I had them install a 14 panel system on my new dwelling in May of 2024; It was smooth sailing from the start!

To start, you gotta know what you’re looking for: Do your own research on YouTube. Then, reach out to other companies but don’t let them sell you anything ( just educate yourself and see what your house needs are) then, kick them out your house. Lastly, reach out to Solar optimum, and you’ll appreciate them. Their transparency and great prices with financing and all. We ended up buying ours so it didn’t matter, but we saw how other companies were price gouging for the basic panels and inverters:

Not to mention the set up and the support throughout the permitting and installation. So far, I have recommended them to two different family members and it worked out for them too.

Optimum Solar was very professional with their services, keeping me informed of the steps as progress was made from initial contact thru development of how many solar panels I would require to give me the results I was looking for, the storage batteries needed, and the choice of power during blackouts or
My choice of providing my own power via generator through the Right to power up my system. The technicians were top notch and answered all my questions during the installation.

Every possible aspect of our solar installation by Solar Optimum has been excellent. Their price was 1/3 the price quoted by the company handing out brochures at the membership warehouse store. They continuously beat their estimated schedule from design, through permitting, to material deliver and installation. Even the permission to operate from SCE was faster than promised. The system has been operating for over 5 months. The monthly saving exceed my estimate. With the tax credit, my payback period to recover the net cost is approximately 3.5 years. Finally, their customer service is top notch. Every question I have had has been answered very quickly with a customer delighting result.

Before going with Solar Optimum we shopped around with many different companies. Ultimately they gave us the better offer with price and warranty. Mike was great during the process as well, he directed us to the right people the talk to during the whole process. Overall good team, good people we’ll wait and see over time the effects on our bill.

Though there were a few hiccups with my re-roofing project due to third party vendors, both Jason and Jose handled all my issues promptly and professionally. I recommend Solar Optimum.

I had a great experience with Solar Optimum. From the start, they were professional and friendly. They gave me a written estimate and it was accurate. They were very helpful throughout the entire process. They handled all the details and I had minimum to do. Installation was great, support was outstanding. Always answered my questions in a very timely manner. The only snag we ran into was the county here. But Solar Optimum got it taken care of. Definitely a great company to work with. I'm glad I chose them for my solar system. I received great products.

I purchased my solar panels from solar Optimum about seven years ago. Every time I’ve had an issue they have given me excellent customer service and honored the Warranty. I highly recommend purchasing solar panels for your home if you’re a homeowner. After they pay for themselves, they keep on paying you.

I can't recommend Solar Optimum enough. We got estimates from the top providers in our area and Solar Optimum was the clear choice. Great experience with Solar Optimum for my Powerwall install. Their communication with me is best I’ve experienced with any service…email or phone recall within a day or two. Install was done on time and very professional such that inspection was approved the first time. It’s been a couple of weeks and everything is working so far as planned. Very pleased with the work and I highly recommend this company.

I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience with Solar Optimum. I had received a quote from another company and fortunately I didn't go with the 'other guys' because Charles from Solar Optimum found some discrepancies in THEIR plans that would have cost me time, money, and a total nightmare. After bringing this lack of communication issue (or so) to the other company’s attention, they apologized for the oversight. I can't thank Solar Optimum enough! From the initial quote to the solar installation and through to commissioning day, the staff was extremely helpful and professional, answering all of my (probably naïve) questions. Jessi and the entire Solar Optimum installation team remained in contact with me through the whole process and kept me updated on its progress, which I appreciate. The craftsmanship is great, no roof leaks during California’s recent much needed heavy rain/flood season. Jessi even took the time to show me photos of how they sealed any exploratory holes and took care to ensure the system would hold up over time. Flawless.

Solar optimum is an excellent company to work with at every level. Beginning with the sales person who is extremely knowledgeable and explained all of the equipment in detail as well as the benefit their state of the art equipment will provide to your home. The lending partner for solar optimum is also super easy to deal with and they made the lending experience both fast and smooth. It was an absolutely no stress transaction. The installation team are an experienced group of Master technicians who installed the equipment in 2 days and made sure that the system was working properly before they turned it over to me. All in all I rate solar optimum a 10 for sales, financing and service and highly recommend them because of their fair prices and excellent service.

It took me 3 months to research and evaluate Solar Companies before I came across Solar Optimum. It was not so much about lowest price wins the deal but actually the technology behind it. So I probably had 3 to 5 estimates with the top installers in my local area of Long Beach and 2 from Los Angeles area. So I met with Eric from Solar Optimum and what really blew me away was that he offered a product that just came out that month I had my Solar installed, other competition still were processing it and were not available. Lastly another thing that stand out was that their warranty was pretty intensive up to 25 years while the competition only wants to do it for 10 years.
Installation had no hiccups. Another key factor in any installation is communication. Updating or telling the installer your concerns in advance helps the process. Eric guided me with the process clearly. The city inspection was smooth and no issues. I had an upgraded 200 amp panel too in the process since my panel was 100 amp. The installation was very clean not only in the roof but my main panel area. I also had stucco work done because of my newer panel, but they also have a masonry specialist to clean up any work after. He even match my wall paint after the stucco repair.
