So happy to have gone with Horizon Construction for our major kitchen, and 2 bath, remodel project.! From the first meeting with Mark, the owner, I felt that he was trustworthy, knowledgeable and fair. He, and the Horizon Construction crews, did not disappoint. Communication with Mark, Enna, and the office staff were admirable. Mark’s design expertise was very helpful. He met all of our wants & needs. Our kitchen was taken from a poorly designed eyesore to a beautiful space. We had major structural work, removal of load bearing beams and steel moment frame, installing three steel beams at the ceiling to create an open floor plan. We completely changed the footprint of the kitchen. Custom cabinets turned out beautifully! The materials purchased through Horizon Design were of high quality and sourced in a timely manner. Workers were friendly, arrived on time and cleaned up at the end of each day. We were so pleased with the kitchen that we added on two bath remodels which were completed along with the kitchen. Thank you Horizon for delivering a quality space which we are happy to invite our friends & family to. We will enjoy the beautiful kitchen & bathrooms for many years to come!

We were referred to Horizon Construction and Remodeling from my sister's coworker at Houzz for a full kitchen remodel. Our consultation went wonderfully and we felt very comfortable with David. He did a great job explaining their company and the process for our kitchen remodel. He was able to take all of our ideas for the kitchen and make them a reality. He was honest and helpful throughout the whole process and we did not have to stress about all the things you hear other people having to go through during a remodel. He was quick to respond to any emails, calls or texts. The only thing I wish we would have received without asking for was a weekly schedule on what was happening each day and who we would be expecting at the house and what time so we could plan ahead as full time working parents. Overall we were very happy with every contractor who worked on the kitchen! We do not have one complaint about any of the people that came into our house throughout the remodel. We would highly recommend Horizon to our families and friends for any future remodeling and would us them again in the future. We feel that we now have our dream kitchen thanks to the team at Horizon Construction and Remodeling.

After shopping several companies, we chose Horizon Construction and Remodeling for our home improvement project, which was to enlarge and update our kitchen and main bathroom. In addition, we converted all of our flooring to vinyl.
We are extremely happy with the service, responsiveness, dependability, and the results Horizon provided. David Eskin was our project manager. David became a consultant and friend during the process. He proved to be patient and honest when we encountered an issue with the granite installation for our kitchen. We upgraded our material to a beautiful and unique Brazilian granite for our kitchen counter. Our initial granite slab cracked 3 feet across the width of the counter 2 days after installation. David and his crew reviewed the issue and, without hesitation or argument, removed the cracked granite and replaced it with a new slab at their cost. Although this experience was extremely stressful for all, the integrity displayed by David and Horizon was stellar and unique in the construction industry. Contractors are easy to find, but an honest and dependable one is rare in our opinion. On this experience alone, we would recommend Horizon Construction and Remodeling without reservation. They made it right.
All construction is stressful and we lived in our house during the remodel. This project was our first in this home, but our fourth major reconstruction in our 45 years of marriage. Horizon was by far the best remodel experience!

