Robert was very helpful explaining what he saw on our roof. He was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. I feel very comfortable with the quote he have us.

Now here are the issues that I had... When the crew arrived they cleaned the gutters and did the small repairs first.. It's the middle of summer.. its dry and dusty up there.. Instead of asking me to move my cars, they blow out the gutters and get crap all over my cars. Dust and small rocks flying on my cars is not cool. I would have gladly moved them if they asked.. on the back of the house, the larger dirt/vegetation from the gutters were just scooped up and tossed it on the floor...? Why? The guy had a bag up there that he was using to collect that waste material? Then, they cleaned the downspouts (?).. from the looks of it, they flushed it with water, but all of the dirt from up top obviously comes down.. no clean up or anything after the fact. Dirt is all over the place on the ground. You're already doing the job, why not just wash it away or sweep it up?

The skylights came the week or two after and they did the replacement, which was great. However, these units (unlike my old ones) have a metal frame at the base.... Winter is approaching and I'm finding water spots on my floors in the morning.. I thought they were leaking.. I called them, someone takes a message, and no one calls me back.. (this is probably the 3rd or 4th time this has happened since the start). It's frustrating when you're already locked in with a vendor and they can't get back to you.. sure I can call someone else, but we spent all of this time and effort the build the rapport, I don't want to call someone else...

An update to my previous experience which I posted a week ago.
Before I begin, I want to say, how people respond after making a mistake speaks volumes on who they are. Do the own up to their mistakes? Do they properly apologize? Do they take care of the issue at hand? And a bonus really is if they take the time to explain to you what happened.

The owners reached out to me fairly quickly after my review, as well as the project manager (who was unaware of my negative feedback until later on).. Without getting too into the weeds, Jeff, one of the business partners emailed me and apologized graciously. He assured me that they will connect internally and make this situation right. He asked me to give them another shot and they would do whatever it took to earn my business. But David the project manager called me to get information on the issue I was having and apologized for the delay (unknowingly about the feedback I had left). He told me he would reach out to their skylight vendor regarding my issue and see what he could do. He called me back later that day with a resolution to replace the skylights with an upgraded model which was warrantied by the supplier and they covered the labor charged. They came back and did the work with a great attitude and apologized again in person.

Later that evening, Sean, the General Manager/Business Partner called me and asked to get my feedback. He wanted to hear it straight and understand their shortcomings so they could learn and improve from this interaction. It was a very pleasant call, he was very attentive and listened and shared what he felt they should have done from the start and their philosophy on the business. He was utterly shocked from my feedback and apologized as well.

In short, yes they screwed up... but we're human. We all make mistakes. But they took the time to follow up, learn from their mistakes and took the feedback on the chin. No BS excuses (but they did clarify why things were missed) and promised to do better. I told Sean, they've earned my business and I will continue to use and recommend them. Thank you.

It was such a pleasure meeting with Anthony today who inspected my leaking roof. He was very thorough, pleasant, respectful, knowledgeable, detailed and respectful. I will recommend Sierra roofing and solar to friends and family. They deserve their stars for sure!

Sierra gave us a very detailed quote of what the work would entail. Their crew came out and did a great job on the roof and gutters. The crew was professional and clean, leaving no mess behind after the job was complete.

Robert was prompt and professional. Explained clearly what he found to be the cause of the leak and how to fix it. He gave me recommendations on maintenance for my ceramic tile roof but I never felt pressured.

Excellent workmanship. They had exactly the materials we wanted for our roof. We're very considerate and, all things considered, quiet. Did an excellent job of cleaning up after they had left. Great follow through and response. knowledgeable staff.

Hired Sierra to do a new roof. Their prediction of when the job would start was off by a month. Re roof went very smoothly once it started and the product looks great. Unfortunately, to do all the finishing touches of paint and pickup took over 4 weeks. They replaced facia board and they did a horrible job on repainting the areas they repaired. Repairs they did to the facia look unprofessional and sloppy. Some of the gutters needed replacing and instead of quoting the job and letting us know, they just reinstalled gutters that are actively leaking. I'm really disappointed with the final product of the facia and gutters.

Had such a great experience with Sierra Roofing. We had a leaky roof and they were quick to send their emergency team out and have a look at it. Diagnosed the problem and made the repair and even after a week of torrential rains, no more leaks. Every touch point was professional and friendly. Hopefully our roof won’t sprout any new leaks but if it does will definitely use Sierra again.
