GREENWAY LANDSCAPE DESIGN & BUILD, made my property an ABSOLUTE GEM! Breathtaking is the best words to describe it. They took the time with every detail to create a serene picturesque backyard & front yard home environment. My perfect oasis. For me it is a dream come true. Attention to detail is an understatement. My request was to make it match my personality, style and comfort. They hit the nail on the head. If you value BEAUTY, Tranquility and want exceptional customer service you can’t go wrong here. I interview over 15 companies and very pleased with the professionalism, quality of work. Scott, Alex, Eric, Jasmine, Steve and the entire Greenway family were great to work with. My request was a low maintained beautiful yard that didn’t look like any other in my new build neighborhood. 3 - D design was vert helpful and allowed me to make adjustments along the way. Before you make a decision on a landscape Designer make sure you give them a call. I am DELIGHTED with their craftsmanship and they are a CLASS act.

highly recommend Greenway for your landscaping needs. As new home owners we were new to this process and nothing but a dirt lot to start with. Alex brought his expertise and experience in and helped us every step of the way addressing all questions and concerns promptly and fully. His team did an excellent job expanding the concrete of our porch, adding artificial turf, rocks, pavers and decorative mulch as well as designing and laying out our drainage system. The service was prompt finishing within the time they estimated. Alex's attention to detail is also excellent as he spotted and immediately had corrected a problem area we didn't notice ourselves. Pricing is good for the market and you definitely get grade A service for it. Again I highly recommend them.

We worked with Greenway for our front yard project and couldn't be happier. Our Project Manager Lizette worked with us to help define the vision and was extremely communicative and responsive throughout the entire process. The crew showed up on time every day and were respectful of the job site. The turf and the pavers are beautifully done and a high quality. Our neighbors keep complementing us on how well it looks!

I have used Greenway Landscape twice. First I had them upgrade my backyard landscaping. They removed my dying grass and installed great looking artificial turf. They also trimmed and shaped a large bottle brush tree and installed wood chips around the base. During this process, they reset all of the decorative stone edging so that it is straight and level. I have a large hedge surrounding my yard. They installed an entirely new irrigation system to help me save water, while keeping my plants looking beautiful. My backyard looks so amazing that I rehired them to do my front yard, two weeks later! In the front, they leveled the edging, installed turf, and put wood chips in the flower beds. They installed drip sprinklers there, too. The absolute best part in my opinion, was that the company assigned a lead contact who followed both projects from beginning to end, answering my questions and making adjustments as needed. They were on time, on budget, and kept my yard looking neat throughout the process. What a great experience, and I love my yard!

We hired Greenway, after realizing our original contractor was completely inept and unethical. Greenway came in right after our backyard and a good portion of our front yard had been demoed. They were able to get up to speed very quickly and gave us confidence right away that they were doing an outstanding job. And they did!

The project manager that Alex (one of the owners) assigned to our project was Eric Lyon and he was extremely conscientious. He would call us every morning to confirm what was going to happen that day and let us know when he would be there. We could ask all of our questions so we always felt in the loop and part of the process.

The crews that came during different stages were all skilled and considerate. Always checking in with us to ensure we were happy with the results. We had extensive pavers installed, a large barbecue island, a patio cover, a new gate and turf installed as well. We also had them build a planter wall that they covered with beautiful Italian tile that we had chosen. They had to lay drains and install a new irrigation system so it was a big job. The gorgeous lighting that they put in truly showcases the beauty of the landscape.

Greenway just finished installing pavers in our driveway and front walk and we are THRILLED with the final result! We’ve had a million compliments from neighbors – it really looks great! Having undertaken a few large renovation projects over the past several years, I can attest that Alex and the Greenway team are top notch. They are fantastic for a few reasons. First, they do beautiful work. They are highly skilled with careful attention to detail. Mistakes in something like pavers are not easy to fix – any problems are permanent, so competence is key. The Greenway crew knows what they’re doing, and it shows! Second, they are professional. Alex, the owner of the company, and Eric, our project manager, were both very communicative and responsive. We had quick answers to all of our questions before, during and after the project, knew exactly when the project was starting, what the sequencing would be, etc. The crew came every day during the project and stayed from the morning until the end of the day. They were efficient, happy to answer questions, and very pleasant to work with. The office staff was polished and professional and made the process easy. Third, they are client focused. We came in with a vision (ish) of what we wanted, but not a ton of knowledge regarding what the options were. Alex was good at getting a sense of what we wanted, offering suggestions and guidance, but never pushing. We truly felt like it was a ‘pick what you like best’ situation with no hidden agenda or pressure. Eric, likewise, was knowledgeable, very easy to work with, and super helpful during the process. Where issues or problems popped up (as they always do during any renovation) he was unflappable and remained solution-focused – we felt like we were in good hands. To sum it all up, we had a fantastic experience with Greenway from beginning to end and would hire them again in a second!

Greenway did an expedient and high-quality job replacing the grass in my backyard with a putting green turf design. They utilized the area in the most ideal way by leveling and adjusting the grade along our sloped area. Plus, they estimated they needed about a week and a half to complete the work, yet they finished in less than a week once they got started. Definitely recommend Greenway and I'll be using them again for future projects.

My yard is on the smaller side, but Greenway Landscaping did an amazing job turning a landscape nightmare into something beautiful. I waited a while to post this review because I wanted to see how everything held up after a bad experience with another turf company.

Alex from Greenway came in and immediately identified all the issues. His project manager, Eric, was always present and kept me updated. They repaired a large sinkhole along the side of my house, replaced the water flashing along the house, replaced all the irrigation pipes, addressed drainage problems, re-leveled pavers, used the proper soil, and completely replaced the turf.

The turf installed by Greenway is still beautiful over a year later—the blades have maintained their shape, it’s soft, stays cool to the touch, has no drainage or sinkage issues, and does not retain any pet odor. In contrast, the previous turf retained odor despite following the other company’s recommendations.

Alex and his team, including his office staff, were professional, thorough, and extremely detail-oriented. I highly recommend Greenway Landscaping for their quality work, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Bryan from Elegant Landscape took on a job that was started by another landscaping company who didn't have the correct license needed by the City of Oceanside. His communication skills and can do attitude turned a frustrating project into a finished project that was done in a timely matter and constructed with skillful tradesmen. A job well done, in spite of city ineptness . I would definitely use Elegant landscape again

They were extremely accommodating when my neighbors each wanted a different slope treatment on the fence they built for us. They also did a great job on our French drain and our fence turned out looking really nice as well. On top of being accommodating and doing really professional work, everyone on the job was super nice. Our experience was awesome with Elegant Landscaping 😎

Brian and his team are amazing. I was concerned about coordinating a landscape company with a pool company and he made it so simple—even when the pool company was not cooperating!! If not for Brian and his family of employees, I would have been a total wreck hoping it all worked out. I’m not sure it would have turned out so well if not for Brian’s attention to detail. That’s the difference: Brian or one of his teammates was there explaining everything before they did anything, ensuring not only doing it right the first time but blowing me away with the end product. Cannot wait to see what they can do for our front yard!!!

Super happy with the backyard renovation by Brian and his team. We have dreamed of doing this for years and we now have the outdoor space we had always hoped for.
