Install-IT-Direct did a great job on our side yard paver project. They were very professional, communicated well, and followed through on their proposal. They also stood in contrast to another contractor who I had bid the job, who did not impress at all. In fact that was a big reason to go with Install-IT-Direct, who carefully measured out the area, provided a brochure with designs and paver options, and communicated a clear and thorough scope of work proposal.
They even promptly followed up after the project when an outside company had failed to pick up the extra pallets left behind. They immediately contacted the company and less than 24 hours later the issue was resolved.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who needs work done on their outdoor project. They were honest, professional, reliable, and the pricing was very reasonable.

Our backyard was completed about two months ago, and I am still in awe on the job Sarul and his crew performed. After purchasing a new home, we were looking to get ~1200 sqft of hardscape, retaining wall, planter wall, electrical, and drainage installed. I reached out and received literally 15 quotes with some quotes being outrageously high and others being so low I wondered if they knew what they were doing. Luckily though, I found Shawn at IID. Shawn is very professional and extremely knowledgable about his craft. He arrived at our house a few days after I contacted IID, and spent two hours listening to what we exactly wanted and provided some amazing suggestions. After measuring, sketching, and selecting supplies, he gave us a quote right on the spot (completely awesome as I didn't have to wait 2-14 days for a quote like others). Best part, he showed us pictures and examples of every project he has managed. That's right, we didn't just see pictures of "selected" jobs, but pictures of all jobs.

The price was also amazing. IID will give you 20% off since they pass the savings of buying directly straight to the consumer. Believe me, their prices are best you can find with the best service and quality. You truly will receive the best bang for your buck. After finalizing the contract, Shawn helped us out with the design to send to our HOA. IID check in on us every few weeks to see if we received approval, and once we did, they immediately started the job. We then had a walk through with Shawn and Sarul (crew manager) to go over the job, and Sarul had a few suggestions as well, which again, were awesome!. Sarul and his crew were amazing what they did as well. Sarul made himself available all of the time and promptly answered any questions. His crew was also very respectful to our house and property, and they cleaned up each and every day. I couldn't be happier. They were able to complete the entire job after 10 days. A few weeks later we noticed some small things (i.e. one small crack paver and one wall cap not glued), BUT after contacting Shawn, Sarul and his crew immediately came over in two days and resolved it (unbelievable service).

We receive compliments all of the time, and are still in awe with how our backyard turned out. We weren't planning on doing any more hardscape after this job, but now we are planning a second project in the next 1-2 years and will be reaching out to Shawn to complete it. 2020 Review:
We asked IID to perform a second job for us on the side of the house and requested Saul and his team. To continue our curves in the paver hardscape from the first job, we asked them to curve the pavers around each flower bed in front of each window. We knew this wasn't an easy asked since the flower beds were very close to each other. Amazingly, the job was unbelievable and completely surpassed our expectations. We receive comments all of the time about the amazing work. The price was great as well. I was extremely happy the first time and extremely happy the second time with IID. I wouldn't go with anyone else. Thomas was also a joy to work with and promptly answered all questions and made sure things went smoothly. Thanks again IID for everything!!!

By far, the best home improvement crew we have ever hired! From day one, we knew this is the company we wanted to complete the paver install in our front walkway and along our driveway. Emily was extremely knowledgeable about the process and designed a beautiful entrance for our house (which had been an eye sore for years). She even wrote a letter to our HOA to help gain their approval. Brilliant! Margarito and his crew were friendly, hard-working, and cleaned up each night before they left. They were even able to complete the install in just three days! We could not be more pleased with our experience with Install It Direct and the finished product.

I couldn't have been more happy to get my landscaping work done, and that too so beautifully - huge thanks to Install it direct! I wanted a very simple easy to maintain side yard for which time an budget was a deciding factor as much as were the options I had for making it look beautiful and functional. William worked with me to help pick the best options and get the design nailed down. Patrick and Jonathan took it from there and stayed in constant touch, worked patiently with me, and kept in touch till the work was done. They were always available to talk through any concerns or question I had. I got nice pavers, a retaining wall and a small patch of artificial turf which looks amazing. Work was done really fast and the crew was so hard working and I never saw them spend time on anything else while they were there. I would recommend INSTALL-IT-DIRECT to anyone who heartedly!!!

