Bolt Electric/Patrick did a great job troubleshooting and making a couple of repairs at my house today. On time and professional. Will definitely call again when needed.

For my home remodel I hired Bolt Electric to replace our old electric panel, install a secondary panel and replace all wiring, outlets and lights in the home. Patrick and his associates are extremely knowledgeable and were pleasant and easy to deal with. The quality of works gets an A+ was completed on time and stayed within budget. I would highly recommend using Bolt Electric.

Bolt Electric has provided over a decade of reliable service in upgrading and maintaining a large, old, industrial property. Most of what I had done I was able to do remotely with just a phone call. Patrick was not only delightful to work with, but also quick to understand my needs, sent me photos to assist our communications, and helped me understand situations that were unfamiliar to me. Had an issue with the main electrical panel that left half of my house without power. After calling SCE and determining it was the connection plate for the meter, I called Patrick. He was at my house just 30-45 mins later! He assessed what had to be done, went and retrieved the needed parts and had my power back up in just about an hour. Excellent service and communication at a reasonable price. Bolt Electric is my go to now.

He answered the phone after hours on Christmas Eve and immediately responded to my electrical outage emergency, saving me from a cold, dark Christmas weekend. Called Bolt out to troubleshoot one of our wiring boxes. He showed up in a timely manner and had it fixed in no time. Gave me a fair price as well. Would definitely recommend. I would use there services again if needed..

I made arrangements with Patrick McDowell from Bolt Electric for a job at my home. We agreed on a price, and I even offered an extra amount as a gesture of goodwill. However, the entire experience went downhill from there.

We set an appointment for 10 am the next day, and I was on my way back with the cash payment when, at 10:03 am, Patrick texted me to reschedule for the next day because he claimed there was a van blocking his access. I immediately clarified the location, explaining the misunderstanding, but he had already decided to leave for another job without attempting to verify or resolve the issue.

Upon my arrival at 10:08 am, I confirmed the van was parked two garages down, not obstructing the intended spot. I reached out to Patrick, but instead of addressing the confusion like an adult or at least being professional by calling to clarify, he abruptly hung up on me.

The sudden change from the cordial behavior the day before to this disrespectful attitude was shocking. I expected better communication and professionalism from a service provider. Patrick's behavior was utterly unbecoming of a service professional.

In summary, the lack of communication, failure to verify the situation, and abrupt departure without attempting resolution showcased unprofessional behavior. I regret having to leave this review, but the conduct displayed by Patrick McDowell was disappointing and unprofessional.

I’ve been working with Patrick for years and he always does a fantastic job. He’s completed 10+ large scale jobs for my company and has never let me down! He’s responsive, flexible and fairly priced. There have been a handful of times I’ve needed Patrick to communicate with other electricians in other states to share his expertise. He’s the best and we will continue using him for all our electrical needs!

Bolt electric was extremely professional and everything that they did at our home. Patrick help document a problem with the installation of our air-conditioning system years ago. We were able to recover a significant amount from the installation company due to a unsafe electrical installation back in 2015. I would highly recommend Patrick as an honest, hard-working and Fair with everything he did at our home. Patrick installed a new 200 amp electrical panel, six insignificant electrical problem from our earlier air conditioning installation, replaced all of the wall outlets and switches in our home and replace a corroded electrical conduit and wiring to our pool.

Patrick is an awesome skilled professional electrician. Although he experienced challenges with the task of an older home, he followed through in his commitment, using his years of experience to ensure customer satisfaction in making sure job was done according to code. Job was done neatly and correctly and approved by county through its permit process.

Bolt Electric helped me with my home’s power going out on a part of the house. Quick to respond. Upfront information. Can tell they are experienced in their field. Issue was fixed and will use them again in the future

Patrick was very professional, polite and informative. He determined Edison needed to be called to Check power to kitchen and garage.

Patrick helped us figure out what the issue is with our new automatic kitchen faucet by checking the plug outlets under our sink and our fuse panel. He was professional and knowledgeable. We would contact him again if we needed his services.