I had the pleasure of working with Michaelangelo from Horizon Construction & Remodeling. Let me start with some context, my project was an 11 out of 10 on the difficulty scale. What started as a kitchen and living room remodel of a 1925 hillside home, turned into a full tear down and rebuild due to framing that turned out to be beyond repair when we were in the demo phase. My hillside city is notoriously difficult to work with, however, with persistence from the Horizon team (contractor, engineer and draftsman), we were able to get the sets of plans for a re-build house and two 85-foot retaining walls through the city’s planning and building departments.
What I really enjoyed with Horizon, is due to my budget constraints, I could not afford a full-blown architect and a separate interior designer, instead they had a unique in-house solution. They had a draftsman and engineer team for the plans, and I worked alongside the contractor to share my ideas on overall layout, door and window size and placement, fireplace location, and the bedroom and bathroom sizes, to get the plans right before we submitted them to the city for the approval process. They had all the know-how to comply with the current building standards, from seismic/earthquake proof strong walls, foundation and footings, and ultimately to were able to handle curveballs to meet certain requirements in my area (high fire risk and hillside).
One of the things I loved about Mike was his team. His subcontractors were amazing, second to none. If I had a picture or a hand-drawn sketch, his Horizon team could bring it to life. I created an idea book with pictures I liked and had a binder on site, and Mike and his team was able to execute to perfection. He sketched out the cabinets, the islands, tile schemes, fixtures, and the images we put together came to life. Mike’s hand-on approach turned my house from a dilapidated 95+ year old structure to a home design “magazine-worthy” home.
We went up to 10 foot ceilings throughout, cathedral ceilings with an open concept in the kitchen and living room, extended master bathroom and closet, along with the 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. We also did two 85-foot long retaining walls, and over 1,500 feet of concrete flatwork and 3 exterior concrete staircases.
Horizon turned a potential high-stress home rebuild into a masterpiece of home for my family. I cannot recommend Mike and Horizon Construction & Remodeling enough! It definitely was a lot of work, and it was not built in day, but I will forever be grateful for my forever home! When it was all said and done, I believe their pricing was extremely fair and I am positive I got great value for the money I spent.

We hired the company to remodel our 1971 Kitchen to bring the water and electrical systems in it up to code. We’re very happy with the outcome. David Eskin was our project manager. He kept us informed and updated since we were still living far from our new home. Overall, the project was done on budget and in time. We will definitely hire Horizon Construction and Remodel of Fullerton, California again if another project crops up

The attic access is added as promised. Looks great!

I hired Horizon to do a 500 sq ft home addition in 2003. While there are some hiccups, overall I am satisfied with the quality of the work and confident that the structure is sound. Just ensure you include absolutely everything in the contract as it is much easier to negotiate before you sign. I am particularly pleased with the work of Nestor (painting and molding guy) and Jason (electrician) but disappointed that we can't move the furnace. They gave you a very clear estimate and broke down the payments in many phases which I appreciated. The communication with the project manager Michael was good but you did need to utilize your negotiation skills.

I got a lot of compliments from the neighbors passing by my house and it was wonderful to move back to my familiar but better home. I am now waiting for them to add attic access which I didn't realize I needed (but was included in the project). Hopefully, it will be done soon.

We first worked with Horizon Construction & Remodeling back in 2012 for our kitchen remodel, and we were absolutely thrilled with the results. So when we finally saved up to do our master bathroom, there was no question—we went straight back to Horizon.

Mark was our project manager, and we couldn’t have asked for better guidance. He has a true talent for design and helped us with every little detail—from picking the right materials and colors to making sure everything worked beautifully together. He has a great eye and the imagination to visualize exactly how the finished space will look, something we definitely needed help with!

Before moving forward, we did get a second estimate, more as a formality after some advice from our financial advisor. But honestly, we already knew we wanted to go with Horizon. Their quality of work, reliability, and professionalism stood out then and still does now.

Now we're already thinking about what project to tackle next—and when we’re ready, we’ll definitely be calling Horizon again!

I contracted with Horizon Construction & Remodeling to remodel my kitchen, which included all new cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, appliance installation, and lighting, plumbing, and electrical upgrades. Horizon also replaced cabinets in the dining room, removed blinds, and patched and painted several rooms. David was our project manager.

I highly recommend working with both Horizon and David. He provided an accurate estimate for the work, started and completed the work on time, and was always pleasant and responsive when I had questions. It was my first experience with a kitchen remodel and David proved to be patient and kind, never making me feel like my questions were silly or naive. He responded to all of my texts promptly and delivered on every one of my requests.

The craftsmen employed by Horizon were professional and skilled. They did a fantastic job, and cleaned up as they went along. Horizon also operates a showroom in Fullerton, so I was able to see options in situ, not just small samples. David and everyone I met in the showroom were knowledgeable and friendly. They listened to me, made a real effort to understand my aesthetic, and then made great suggestions.

The entire process from beginning to end (3 months to the day) went just about as smooth as one could hope for such a large project. When it comes time to remodel our bathrooms, I will be calling Horizon again!
