Love this nursery. Riverside is out shaw Ave West of 99, and if you don't know about it, you should. Excellent variety of plants and trees to fill your every need.

Wow, when Riverside landscape shut down their place on Grantland a number of years ago, I thought they were gone forever. If you go to the Riverside landscape that they’ve now made further out on Shaw Ave., in Biola you will see that it is awesome. They have everything there. It’s really a piece of heaven made out of dirt because a couple of years ago it was nothing but dirt out there now everything is out there every plant you could ever need.

We drove an hour to get to this nursery to possibly buy some large pots, my husband went inside to ask for help and to see if they had or could get any bigger than what they had on display. He was very rudely treated and told he wouldn't find any bigger in that color anywhere!! The woman employee just basically had no time to even try to help us. We'll turns out there is a Pot Imports warehouse on Hazel street that has a fantastic gentleman willing to help you find anything you would like. 11 large pots,one large pot fountain and $5500 later he got all our business. BIG MISTAKE on Riverside Nursery's part. Maybe you should teach your employees how to treat customers, you never know who is a worthy customer.

Well they don't deserve a whole star. Me and my husband went there today. The lady in the office was nice. But the gentleman in the office was not so nice. I asked him about a JFK white rose and told him Angela got me one years ago. He said no I don't have those. I asked could you order one he said no. What I have out there is all I have. Which was not a lot. So i will not be going back. Sorry Angela and Mitch.

I came in to get some shrubs for my front yard and Riverside did not disappoint. The staff were all friendly and helpful. A nice young man named Mitchel gave me valuable advice for what plants to get and their layout in my yard. Ask for him, he’s a pro!! Will definitely be coming back here for any of my landscaping needs.

This is a great nursery! I highly recommend them for bulk soil purchases. The only place in Fresno that sells bulk garden soil! They have a very large ornamental plant section with many types of varieties. However their vegetable section is quite a bit smaller. The staff is very knowledgeable while they are a tad prickly at first they definitely warm up to you. As a heads up they dont sell pots with the exception of large tree pots.

Generally self serve, so don't be surprised when you have to find what you need yourself. However, if you ask the staff in the office they're happy to answer any questions.

I'm happy to support a local business with respectful prices. Sorry Home Depot, this is my new plant source.

My husband and I have been going to Riverside nursery for years. They have a great selection of trees, bushes, and water wise drought tolerant plants. They have even let us return a plant that we mistakenly got the wrong one. So they swapped it out for the one we wanted. Very nice folks there. And knowledgeable about plants. If they don't have what you want they can order it.

I have spent a lot of time and money at Central Valley nurseries over the past years, including Riverside. I buy here because of the prices. The vibe and people and customer service is not as good as other places. They do a good job of marking their plants with names, sun and water requirements, so the people-oriented services isn't as necessary. The plants are good, and more than worth it for the price, but also the quality isn't always the best. The plants are generally taken care of well enough, and a good value, although I have bought some that turned out to have root rot. I planted anyway since they don't allow returns. It probably will be OK. I've not had problems with other plants except this one batch. Usually when plants outgrow their pots, Riverside puts them on special and you can get a great deal on some larger specimens in medium pots, sometimes with broken pots from huge roots. I've done this several times and had a good experience. I usually don't buy distressed plants, but I've found drought tolerant plants there on the "distressed" line, something that does not happen elsewhere. I bought most stuff at Riverside's regular price which is quite good. I've bought some good looking trees at great prices from them, as well as agave, yucca, grasses, and various other stuff. The prices here are good so I keep coming back.

Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the lady that helped us. But she was great. They gave us a little discount for some of the plants. We have bought plants here before and will be back

This is the first time I went to Riverside Nursery I was having trouble finding a rose called the sugar moon. And I was about out of resources to look at. I needed five and he found five I ordered them for me right over the phone he said they would be in in 3 days and they were in in 3 days it was helpful knowledgeable polite and courteous. And the nursery is beautiful they have a wide variety of plants succulents rose bushes and landscaping material. I recommend them 100%

So I got this huge boxwood for $18 and it was great ! Prices are reasonable and the layout is easy. It's a little off putting because you're a little on your own here. Find the carts by the front office and pick as you go. You bring the plants to the front where you'll pay.

Succulents are pretty affordable too. 2.50 for a huge 1" succ. Mondo grass , 6pk for $16. Good deals man. Will def be back.

As with many of you who plant vegetable gardens, I've become very frustrated with what's available in Fresno. The big box stores quality and prices are no longer acceptable. I didn't know Riverside nursery had reopened at a new location since being forced out by high speed rail. Yesterday, I discovered Riverside nursery had moved and are open for business. Their vegetable plants are beautiful with many different selections to choose from. They are nice and very helpful people. They also have trees, shrubs, and flowers. I highly recommend Riverside nursery.

This place has the best fruit trees and avocado trees. Also, their prices are reasonable and the staff is professional and knowledgeable.

I had a great experience here! I really can’t say enough good things! I had never been before, so I didn’t really know what to expect. When I arrived there was plenty of obvious places to park, then I just grabbed a handcart and started wandering around. A really friendly member of the staff came up to me and answered all my questions and kind of directed me as to what was where in the nursery. I ended up finding a ton of great plants for my garden like beets, lettuce, carrots, artichokes, and a bunch of great herbs. Everything was in really good condition and very reasonably priced, let’s just say I will never go to Home Depot or Lowe’s again to buy my plants and will be going back here!

What a joy it is to have a nursery in town like Riverside! They are open to the public. They sell to private individuals as well as commercial contractors. We came looking for fruit trees and found exactly what we wanted and even other varieties of fruit trees that we hadn't heard of before! Riverside has a large selection over many acres where you will find roses, shrubs, flowers, and a great variety of trees and other plants. All of the plants and trees were lovely healthy specimens and a good value for their size and quality. Shopping for the garden was so easy and safe here. We strolled the nursery outside in the sunshine with one of their convenient flat bed carts to carry our selections. The gentleman who helped us when we were ready to go was pleasant and helpful and wore his mask correctly. He was also knowledgeable and happy to answer my questions about a few of the flowers that I was drawn to. My husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. It was so peaceful and pleasant to be among all of the vibrant and healthy plants. We will be planting the fruit trees we purchased today and plan on coming back this week for more! Jose did a great job landscaping my yard. He such an incredible job from planting trees, plants, adding drip systems, and installing landscape lights. Highly recommended!

Claudio has been my gardener for 10 years. He does everything and does it very well.
Mowing, edging, trimming all of the rose bushes and shrubs in my yard. He even sprays for weeds. I always love how crisp and clean my yard looks every time he is here. He is amazing!!!

It is an excellent job, all clean and a great change of image in my house.
