About the business:
At Masterguard, we have been family-owned and operated since 1982. We’ve grown from a small, local business to one of the largest insulation companies in the Central Valley Area. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail, and it shows in the quality of work we do.
Our founder was behind the R rating systems for insulation and worked on establishing industry standards. He always focused on precision and quality—and we’re proud to continue that tradition.
We save people money on energy consumption by insulating their properties more efficiently than other companies do. We’re confident that when you choose Masterguard for your next project, you’ll get superb results at an unbeatable price.

Reasonable pricing, professional, clean work and great communication. I definitely recommend people giving them a call.

We had Masterguard remove all the old, dirty insulation from our attic, which also had a lot of debris from two prior roofing projects. Then they air sealed all penetrations and reinstalled new insulation. Our attic was truly a beast and the job was really tough, plus the days they worked were very hot. Patrick and Greg worked really hard to get the job done correctly and went above and beyond to make our attic bedroom and closet and the living space downstairs more comfortable. There were a few glitches along the way but it was to be expected with the challenging job. Patrick is extremely conscientious and really cares about doing the job correctly.

As I sit here at my parent's house not feeling hot, I am grateful that we chose to work with Masterguard.
After finding them on Yelp, I called and the next morning Gary came over, provided an estimate and two weeks later they were installing attic fans and insulation. Gary even saw the heat coming from the skylight in the kitchen and threw some heat deflecting film on it. After 44 years in this house, this is the first time it has actually felt cool and pleasant.
They did a great job from start to finish.
