I wanted to get a deep cleaning done on my apartment and was referred to Pink Sponge. I thought I’d give them a try. Bryan cleaned my apartment today. I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 1037 sf apartment. He did an excellent job and was in and out in a little less than 3 hours. I would highly recommend this agency if you are in need of a cleaning service.

This is our second time using Pink Sponge. Jannis has been to our home both times and she is amazing!! My little dog is very sassy and she is so kind about it! The customer service top notch as well. A+

Emily was awesome. Came in, did a walk thru to confirm what needed cleaning, what was priority, and then went to work getting the place cleaned up. Just before the time, also let me know so we could confirm whether to continue or stop.

The cleaner was a very nice guy but for 3 hrs of work, more work should of been done imo however after speaking with Jennifer, she made it right and worked with me on price. I tipped him $5 for his courteousness.

Update to review: I have been refunded my money, and was contacted on a Sunday to do so.

The relationship of giving someone your card info prior to rendering a service has to involve trust, FIRST! You trust that they will render the agreed upon services at a standard that is consistent and acceptable in exchange for payment. I have been working with pink sponge for 7 months and we have only hit that mark with two in home cleaning providers. The rest have been mediocre at best. But, that is not the ONLY reason for the one star. The one star clearly is because the technicians aren't cleaning properly but what isn't reflected here is how pink sponge predatorily gouged my family and I during a very fragile time in life. My husband's father passed and 10 days later his mom is in the hospital w a stroke so we haven't been monitoring the billing by pink sponge and when we finally looked... THEY HAVE CHARGED ALMOST $1000 to our cards respectively on those 10 days!!!!!!!!!!! We have only had one service, so where the charges stem from we do not know. We reached out to them and cannot get a call back, we have texted and called plus email. There is an honor system involved with auto pay which most companies use an automated system to complete to prevent double charges and mistakes. But, I can confirm without a doubt that pink sponge does their charges manually and doesn't verify that they haven't misused a good hardworking families funds. When I say we are looking to get our money back and part ways it's being kind. Imagine trying to purchase your father's burial suit and your card gets declined because of a cleaning service who won't return the call AND you had to do touch up cleaning to your house before going to visit your mother in ICU. Like I said, the staff isn't aware of the impact of over promises and under delivery. Jennifer the owner's daughter or the owner is my request on getting the financial debacle resolved asap. I have called and emailed plus texted you all. Hire experienced techs and be responsible with people's money. It is the right thing to do. Forget the cars with eyelashes, just get the cleaning done right at the agreed amount. The frivolous things aren't necessary.

As a side note, I should mention. I had a woman come to my home from pink sponge who was larger is stature who cleaned my entire downstairs by spraying cleaving solution on the floor and placing a towel on the floor then using her foot to push the towel around to dry the floor. Yes an entire floor of a home that way. Additionally, there was a tech who came to my home the day that the attached pictures were taken and she all of a sudden began acting strange and moving quickly on 4/20/23 and the disappeared before 4:20pm. She did say a word prior to leaving. The next day I contacted pink sponge about the disappearance and was told the tech did not feel good, "...she's human."

Again not experienced enough for the price they charge and CERTAINLY don't take responsibility for the work when brought to the attn of leadership.

Amazing job! Our house was a one time clean but after such a great outcome I HAD to set up as a recurring customer it is outstanding service here

We had the absolute pleasure of having Clarissa from Pink Sponge Cleaning Services clean our home today, and we couldn’t be more impressed with her work. From the moment she arrived, Clarissa was warm, professional, and clearly committed to doing a thorough job. She came prepared with all the necessary supplies and immediately got to work with incredible focus and energy.

What truly stood out was her attention to detail—every corner, surface, and space was cleaned meticulously. She didn’t miss a single spot. Our kitchen gleamed, the bathrooms looked and smelled fresh, and even the little things—like baseboards, windowsills, and hard-to-reach places—were spotless. She took extra care with delicate items and arranged everything with thoughtfulness and care.

Clarissa was also respectful of our home and our time, working efficiently without ever making us feel rushed or in the way. She was friendly, easy to talk to, and clearly passionate about providing high-quality service.

We are beyond grateful for the outstanding job Clarissa did today. Our home feels refreshed and truly clean in a way that only a professional with pride in their work can deliver. We will definitely be requesting her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-tier cleaning services. Thank you Clarissa!

We have enjoyed Pink Sponge! They are easy to work with, schedule, reschedule, etc., and communication is great. The last two visits we’ve had Christian come and clean and he’s done a great job and is great with our anxious pup. We look forward to more cleaning sessions in the future!

We love Pink Sponge! All of the team members are great! Jayden did a great job at our place and went the extra mile in making everything sparkle. He also left such a nice note after he left and even though we weren't there, we could tell he was careful but also was very thorough. It was so nice to come home to a job extra well done. Bryan was super nice and did an awesome job cleaning our home. We’re really happy with the service! He deep cleaned our floors and curtains, and the whole process was smooth and easy. They even did a walkthrough at the end to make sure we were happy with everything. Definitely recommend!

I recently moved and decided to get a cleaning service. I’m so happy I chose pink sponge. Maddy was our cleaner today. She did a phenomenal job and the house is much cleaner than when we moved in two weeks ago. We opted for the bronze once a month clean to help us maintain a clean house. Thank you Maddy. Never will I come again to this place. The girl who cleaned my house looked like she was 12 and she just walked around not doing anything for 3 hours. She was able to clean my bathroom at the last minute for 10 mins. I told her and showed her what i expected and she did not come in with an intent to work. She looked forced to be here. I am a good person and paid my due, I super wish you guys give me my money back. $280 is what I paid. Nothing got done but my floors, fridge and bathroom. Very very displeased with the service.