I would recommend Install It Direct to anyone if they are thinking of installing artificial turf. The salesman Dustin was great to deal with, pricing comparable and the installers were awesome and did the job in one day. Looks beautiful.

Very happy with the job they did on my backyard with pavers and turf. I thought they were fair on the change order when extra drainage issues came up. Took a little longer than scheduled but there were good reasons for that. I thought the project manager Troy McMillan was outstanding and the installation quality was great.

From inception to design and completion, Install It Direct paid attention to every detail and took the extra steps necessary to complete the project on time and within budget. Where many contractors would have skipped steps or taken shortcuts, Install It Direct really did a fantastic job, worked every day until complete, and cleaned up my property really well. We had received 5 quotes for our backyard. Will Thrower, from Install-it-direct, was refreshingly honest, no bs, tells it exactly as it is. No wondering if were on the same page & that was the primary reason for choosing this company. We've had home improvements done before. We've had the promises, cancellations, inferior products. Will was able to begin the process much earlier than originally quoted for, which was a Godsend for us since I run a doggy day care/boarding from my home and was expecting 2 more dogs to board in addition to our own 2 dogs. What was I going to do with 4 dogs and the back yard in ruins? Will came to the rescue!

Demo day went a lot faster than anticipated. The job was slated for 5 days, however, it ended up being 3 days! Woo-Hoo! We now have a beautiful backyard with pavers and grass again. I would definitely recommend Install-It-Direct for those considering any paver work, artificial grass (although we opted for real grass because of our dogs - there was no pressure to go with artificial, unlike previous quotes from contractors), built ins, etc. We've done enough for this years budget, but we'll definitely be going back to IID for more work that'll include a built in seating area and BBQ area. 1st photo is the before. Aaron, Thomas, and the entire Install It Direct team were absolutely phenomenal every step of the way. Our backyard renovation is exactly what we had hoped for. They were consulted of, flexible, and worked very quickly to get us precisely what we wanted. On top of that, these are some of the nicest folks you could ever hope to hire. This is our second experience and third project with him, and it’s been perfect for each time.

First impression is the key. Brandon with Install-It-Direct, showed up first thing Saturday morning, punctual, professional and with all of his equipment to do an estimate right there on site. After receiving 4 additional estimates from other companies, we opted for Install-It-Direct. Brandon and his crew, Tino/Francisco finished a 1500sf job in just 9 days. Technically speaking they finished in 5 days but it took 4 additional days to do the borders. There were quite a bit of cutting for the curve lines.

Finally, it was time for me to do something about my back yard. Got a few quotes, and IID ended up being somewhere in the middle. However, their paperwork presentation was the most professional, and the sales guy knew what he was talking about, and my wife and I picked up a few ideas..Steve was the manager and Walter headed the crew. The work was done well, and we are now happy campers! Check out the before and after pics attached. With all this beauty, the retaining wall looks boring, so I asked Steve for quote and ideas to beautify the wall. Way to go IID!

Thomas Jackson consulted with me to understand all the problems existing on the property. Expensive water bills, water puddling, erosion problems, and weed problem. Thomas offered up various ideas and solutions explaining all the pros and cons. Thomas has quite extensive knowledge about real estate construction and landscaping and I felt he provided many great ideas to solve all the problems. Thomas provided samples of the materials and let me know what the cost of all the options are. Never once did I feel like Thomas was trying to sell me anything, all pretty much just giving me all the options and letting me decide. Thomas provided a very competitive quote and broke out all the pieces separately so I could understand the cost.  Thomas also accommodated all the custom requirements I needed to make sure all the various projects going on would fit well together.  Thomas coordinated various projects and did them in a way to save as much money as possible, he is very creative and pays attention to details which is important in real estate projects. Thomas went way above and beyond what I expected which I'm very happy with the product and service he provided.

We completely remodeled our backyard three years ago and still love the result from Install-It-Direct. James was our project manager and he did a great job to make sure we are happy with the result. He is very attentive to our need because we want it to look perfect. Raul and his team did a great job with the follow up repair as well. Thank you guys!

Install-it-direct, did an excellent job with my yard. They work as a team, and keep you informed of the progress. Steve, Patrick, Jonathan and the team who did the work were professional, flexible and my yard looks fantastic. I wanted a drought free yard and I am getting compliments from neighbors and friends. Install-It-Direct did an amazing job.

