I had a very bad experience with side by side ,first my roof was done ,great job,Than needed AC got AC installed,1 month later side by side employee Named Antonio shows up asking for his share of the money ,My father who is considered a senior citizen,Does not want no issues,So writes him a check for 3,000 dollars,The check is a female name ,So at that point Antonio says he will come for the remaining 2,000 next week ,,My father gets a phone call from the contractors demanding money,He said he never got paid,He Threaten to call some one to put a lien on his home ,At point my father contacts side by side ,Side by Side is gonna investigate,and get back to us , Haven't heard back at all ,So please be well aware Of THE COMPANY SIDE BY SIDE HOME IMPROVEMENTS ,IN FRESNO , California

Side by side gave me the best option to replace all my windows, over 25 and sliding doors. At installation they paid attention to detail and communicated well, resolving any unexpected changes. A great advantage is the option of financing. I definetly recommend them.

We received multiple window & a door installations from Side by side. Raul Martinez-Ayala & Gregory Martinez were the employees who arrived. They provided very professional service. They were sure to do a walk thru at the end to confirm we were satisfied with their work & all questions were answered if any. We highly recommend their work.

DO NOT contract Side by Side Roofing! Look elsewhere. Our experience has been extremely frustrating due to their unprofessionalism, deception, and failure to complete the job. Here’s what we’ve dealt with:

1. Unfinished Roof & Major Delays
They removed our old shingles on May 28 and replaced wood on June 1. On June 14, they finally returned — but only installed about 30% of the new shingles, and haven’t been back since. It’s now been weeks with no progress.
• Our satellite TV remains disconnected
• Our solar panels still can’t be reinstalled

2. We checked with the CSLB and confirmed that Side by Side Roofing’s contractor license was suspended until June 14 — meaning they possibly began and continued work on our home illegally, without telling us. This is both deceptive and unlawful.

3. Lied About Inspection Delays
They claimed the holdup was due to waiting for a city inspector to review the woodwork. We personally went to the city permit office and learned:
• No inspection was ever scheduled
• An inspector could’ve come as early as the next day if they had actually booked one

This lie was clearly meant to cover up their licensing issues.

4. Poor Communication and Evasive Behavior
They ignore calls, offer no professional email, and constantly delay without explanation and/or excuses. The owner has been evasive and shows no urgency or accountability.

We paid them in full back in October 2024 and have been left with an unfinished roof, broken promises, and a numerous amount of lies. This company has shown a complete lack of integrity and professionalism. This type of works usually takes 2-5 days. NOT MONTHS. This has been a 8 month nightmare.

Avoid Side by Side Roofing at all costs.
