My husband and I cannot recommend Remoca enough. Leo and his crew was great to work with. Attentive, friendly, and easy to work with. We came up with all the plans and designs ourselves and Leo gave his expertise to make our dream deck and kitchen upgrades come true.

I found Remoca by luck (I saw the company's truck near my property.) Leo is honest, professional, experience..he is everything you would want when you are looking for a contractor.

Leo is the consummate contractor. He and his team are courteous, professional, timely and responsive. ReMoCa renovated my kitchen and then, after the kitchen was complete, a bathroom. Both far exceeded my expectations. Leo has has an eye toward design while being mindful of resale and functionality. He and the designer I was working with occasionally had differing ideas but in every instance, Leo's ideas always seemed the better choice. I would highly recommend Leo and ReMoCa for any job!

We have used Leo and REMOCA for a number of projects over the last few years and have been very happy with the work they performed. Leo is very personable and does a good job of understanding what you want and providing feedback based on his experience to make your ideas turn out even better. All of his contractors are polite, professional and do excellent work. I highly recommend REMOCA for any remodel needs, small or large.

Leo's the BEST!!! We hired Leo Villaverde, of REMOCA General Contractors, to remodel our master bathroom. I found him on the web, he provided references ( which we checked out) and all seemed good to get started. Leo is everything you could hope for from a contractor. He did most of the work himself and coordinated any other contractor that needed to come in for the job. He is meticulous in his detail and knowledgeable of what he is doing. Always on time, leaves a clean workplace, very sincere and respectful, and got the job finished when promised. We have hired Leo for other jobs needed in our home and he will be "our contractor" for all future work needed. We couldn't be happier with his work and with Leo as a person. You will be very satisfied with the outcome when you hire REMOCA for your next project.

I am a Real Estate Broker and needed a Contractor to repair a leaky roof in Encinitas. I found Remoca online and Leo came in a timely manner and provided an estimate right away. He completed the job and I was impressed with his workmanship and that he cleanup up the area after he finished better than how he found it. I have a lot of bank owned properties that require different levels of repair or remodeling. I have now worked with Leo for over 3 years and confidently recommend him to clients and friends looking for a reliable trustworthy Contractor.

I stand by my words, because I have even used Remoca for my own home remodeling. In my business I come across a lot of Contractors, some are flaky, late, messy and unprofessional. Leo shows up on time if not early, respectful of your time and budget, and even makes professional recommendations that will add value to your home in the future. A true professional, that I am happy to recommend to anybody.

REMOCA just completed repairing our downstairs bathroom and we thought we would share our positive experience working with Leo and his team.

Our bathroom had experienced a previous water leak which had been repaired but the bathroom walls and door needed repair. The door wouldn’t shut and the wall near the toilet had seen better days.

I made a call to Leo at REMOCA to see if their company could repair the walls or if he would recommend a full bathroom remodel. Leo made a visit to our house, quickly determined that there were some repairs needed but we didn’t need a remodel. He made some sound, considerate advice based on his many years of construction experience and pointed out some design considerations that would really help in any future remodel.

During the construction phase, Leo’s team were on time as scheduled, professional, thoughtful of their surroundings. The workers were considerate and mindful that they were in a household - keeping their job site clean and doing a professional job with their repair. Our family was impressed throughout the timely process and its result.

We are happy with our repaired bathroom. The wall was repaired, painted and the door works correctly. Leo provided a detailed breakdown of the work, and both his price and timing were amazing.

We plan to use REMOCA General Contractors on any future projects.

Company is complete trash everything they do is absolute sham and I can’t even believe that. I met them In 2023 and they have been a nuisance since then. They came in our neighborhood to do remodeling in a brand new area or help them with whatever they needed. I scheduled an appointment for them to come and check out my backyard to put sod they never came then they made another appointment. They never came again so I stopped doing business after that point showing that they’re not serious from that point on they call me 5 to 6 times a day constantly after I told him not to call me anymore, but they call every day Monday through Saturday. I’ve asked numerous times to take me off your call list but they don’t this place is absolute crash and I’m gonna do what I need to do to make sure that they’re not doing this to anybody else. It’s absolutely unacceptable and not from a business I will ever do business with.

