Constraction reviews in Dana Point, California

SoCal Home Renovation, led by Idan, totally rocked my pool renovation! From plastering to tiling, they nailed every detail. Idan was super cool and knew his stuff. Working with Socal Home Renovation, especially with project manager Idan, was an absolute pleasure. We needed to replace our cracked concrete driveway, and they transformed it with stunning pavers. Idan's professionalism and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The quality of their work exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Highly recommend Socal Home Renovation for any home improvement project!

The Socal Home Renovation team provided exceptional assistance in turning around a crucial project for us, and the outcome is outstanding! Both speed and quality were paramount for our project, and this team delivered on both fronts.

We recently bought a home that had been flipped by a large company. While the flippers did excellent work in some areas, they fell short in others. After adopting a new puppy, we discovered that the backyard had grass seeded over sections the flippers used as a makeshift dump. Unfortunately, our puppy fell ill a few times because of this. We urgently needed a contractor to overhaul the entire backyard—installing new sod, sprinklers, a walkway, and a fence. Our aim was not just to create a safe space for our young puppy to run, play, and grow but also to enhance the yard's aesthetics.

During the estimation phase, Ron and Jacob were invaluable. They even advised against certain additions we had considered, which could have increased the cost. Their guidance clearly showed a genuine desire to help us make wise investments. Furthermore, when we introduced new ideas mid-project, they were accommodating and promptly provided alternative options and estimates. This adaptability showcases their commitment to ensuring client satisfaction.

Moreover, Ron and Jacob are genuine dog lovers. They truly understood our objectives and displayed incredible kindness and patience with our puppy during estimations and site visits. A heartfelt thank you to the Socal Home Renovation team!

The driveway looks fantastic and was finished on time and within budget. I highly recommend them for any renovation projects!

Seriously where do I begin? I am not sure I am enough of a wordsmith to adequately describe how completely and utterly DELIGHTED I am with EVERY SINGLE ASPECT of the deck remodel. We've received so many compliments and it transformed our backyard space beyond belief. 5 stars from us!

SoCal Home Renovation just completed an ADU and installed new pavers in my driveway and I could not be any happier with the results. Ron's the best and I can't wait to work with him again!

New pool and spa backyard renovation
Including pavers artificial turf totally exceeded our expectations! Highly recommended!

I'm a big fan of SoCal Home Renovation. I've worked with Ron on a number of projects, from fencing, walls, gates, landscaping, and woodwork. The quality of his team's work is great, they're timely, and they meet or deliver on budget and timeline consistently. What I appreciate the most, however, is that sometimes, if I need something tweaked or fixed to my liking, Ron is extremely responsive and reasonable to get his team back out there to address any issues. This is a departure from my experience with other contractors, who will go MIA on you as soon as the project is done and they've collected their money. For that reason, I go back to Ron time and again for his quality of service and integrity as a business person. I highlight recommend him!

Wow I’m so happy, Ron and his team are so sweet, professional and perfectionist.
Don’t think twice and choose them. It’s almost impossible to find guys like them and you are lucky to be that one, I promise.
Thanks Ron.

We recently completed a pool project with SoCal Home Renovations, and I can't say enough great things about the experience. Ron, the general contractor, was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He was professional, always on time, and maintained excellent communication throughout the entire process. The final result exceeded our expectations — the pool turned out wonderful! We’re so happy we chose SoCal Home Renovations and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a smooth, high-quality renovation experience.

Ron remodeled our pool and it came out amazing! He added a color-changing LED light, aqua blue mini pebble finish, gray mosaic tile, concrete coping, and a stamped concrete deck. Everything was done in less than a month, with clean-up and inspections handled smoothly. The whole backyard looks brand new!

Ron & his team did an amazing job helping us with our wooden deck remodel. From the start, he really took the time to understand the look we were going for and made sure it worked with the style of our home. He handled everything so smoothly, especially coordinating orders to fit our timeline. Highly recommended!!

Ron and his team installed hardwood floors throughout our home, and the results were perfect. The project was done on time and on budget, with no surprises.

They helped us pick the right style and made the whole process easy. The quality is top-notch, and by the end, it felt like we were working with family.

Highly recommend if you want great work and people you can trust.

When we first talked about adding an ADU, I was worried it would be a huge headache. But having Ron as the project manager completely changed that. He was calm, organized, and really listened to what we wanted. I loved seeing the space evolve — walls going up, windows installed, and finally the finishing touches that made it feel like part of our home. Ron even suggested a few ideas I hadn’t thought of, which turned out amazing. The ADU is now not just functional, but a space we actually enjoy spending time in. Couldn’t have asked for a smoother process!

Our bathroom remodel turned out better than I ever imagined. The crew was friendly and professional, arriving on time every day and keeping the space clean. I was impressed with how they managed the unexpected plumbing challenges without any delays. The end result is stunning the combination of colors, lighting, and fixtures makes it feel like a spa at home. I feel proud showing it off to friends and family, and I honestly didn’t expect the remodel to feel this seamless. Ron’s guidance during the project made everything smooth and easy.

We hired Ron to build an infinity pool on our hillside home.
He took care of the planning, foundation work, and permitting, which was a huge relief for us.
The hillside wasn’t easy to work with, and we did have some set back (which was mentioned by Ron at early stage of the planning.
The pool came out amazing — clean lines, beautiful finish, and it blends perfectly with the view. Ron was always easy to talk to and kept us updated with the work or any delays.
Definitely recommend if you want quality work for complicated hillside projects.
