After we had three holiday dinners in December, our home in Fountain Valley smelled like a permanent fry-cook station. It didn't matter how much we aired it out, the smell of oil and spices was just trapped.

The Durastream guys told me that this happens with kitchen grease particles making their way into the return vents and getting stuck in the layers of dust. One good air duct cleaning and the smell of holiday ham leftover was finally gone. It smells neutral again, exactly what we wanted for the New Year.

We've had some very foggy, damp mornings in Fountain Valley recently, and I could smell something super earthy in the master bath. I thought it was mold.
