They did an excellent job, and for a very good price.

We had 2 palm trees that needed to be removed, and a huge redwood that needed to be trimmed. They did an amazing job!!

This company is great! Highly recommended and very affordable. They cleaned up after the job and left my yard looking great!

De La Cruz Tree Service company quoted less than the other companies from which I had requested estimates.

We had dead limbs with dead vines which grew over both our and our neighbor's back yards. Very large trees and probably 50 ft up. They were reasonably priced, did a fantastic job, and cleaned up so well a stranger would have thought nothing happened in the back yard that day. Worked very well as a team and got it done in about half the time I expected. Will recommend!

I just took possession of a house where the previous owner neglected so many things. Two trees needed significant pruning and they also hung quite perilously over the neighbors' yards. A third, dead tree needed to be completely removed and a fourth tree was just a mess and I wanted it ground down...

When we called for an estimate, Balter arrived on time when he said he would. When I finally was able to call to coordinate the job, he had my house scheduled and done within one week. I was a bit nervous because I unfortunately couldn't get off work while De La Cruz Tree Work would be there. And you know, anything can happen when you're not there.

When I arrived home later that afternoon, I was so happy with what I saw. My backyard had been transformed from a heavy, cluttered mass of branches to a light, airy space. The space seemed so much bigger... and undoubtedly cleaner. They raked the mulch chips around and did a bit of grading. They also spoke with my neighbor to let her know what they would be doing that morning. Balter's communication is exactly what you would hope. In the past couple days, I have taken such delight in sitting in my backyard. Totally worth it.

They did a great job cutting down the tree and cleaning up. I paid for them to grind the stump. I did not start the new landscaping until 7/13/2020 and found that the grinding of the stump was sub par. When I reached out to them they said they did what was required and they would come out and look at it. The landscaper on the job now, sees this all the time that the tree company does not do the job as needed and most companies send out the grinder to finish the job. I have called them and text them and now I am writing this to get their attention. I would like this taken care of immediately.

I wanted to let everyone know that they came back out a cleaned up the stump and completed the job to my satisfaction.

I hade 3 birch trees removed and had the stumps ground by Balter and his team. Great price, quick service. I called on Friday for a quote and they came out same day. I scheduled with them on Saturday, and on Monday the trees were gone!
The team was professional, careful, fast, and cleaned up very well. It took a little less than 2 hours for them to do all of the work. I highly recommend them if you are looking to have tree services done.

I obtained 3 bids to grind the stump and remove a 30-year-old Fruitless Mulberry pruned to a nub (no limbs or leaves). The tree was about 14 feet tall with a large girth. One of the bids was $1,700 – the guy must have seen my grey hair and assumed that I was senile. Another bid was more reasonable, but he was not a tree service guy although he advertised that he was (no crew, or stump grinder). De La Cruz Tree Service sent a professional looking estimator with a clean truck, wearing a De La Cruz Tree Service tee shirt and baseball cap (proud of who they are) with a professional bid sheet. They won the contract and they did an excellent job at a fair price. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to hire them again.

I highly recommend De La Cruz Tree Service. Balter (owner) runs a very efficient team, and his 23 years of experience are evident in the precision of work that he does. Had a 90 foot Ponderosa pine tree removed that was in close proximity of two homes. No issue for them.

Called 4 tree services in Elk Grove to remove a 40+ ft pine tree. Balter returned my call immediately, and their bid was $500 less than the other 3 services. He constantly emailed me to communicate date and arrival time. Removed the tree (which was over a pergola) without any damage and the area was completely cleaned up. 3 1/2 hrs.

I highly recommend De La Cruz Tree Service. Not only was their pricing competitive but Balter and his team are highly professional. I am particularly impressed because they were able to remove 2 redwood trees -- each 100 feet tall (!) -- with only limited space on one side of the trees near the house and ample preserved open space land on the other side. They also thoroughly cleaned-up the job site, including the use of a blower in the backyard and even the front sidewalk and street area where they parked their De La Cruz Tree Service vehicles. Today we had a 90 foot Ponderosa tree removed between two homes in close proximity.

With so many Tree Services around, nobody we found was able to beat De La Cruz Tree Service's price. The owner (Balter) and his teams work was very professional, on time and the cleanup they did was amazing👏.

I also have some Italian Cyprus trees that I need brought down. I won't hesitate to have them come back.

I recommend De La Gruz Tree Service.
Balter's crew cut down and ground up a 70 foot sequia and a couple junk trees for us. They ground the stumps to well below ground level and dumped all the chips (they chipped every bit of the trees) in our orchard for future use.
They did this this all in 7 or 8 hours.

Working with De La Cruz Tree Service was a breeze. They gave a fair estimate for the work to remove one large tree and to grind out several stumps. The crew completed in a timely fashion and cleaned up the excess chips and debris from the surrounding yards. Our neighbors after seeing the work decided to use them as well.

Just had Balter and his crew remove a 40 ft. Ornamental Pear from the back corner of my yard. I requested an estimate via the website and heard back from Balter almost immediately. He came out the next day and his quote was nearly half of what the arborist was charging. We booked with him and we were able to get an appointment for 2 weeks later. When he and his crew showed up, they got started right away. The attention to personal safety as well as care to make sure nothing fell in my neighbors yards and the fence and pool was quite remarkable. When they were done, they cleaned up everything. And I mean everything. They raked, use the blower, and even used the net to remove debris from my pool. I cannot even begin to explain how impressed I am. We've had to hire numerous contractors over the last couple years for various reasons and none of them compare. If you happen to read this, Balter - thank you to you and your crew!

After a helpful discussion, Balter clarified exactly what needed to be pruned for both health and safety. I knew then my trees were in good hands. The crew arrived right on time, worked efficiently, and treated the property with great care.

The results are beautiful — the trees look healthy, balanced, and ready for the changing seasons. They even took the time to explain that our trees are in excellent condition, which gave us real peace of mind. When they finished, the entire area was spotless — not a single branch or leaf left behind.

Sadly he scheduled 2 appointments and did not call or show up. I can't trust people that are not professional.
