I am very disappointed with my experience with Cut Rite Tree Service.

I had an appointment scheduled with Joe for 11:00 AM. He arrived 20 minutes late, offered no apology, and instead stated that the appointment window was between 11:00 and 12:00. That was not the case, the appointment was explicitly set for 11:00.

I explained upfront that I needed to get a couple estimates for my company, who will pay for the work, before making a decision. I couldn't commit on the spot. Despite that, Joe proceeded to mark several of my trees with blue paint, apparently as markers for his crew. Painting a homeowner’s trees without a signed agreement is inappropriate and unprofessional.

Joe was also unable to provide an estimate on-site, stating that he would email it to me. I immediately texted him my email address. After waiting a couple of days with no response, I followed up by text. I could see that the message was read almost immediately, yet I received no reply and no estimate. To this day, I never received anything.

So in summary:
• Late arrival with no apology
• Blue paint left on my trees
• No estimate provided despite a follow-up
• No communication after reading my message

I will be reporting this experience to the Better Business Bureau. At this point, I would hope Cut Rite Tree Service at least offers to send a qualified arborist to remove the paint from my trees.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Joe from Cut Rite is fantastic. We’re a larger company in Fresno County with multiple facilities and they’ve never disappointed. Easy to work with and their pricing structure is fair. Call ‘em if you need ‘em, you’ll be glad you did.

Joe and everyone at Cut Rite provided great service. We got the estimate quickly and at a good rate. Our trees were cut and removed just as we discussed and everything looks wonderful!

We had two 30 year old Redwoods that are lifting the sidewalk, driveway and too near the sewer/water meter. Used Yelp to get multiple bids and not only was JOE at Cut Rite Tree Service the best price but had the best customer reviews. I can see why!! Excellent communication, prompt and that’s not all, the two man team with foreman Raphael were VERY committed to quality work did above and beyond my expectations. I added them to my call list and highly recommend this local company!

Joe and the Cut Rite Tree Service team are amazing. We had massive redwood trees in our yard along with other trees that had damaged our hardscape and pool area. Joe and his crew knew exactly what to do and did an excellent job removing them. We were delighted with the results. Highly recommend them!

I needed emergency tree services after a large branch fell. Cut Rite Tree Service Fresno responded the same day and had everything cleaned up quickly and safely. The team was courteous and worked around my schedule. They also did a complimentary inspection of my other trees and gave me some helpful maintenance tips. Excellent service and very reasonable rates for emergency work. Will definitely be calling them for regular tree maintenance going forward!

If I could give 100 stars, I would! These guys were amazing! They were professional, efficient, neat and took care not to leave debris in my neighbor's yard.
They cleaned up after themselves amazingly well and even had an obstacle that they were able to overcome. We had a redwood tree with a boulder to the side of it that we tried to remove and weren't able to. These guys also weren't able to remove it, but found a solution to grind the stump enough so the tree won't grow back.
I can't brag enough about what a great experience this was! I really hated losing three of my big redwoods, but they were damaging cement and my pool area. Cut-Rite got this done in one day at a very reasonable price and Richard was awesome!
Thank you to all the guys who came out and did all the hard work! My husband and I sincerely appreciate it!
I would recommend Cut-Rite to everyone who needed anything done from tree removal, pruning, stump grinding or anything.

I had 3 trees removed and 2 huge avocado trees trimmed. Very nice guys who did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. The price was very reasonable. I would recommend to anyone.

I can’t say enough good things about Joe, Richard and the whole team. Communication was excellent with Joe, and the price was very fair.

Richard and the guys at my property were nothing less than amazing. I have very tender “breakable” species of plants, flowering bushes, everywhere under the two trees having about 8’ removed, deadwood, and shaped. The one tree was massive and a safety concern covering half the street, my neighbors driveway, and half of my driveway.

I was worried but accepted that my yard and gardens would be devastated bc these overgrown trees had never been managed in their lifetime.

After half an hour of watching the guys work I knew I was in good hands. These guys have their process down like a married couple that finish each other’s sentences. With massive rigs on site, they expertly executed every part of the job with each other from start to finish. They were like a well orchestrated symphony! Without words they would jump in to do start their piece of the work, then the next would jump in to perform his part, or to assist as needed. My yard had just been mowed and groomed the day before… I accepted that it would be damaged and messy. Not! Not a trace of them even being on site by the time they left. I mean really?! Sidewalks and driveways clean, the street cleaned, including the street of any neighbors surrounding my house. My freshly groomed yard, and soft bushy flowering plants all untouched! I’m still wrapping my head around how that’s even possible, the expert level of working together and companionship they must have. This company’s service and integrity is a unicorn in today’s world, and I 100% recommend them!

We've used them twice now. They did wonderful work on a number of different, very overgrown trees, clearing dead branches, removing ivy, reshaping. We are delighted with the people and the service we received and plan to have them back again in the Fall. Great value for money!