Schedules appointment with us, calls to delay close to meeting time, then get multiple stories of why they need to reschedule…. Short staffed, out sick, waiting on inspector. Would not let me politely end conversation, kept saying no, said these are red flags, we have moved on, thank you. Had to talk over many times and ended up saying goodbye over them and hung up. Nope, nope, nope

These guys do great work. Just a little hard to find their office. They are by appointment only.

I had one business deal with this company and the check bounced. It took me quite a while to get the money back. Then at our lovely Encinitas Christmas parade they bastardized it by entering eight vehicles as an advertisement for their company. This is a Christmas parade for the kids of our community and you abuse it. Shame on you

Ok, the good. Most of the work was done well. The bad. SLOW!
They kept blaming COVID. They had 6 full mos to make sure we had paint and flooring. We knew cabinets for kitchen would take a while. I get that. But there was no delay on floor lumber or paint at the time. We were told 'no problem' with our June 2 deadline (they were given this deadline in November 2020). We knew stuff would get done after we moved in. But we did not want to live in hotel.
We wound up living in a hotel for 3 weeks with 2 kids and 3 cats.
Electrical guy was a flake. Subs never showed up. Cabinets sat uninstalled for weeks.
    AND yeah, not cheap either.
So there are 3 things you want in a contractor: a fair price, on time, good work. I'm thrilled when I get on time and good work. Really!
These were not COVID delays. They took on another job 2 hours away and didn't have enough guys to work on both houses. I didn't have the energy to scream loud enough (2 kids). So here's my feedback now. If you are ready to ride herd on these guys, go for it.

John and Brandon are an excellent team. They are very knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions. They did an amazing job on my house ; and I would recommend to anyone

I'm really enjoying the extensive remodeling of my house (design through construction) by House to Home (H2H), especially my master bathroom, kitchen, and open living space, which were all reconfigured and were the main sub-projects (besides all new roof, windows, flooring, lighting, cabinetry, appliances, etc., all recommended and supplied through H2H). All the major design changes down to the minor in-process changes/adaptations that were necessary due to unforeseen issues, turned out more satisfying than originally planned. Having a single-contact project manager at H2H overseeing all the work from beginning to end also made it much simpler and easier for me throughout the process.
I wouldn't hesitate to use H2H again for any future project.
(Note: I waited six months after project completion before writing this review in order to provide feedback based on living in the remodeled house.)

After completion of my ADU, House to Home, a BOSS Company, proved that they could be trusted to do high quality work at a reasonable price. My project had a very happy ending!

House to Home did an outstanding job on our whole house remodel. John, Garrett and the team were responsive and great to work with and we now consider them our go to contractors. The workmanship was excellent and they kept us informed along the way. This was our first experience with a remodel and we realized how fortunate we were to partner with H2H after meeting and getting quotes from several other contractors. They are a pleasure to work with even when normal remodeling challenges occurred. Great customer service isn't about not having challenges - it's about how those challenges are handled. John and the team handled any challenges that came up with grace, professionalism, competence and friendliness. They were committed to ensuring we were happy with the outcome no matter what. We highly recommend House to Home.

I had a wonderful experience working with House to Home. I had very specific design requirements and a vision for creating my ideal shower and they worked with me every step of the day. Every part of the crew from the designers to the builders and project leads were very professional, communicative, and helpful in my project. Raquel and Steve in particular were fantastic at helping me and answered all questions I had. They were very honest about the timeline and delivered what they promised. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was not at all happy with this company until they came under new ownership. The previous owner was less than forthcoming and made a lot of promises that were never kept. All of the other people here at this company were great to work with.
We kept having to deal with repeated delays and different sub-contractors and it took over 6 months to build a 600 sq ft ADU. I had already contacted my attorney and was getting ready to file suit when I found out the company had been sold to Boss Construction.
After Boss took over, it was an entirely new and refreshing experience. They jumped right on it and finished everything within a few weeks. The owner of the company, Brandon, was a pleasure to deal with and did everything he said he would do. The new project manager, Joe, that took over our project, was also refreshing to work with. He came out and saw what needed to be done and had everything completed within a few days.
I would definitely now give this company the highest of recommendations. What started out as a prolonged and frustrating experience was turned into a pleasant one by the new owner and his team.