They removed our old concrete patio, installed proper drainage, pavers, artificial turf, and a pergola (covered and with slats).

We worked with Emily who oversaw our whole project, from consultation all the way to completion. She was excited about helping with us from the first meeting. The initial consultation took a few hours, to go over everything and do measurements. She came back a day or so later with visuals and computer renderings to help us see what she was talking about. We looked at other companies and smaller vendors, and it either took too long to get ideas, quotes, or any information about these types of projects.

Saul oversaw the construction with his crew. They worked very hard and were very professional. Their work is great! During the construction process, Emily was still very hands on and came by almost everyday to check on progress.

One thing that I think would help, would be for either the company to go around to the neighbors and inform them of the upcoming work, or provide a flyer to the neighbors with information about what the neighborhood can expect during construction with contact numbers on it. We live on a cul de sac and they do have big trucks and a lot of equipment coming and going. I knew it was going to be major work, but never having done it before I did not know the scope.

If you are looking into having this type of work done, you can not go wrong with Install-It-Direct.

I got my small backyard done which was grass and not in s state that we could use it in summers (winters completely out of use).
John Campbell helped in Sales and design and he did tremendous job to meet us on pricing and work with us to make it a good value for the money we spent.
Once agreement signed, job started immediately and complete work almost 1K sq ft did not take more than 1 week. Delay in between was only waiting for material.
Patrick Diehl (PM) and Sebastien (Lead) took care to complete the work without any issues. We added standalone barbeque island (as a last min update) using our existing standalone barbeque and they worked with us to design and install it as per our satisfaction.

Chris and Troy installed hardscape, BBQ island, and turf in our front/back yard and we are very happy with the results! They were so easy to work with and brought their knowledge and experience to the table with great suggestions that improved our original plan.

We extremely regret hiring this company to install a retaining wall in the front of our house which fell on the ground after a couple months.

As most of the work they do is subbed out to other independent contractors, we got a really poor job starting with the retaining wall, which fell off within 2 months after installation. Want to know why? Turns out they were supposed to put glue in every row of the blocks they used, but since they were getting paid piece work (working from 7am to 7pm) they cut corners and didn’t put glue as they were supposed to.

Aron, the project manager, is really slow to respond, and After reaching out for more than a month, he finally came out to check out the fence that fell, he acknowledged the guys they hired didn’t apply the necessary adhesive, so he told us he would send somebody out to repair it. It took them another month to have someone come out and repair it. So for over 2 months, I had a whole fence laying on the ground, in the front of my house. That was the most embarrassing part every because I didn’t event want to invite anyone to my house and see that mess. Even the neighbors would criticize when seeing the fence laying on the ground. I attached photos of it for reference.

By the way, Aaron’s excuse to his slow responding was that he had no time to come out right away because he was managing several projects at the time, over inland empire, Orange country and San Diego. First thing I thought: “that shouldn’t be my problem” but apparently it was because when I reached out to the company for help, there was nobody else that could help me but this arrogant project manager that would yell at me for not understanding his lack of time.

Steve, the sales man, was no good either. He helped out through the sales process but after we signed the contract, we lost him! He didn’t communicate with his people right, the workers were disposing stuff that was supposed to be re used. The contract called out for installation of planters over the rocks. Steve provided the samples and options all last minute, the day before they were going to install the planters, and just told my wife that She had to make a decision now, and hopefully they had the stuff in stock. If they didn’t, he suggested that we can just do that at a later time by someone else.

It was a horrible experience all the way through. They were the most expensive out of all the quotes we got and the customer service is a total fail. Worst choice I ever made.

We hired Install-It-Direct for our backyard remodel project and could not have been happier! The work was completed fast and efficiently and within budget by Patrick Diehl and his friendly energetic crew. They made it all happen. They redid the landscape, installed paver stones, drainage, flower beds, raised beds, lighting, drip irrigation and a small drought resistant Dymondia Margaretae lawn. We needed and received frequent and effective communication throughout the process. This gave us confidence in the outcome. The new yard is awesome. We love it!

Steve, Patrick, Juan and the rest of the team were great to work with. They helped guide us through the process and were very professional. The team had excellent commutation and were very quick to respond to any questions, and the job was done promptly. They did great work and we are so happy about the transformation of our yard.
