I come here all the way from Temecula because they always have unique items I can’t find in regular stores and you don’t get lost in huge aisles like big stores. I appreciate the staff expert knowledge and great quality products. You can find everything you need for farming and gardening here from tools, irrigation supplies, beneficial insects, organic soils and mulch, shade cloth, etc. literally everything. It’s one of the few places you can get the right kind of diatomaceous earth and up to 70% neem oil. Really great location off Alvarado!

Have been in this location multiple times, service ‘iffy’ at best. Male customers always seem to be visible while women can wait interminably to be noticed. No one greets you as you enter. No asking ‘who was next’......no organization! Terrible way to run a business.

Super knowledgeable and helpful employees...competitive pricing and they carry California native plants from Moosa Creek! Oh! And you can find all kinds of hose repair and add-ons here you won't find anywhere else.

My daughter and I were treated horribly today. I had received a quote from the Fallbrook location for a summer youth project and wanted to see what the materials looked like. There was 3 customers in the store, the 4 staff never approached any of us. When I asked for assistance, the others looked our direction and kept walking, the older man did stop but when I asked my question, I received a cold “No! We don’t have it!” With no customer service, I have to take my business elsewhere.

They claim to be open to 4 pm, but at 3:57 from a radio linked time source, they had already been closed for so long that nobody showed anywhere, with all gates closed and locked - I only needed two minutes to grab my item and pay.. I have tried calling several times during what is published as their open hours, but nobody ever picks up. I have tried emailing the main office in San Diego, to ask if the Fallbrook branch is still in business, but have not yet gotten a reply. They may have simply closed down their business, but if not, they are unprofessional.

This more for landscapers so the parts and pieces to repair are more likely to be found here. Not at all like a chain garden center. Lots of great tools you might not find at a home garden center If you start here you will be happy that you didn't waste your time elsewhere. Note - this not so much a destination for a large selection of rows and rows of plants.

Ok, 3 times in a row I've received very poor customer service at the Fallbrook store. First time there must have been 4 people in line waiting for about 4-5 minutes and there were 2 cashiers alone working on paperwork while we all waited. There was no recognition of the line, no "Someone will be with you shortly" nothing. The last time I went in (and it will be my last time I go here) the customer service was rude, very little effort by them to assist or help. Too many other options to put up with this poor level of customer service! You lost my business!

Okay enough store. Very friendly and helpful people!
Just a very limited stock and selection, especially compared to other Grangetto’s locations. But what they do have is nice and priced fairly.

My friend was insulted by a male employee today. She was asking which moisture meter vs a ph meter would be a better purchase. He said to her "I use my common sense", and walked away. Considering my friend is brand new to gardening, and still learning, this was incredibly insulting. She is a long time customer and should not have treated in such a way.
Personally I think they are over priced and under educated.

You ask for citrus & avocado fertilizer, they recommend a expensive general 30-30-30 fertilizer instead of what you specifically asked for.

I went in to look for onions seeds for my daughters project. The gentleman working the register went above and beyond to help us. He didn't just show us where to go. He educated us. I have been a customer service manager for 15 years. That was true customer service. Very impressed.

Súper helpful! I believe the gentleman helping me was Donovan (or maybe something with a “D” lol). But he showed me around the store, was proactive, understood with fruits and veggies he was selling. Love this local store.

Always friendly and ready to help. I normally come here to get Hunter sprinkler parts for my home. The guys showed me how to adjust the sprinkler to get the best coverage and were just generally really cool. I’ve come here a few times now for specific things but during my recent visit, I decided to browse around a bit and see what all they had. It looks like they take a lot of care in choosing the products they carry. I didn’t see one item that I thought was low quality, and yet the prices are super reasonable. I would highly recommend!
