GPS Plumbing

I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent plumbing service visit.

First, your associate arrived without a camera and only had a snake tool, which proved inadequate to diagnose the root cause of the issue. He later attempted to schedule a follow-up appointment with a crew equipped with a camera, but I had expected that to be included in the original visit. As a result, I declined the additional appointment.

Second, during the visit, your associate appeared to be stalling and wasting time. He repeatedly attempted to use the snake in the same clean-out five times. After the third attempt, I asked whether we should try an alternative approach since it clearly wasn’t working. He responded that he did not have any other tools available.

Finally, the entire visit took approximately 2.5 hours, which felt excessive given that only one tool was used and no progress was made. I even offered to assist by helping move equipment to speed things up. It should not have taken that long to determine that the available equipment was insufficient to resolve the issue.

As a result of the service visit:
1. I did not get the pipes unclogged
2. I did not learn about the reason why the pipe had a blockage
3. I had to ask your associate to finish the job because it was obvious he was stalling for time on a Friday afternoon.
4. I had to pay $235 for the visit

I would not recommend others to use GPS plumbing for your plumbing issues.

This plumber is knowledgeable and he verified with me that the problem was resolved before he left.

This is what I call customer service.

We used GPS years ago when they were the sub for our home remodel. The quality of workmanship, the honesty of the employees, and the ease of working with them have made them my go-to plumbers. I recommend them without reservation! Hector did our work this time, and was absolutely a delight to work with.
