Josh Stangby responded quickly to my request for more information about my backyard landscaping project. He set up a meeting the same day and arrived on time. Josh is a very professional, very likable young man. I enjoyed spending a couple hours with him discussing my vision, ideas, and budget as well as his process, ideas and suggestions. He explained in very understandable terms what Stangby Designs offers, the process and timeline, all of which seem reasonable and agreeable. Josh took his time in the backyard taking measurements and listening to my input. He took many photos for reference in drawing up the the first proposal. We recently moved to our new home near Millerton Lake on a 1/2 acre lot. Besides the pool as the focal point, we had a blank canvas, and didn't really know where to start. My wife and I generally know what we want, but we don't have that artistic touch to put it all together to create the estate of our dreams. After the first 10 minutes of talking with Josh, it was clear he knew what he was doing, and that he loved doing it. He was very thorough measuring out the property and taking diligent notes about our ideas. The first iteration he sent over knocked it out of the park. It was exactly what we were expecting.