DO NOT USE. I used this company because I wanted to support a small business and they had a competitive price, but it seems they are purely about money. Over the phone we discussed sending two cleaners and a rough timeline/price (I understand they’re always going to add on more hours and not seeing it in person is hard to judge).

The day came and one cleaner showed up to clean a 2,000 square foot house. The house was completely empty and I needed it ready for the next renters the following day. Long story short, instead of the rough estimate of 4 hours on site for about $300, it turned into a 9 hour day with a total cost of $630! Maybe if they would’ve sent the two cleaners like they said, it could’ve been done much faster and not cost as much. Dont’t give an estimate to a first time customer if you’re going to end up charging them more than double. That’s deceiving and not good business.

I was not happy when the manager kept calling and texting me to see if I wanted “to add another hour” so the one cleaner could finish cleaning the rest of the house. Of course I’m going to say yes; I have renters coming in the next day and needed it clean for them.

It was pretty ridiculous and after the third call/text I told the manager to just have the cleaner finish the job. I was not happy they sent one worker to a residential “move out clean.” The house was left in great shape by the previous renters, but I always send my own cleaners. Mistake was trying out this place. It obviously will take one person a lot longer to clean a whole house instead of two. The guy was nice and I always tip cleaning service people. Still gave him $50, not mad at him.

Very disappointing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We’ve been using Pink Sponge for years. They are always such great listeners, they have helped us on a bind when we requested specialty cleaning in short notice, or just the standard regular upkeep. You have to specify exactly what you want cleaned, but they will get the job done. Lastly, the representatives who answer the phone and correspond via text are incredibly responsive.

Wow! My first cleaning with Pink Sponge was fantastic. Reina did an absolutely wonderful job on my apartment. We'd just moved in, and the floors were incredibly dirty from all the movers, but she took her time and made them spotless. The entire apartment felt so much better after she was done! Beyond the excellent cleaning, their customer service was wonderful from the moment I booked, and they've been super responsive with every communication. Highly recommend Pink Sponge!

Updating my review: My second cleaning with Pink Sponge was today, and I'm just as impressed as the first time! Clarissa did an absolutely wonderful job, paying great attention to detail. I especially appreciated the nice thank you note she left – such a thoughtful touch! I'm truly happy I chose Pink Sponge for my ongoing house cleanings.

Love the convenience of Pink Sponge. They provide all their own cleaning products, towels and equipment. Appreciate the no Lysol or bleach strong odor as they use their own proprietary product which leaves a light minty fragrance. Mirrors, floors, bathrooms & kitchen are my focus & Pink Sponge delivers!

We have been so happy with Pink Sponge and their cleaning services. They always come fully prepared, are ready to take on the bigger challenges, and do everything they can to leave a customer with a clean and happy environment. In particular, Sarah has left us notes and even propped up our cat’s stuffed toys throughout the house which makes us smile as we find them after she’s left.

I hired Pink Sponge for a deep clean of my 1,000 sq ft condo and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.

1. Miscommunication from the Start

I reached out via text and requested a deep clean, including walls, baseboards, and the garage. However, when the cleaner arrived, she was under the impression that only the walls, baseboards, and garage were expected.
Because of this miscommunication, she spent the first 20 minutes on the phone with her office trying to clarify the scope. Eventually, I told her to just start the job, and that if she needed more time, I would be open to adding extra hour.

2. Understaffed and Poor Value

Maybe it's just me, but in my experience, cleaning crews usually come in pairs -- especially when charging by the hour. In this case, only one person was sent, and I was not informed ahead of time. I later learned that if they had sent two people, the price would have doubled -- again, not communicated upfront. Also, that would mean paying almost $600 for a 1000sq ft condo?!

3. Unacceptable Quality of Work

By the 2.5-hour mark, she claimed to have finished cleaning the kitchen, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms, yet none of the rooms were vacuumed or mopped, and many surfaces were still dirty. I'll be uploading photo evidence of the work that was left undone. When I asked she said bedrooms surfaces are not wiped and no vacuum, so in reality at this point she has only half way done with 2 bathrooms and kitchen

What stood out even more was that, during my inspection, I noticed the door frames were untouched, even though I had specifically told her in the beginning that I wanted all doors wiped down. When I pointed it out, she responded (I'm quoting her exact words)-- "I have to be told to clean that." Then she asked, "So do you want me to clean it?" -- it was frustrating that something so basic had to be requested again after I had already stated it.

4. No Resolution from the Office

I reached out to the office with a detailed explanation of what went wrong and sent photos showing the issues. At first, I was told a refund request would be submitted on my behalf. But after a few emails back and forth, they stopped responding entirely -- no follow-up, no accountability, and no resolution.

5. Unprofessional On-Site Experience

The cleaner took a lunch break at 11:30am., just 2.5 hours into a three-hour job that started at 9:00 a.m. I understand that W-2 employees may be required to take breaks, but I was hiring a crew for a project, not managing an employee's shift.
What felt unprofessional was that she left the house for 30 minutes, with all her tools and equipment left scattered throughout, with only 30 minutes of working time left. It disrupted the momentum of the job and didn't reflect the professionalism I expected.

I understand that running a small business is not easy. That's why I didn't post this review right away. I gave the company a chance to resolve it. I explained everything in detail over the phone, provided photos, and was very clear about why I was disappointed.

At the end of the day, all I wanted was a response. If they believe this is the level of service they stand behind and that charging $267 was fair, I accept that -- and I have the right to share my experience publicly.
But if they believe a refund is appropriate based on the actual quality of the work, then they should have taken actions and at least communicated with me.

Pink sponge has been great cleaning my place! Always on time and making sure everything gets done at a timely manner. Love that there's always clear communication and the details in cleaning. I would definitely recommend, especially for their price!
