We had two problems with our Bosch dishwasher. Tony Hariri at H.A.R. Appliance Repair quickly and competently fixed both with a 24-hour turn-around. Repair service doesn't get better than Tony's, and the price was very reasonable. He also does Thermador appliances, I'm not sure what other brands.

We had water leaking from the dishwasher and I had emailed Tony a picture. He quickly identified the air cap as being the problem. We were able to fix it on our own, but would use H.A.R for any appliance issues.

Tony is top notch, top shelf.
He was a little hesitant to come out to fix my LG washing machine pump impeller because he said they take a long time to repair. This fellow had it disassembled, repaired and put back together it literally 30 minutes!

Mr. Tony Hariri came to my home to repair my gas oven (Frigidaire) that wasn't working. Wouldn't heat and I smelled gas when I turned it on. He arrived promptly, had made the diagnosis based on our phone conversation, was very polite and efficient. He had the problem fixed within 20 minutes! My stove works like new. Tony fixed my beloved 22 year old washer. I was so worried I'd have to replace it, but Tony fixed it quickly and now it's working just as good as new. He came the same day I called, fixed it quickly, and very reasonable price. I will definitively use him again and I highly recommend him.

Tony was professional, quick, and easy to deal with. Got the oven fixed in basically 2 hours after I called him initially. Didn't think it could possibly get fixed that fast. Tony was a pleasure to conduct business with.

Tony is terrific. It was maybe 2 or 3 nights before we were to be hosting Thanksgiving at ours and our oven igniter stopped working. I called after hours and Tony came out the next day with a replacement for the part he suspected (rightly) had failed. He fixed us up in less than half an hour and for the rest of that day and the next, we proceeded to execute a triumphant Thanksgiving feast that won't soon be forgotten. Also, ask to see a pic of his dog - a very cute li'l canine.

I have a vintage O'Keefe and Merritt stove and over night the oven burner stopped working. I called three other places praying someone could help because I love this stove. Two of the other places told me no one really repairs them anymore which made me loose a little bit of hope. I saw all the positive reviews for Tony and gave him a call around 10am today. He answered right away asked me to send him some photos and he'd call me later in the day. He called me and told me he'd like to come look at it today and gave me his house call service fee. I was out running errands at the time and he told me to call him when I got home (El Cerrito), FLEXIBILITY IS SO NICE TO FIND!!
I texted him about 330pm and he was here about 430pm and fixed it all up before 5pm. Only charged me the service fee.

**if you are needing to know if Tony is going the extra mile to take precautions as far as COVID19 goes the answer is yes!
He wore a mask, didn't touch much other than the stove and didn't invade any personal space bubbles!

Suddenly the door locking mechanism on our front load washer wouldn't unlock. It was Wednesday 12/29/21. We called that afternoon and spoke with Tony. We told him the issue and error code and sent a picture of the model number tag from washer. He called me back a little later and said he might be able to get part the next day or day after and he'd get back in touch.
He was able to get the part the next day and able to come later that afternoon. It took about 15 mins and he'd replaced the locking mechanism and it worked!! We were so grateful to Tony for a great job done so quickly and for such a reasonable rate. He also showed me some other functions about our washer and suggested things that might clean better in our washer.
It's not often someone can come right away, fix an appliance so quickly, be polite, friendly and helpful all at the same time!! Thanks again Tony for helping us so quickly. We highly recommend Tony.

Odd review as I have yet to hire Tony. I called him to ask about pricing to fix my samsung oven which had no gas flow.

He generously explained the safety gas valve accessible under the oven may be the culprit and needs a reset. He was right. Oven now works after 2 months of fail.

Rare to find a technician who is so helpful. He is now my go-to appliance repair person because of this positive experience.

Tony did a good job on both my dryer and washer. He came as soon as he was available (within 2 days). Unlike the big companies ( SEARS) I have to wait for 20 days, for their first available appointment. Even makes recommendations to prevent further breakdowns.
I'm canceling my home warranty from Sears. Tony's company is more economical and cost effective.

H.A.R. Appliance repair and their technician Tony Hariri were recommended to me by two different neighbors. Communication was quick and easy through both texts and phone calls. He was able to diagnose from my description of the problem and photos, ordered the right part and fixed my stove within 24 hours of my first contract with him. Working with Tony was pleasant and stress-free.

Our oven door wasn’t working properly. So we called HAR. Tony was very fast and efficient from our first call until the job was done. He was also upfront with expectations that my oven could potentially be beyond repair. And his price was very reasonable and much lower than a prior comparable appliance repair job from another local company.
Thing inspected our a couple days after the call and realized it just needed some parts replaced. He promptly ordered the parts which came in just a day or two after, at which point he went back and fixed it right away. Overall it took 3-4 days from our first call to the repair, and it was partly dependent on our tenant’s schedule. I was expecting 2-3 weeks based on the prior similar repair job by another company.
Given the oven was at a tenant’s home, Tony sent me a video and photos of the repaired oven, so I could see that the job was done properly even without being there myself.
We’re so glad to finally know a reliable and efficient appliance repair company. The tenants also thought highly of Tony.

Tony was excellent! He scheduled with me quickly to repair my dryer, then called to let me know about a cancellation he had and came out the same day I called. He had the parts he needed to make the repair and did so in less than an hour. He cleaned up after himself well. The price was reasonable. And he was fun with my curious six year old daughter who had a ton of questions. We'll call him again for sure if we need to!

I am super impressed with HAR Appliance. Tony was able to quickly diagnose and fix both issues on our 1950's antique Wedgewood oven. He got the broiler and the bake oven working properly and showed me how to fix them if they go out again, along with walking me through some other tips for the stove/oven.

Our home warranty contracted with HAR after the first company couldn't figure out how to navigate the 70-year old oven. Tony came out early evening on the same day that I returned their scheduling call. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend HAR Appliance and will use them for any future appliance issues.

I found H.A.R. Hi-Tech Appliance Repair online and picked out of many others in the area because of his reviews. The reviews are spot on. Tony answered my appliance repair call and was very educated on LG Appliances and the problem I was having. He got back to me quickly once he checked his inventory for parts and gave me an estimate of everything. He provided a window for his arrival and texted me when he was on his way. Tony was friendly and cleaned up the interior on the inside of the dryer and gave me a few tips on how to keep the dryer from overheating. Tony has been in this business for 30+ years and services the East Bay area. He mentioned he used to have a brick and mortar business with his brother where they repaired and sold used appliances, but after COVID he decided to close the doors and take his business mobile and stick to repairing on site for customers. My dog even found Tony friendly and wanted to play with him. She is normally a very timid dog, for her to offer to play ball with a stranger was a big deal. Thank you Tony for the work and putting it all back together like new!

Great experience! Tony asked a few questions, got some parts and repaired my dryer very quickly. He is a good communicator, making sure you know when he is on the way, how to use the appliance properly, and some preventative tips. And he is a very nice person.
