Our garage conversion took a little longer than expected, but it made sense once we saw what needed to be updated. They replaced sections of the old framing, added insulation, and brought everything up to code before closing the walls. The unit now has a compact kitchen, a bathroom, and enough open space for a bed and seating. They also added windows to bring in more light, which made a big difference. It’s a straightforward setup, but it turned an unused space into something practical.

Dinner used to feel like a juggling act in that kitchen no landing space, awkward corners, and cabinets that didn’t hold much. They cleared it out and rebuilt it with a long run of lower drawers instead of shelves, plus a small island that doubles as prep space. Counters were measured and cut to fit tight against the walls, and the backsplash was kept simple so it doesn’t look busy. They also moved a couple outlets so cords aren’t stretched across the counter. Nothing flashy, just a layout that finally works.

The bedroom update was pretty straightforward, just needed a refresh. They took out the old carpet and put in new flooring, patched a few spots on the walls, and repainted everything. They also replaced the closet doors that were sticking and added a new light fixture. It’s still the same room, just cleaner and more comfortable to be in.
