Closets by Design - Fresno

My daughter wanted a bookshelf with a hidden desk for her 18th birthday and with a built in fireplace (that we had) They designed just that and it came out great! The desk at first folded down and the wood was too heavy, so it didn't work. They came out and fixed it with another design that lifts up, which is much better. My only regret is that I didn't have them plan for the ladder which we added afterwards. We love it!

Overall, I would give this business a 3/5 rating for an average experience overall.

The closet design and planning process went smoothly, and I was happy with the overall design. However, during the initial installation, the installer made changes to my design without discussing them with me first.

I eventually spoke with a manager regarding the issue. Initially, there was some pushback and little willingness to acknowledge the mistake or offer compensation. After discussion, they ultimately worked to make the situation right with compensation.

In the end, the closet turned out beautifully, as shown in the photo provided. I just wish the overall experience had been smoother and free from the unnecessary hassle.

Because of the quality of the final product, I would consider doing business with them again in the future. However, based on the interactions during the resolution process, I was left with the impression that they may not feel the same.

The closets by design team work well with you and your idea of what you want in your home. The free consultation gave us a good idea of how much it would be and what we could do with the space we had. I am very happy with what they did for us. It was a two day install but we had them do our garage, mudroom and classroom. I think they did amazing.
