Oliver, the owner, has been lying about starting the work on upgrading our panel. When asked what is happening he became aggressive and accusatory, kept our deposit and canceled the contract.

Oliver is a fantastic electrician. I'm addition to the work he did on my home, I've also witnessed several other tasks/projects that he's completed and he always does a great job. I have worked with several electricians and Oliver is my preferred choice. He is skillful, yet also crafty. He can handle small jobs, high end jobs, or even something as small as trouble shooting. If you have electrical needs, don't waste your time calling someone else, call Oliver instead!

We've used Positively Electrical regularly due to the speedy service and quality. Our lights were installed into our display case as well as a foot pedal for our door buzzer. The lights have made our display case brighter, clearer, and overall more attractive to the eye. The foot pedal has increased our ability to multitask at the front desk while having our hands free to help patients. We're very happy here with the work we've received and will continue to do business here. Thanks again for your work.

I called positively electric to come fix the fluorescent ceiling light in my office. Oliver came out and did an amazing job he was quick and professional!!!! So happy I have better lighting now! I will definitely use there service again in the future for all my electrical needs.

EDIT 4/23: I have used Positively Electrical and was really quite happy with them (see review below), however, I called them back for a lighting issue. I had some light bulbs that fell apart in a light fixture and I was afraid to remove them on my own because it required a tool to get the metal part of the bulb out of the socket, so I called Positively Electrical. Wow oh wow, the bill amount for a 10 minute "remove and replace the bulbs" was outrageous. They charged me for an electrician AND an assistant for a full hour, as well as other services that were not even done. I feel ripped off and pretty disappointed in this company. I will not be using them again, nor do I recommend them anymore.

Mike came out a couple of weeks ago to assess our circuit breaker panel issue which needed some replacement breakers. He took his time to explain everything about the panel and showed us how he would replace the circuit breakers, and we learned a lot. Unfortunately, the type of breakers that we needed were not available in the Santa Barbara area. I was able to find the breakers in another city and rescheduled our service with Mike. He came back and installed the new breakers and everything works great. Highly recommend!

Danny and Josh were on time and on top of things. We upgraded our electrical panel so that we could add an electric car charger to our detached garage. They coordinated with the power company and got the job done. I’m very pleased with how the whole process went.

Pos. Electric is 5 star and more. Their communication in advance of the work was superb. Their followup on checking on the status of the repair was greatly appreciated.

After texting two electricians in Santa Barbara and not receiving a call back, I was happy to receive a quick response from Oliver the same day I called. He sent two electricians the following week. The job was perfect and went smoothly. His electricians were very capable and the job went fast. Oliver came later and checked their work. Oliver is reasonable too. I used them again to change out 3 ceiling lamps in a home built in 1928. Great job again. Very happy with the results and pricing.

Oliver and his team were highly professional and skilled. We had to move the main panel to the other side of the house, no sweat!

I like using Positively electric because they are technically advanced in scheduling and contact information. They show up on time and if they’re delayed, they let me know.. Very well organized.

Needed a last-minute project completed, contacted Positively Electrical and they were able to fit me in the following morning. They came in under-budget and significantly faster than the estimate - and Cody on the team was fantastic.

Beyond simply doing the work, he brought to our attention an underlying issue that he fixed as well!
