t hear from anyone - the lady lies to me and says she just received the estimate so she sent it via text. $727 to replace two lights in my refrigerator!!! Seven hundred dollars!!!

I immediately tell them I’m not paying this and I showed them the parts, which were 70% less than what they were charging. She says “that might not be the right part”. But it is, I called Whirlpool.

They wanted $250 just in service to replace the lights!! I am able to pop them in and out myself - it takes 30 seconds.

I asked them to refund my $75 because I was scammed and at that moment SHE CHARGED MY CARD!! She knew I wasn’t moving forward so they got any money they could from me.

I’ll be charging back the $75 on my credit card and leaving reviews on every single review site they have an account with.

Terrible people, terrible company, and even worse service.

I just want to say BOGDAN was an attentive and amazing specialist that fixed my washer. He was extremely professional and did everything in his power to assure me that he would be able to fix it (even when parts were delayed)
