I very highly recommend this family-owned business. They are quick to respond, quote and schedule work to be done. They are professional, courteous, mindful of the tree's health, great clean up and customer satisfaction. I give them six stars!

Can't say how wonderful it felt to hand over a payment for a job and feel absolutely well-served. Prompt with a great crew who all knew what their jobs were and did them well. Great cleanup and nothing damaged. Fabulously competitive and they had the best price by a wide margin.

Chris and his crew are cutting down a big , healthy oak tree on our street right now
And when the neighborhood calls to ask him if these trees are protected he just hangs up the phone..very , very rude.
They are destroying our wildlife and beauty that we have lived with forever in order to make money
He is destroying our street and natural ecosystem
These trees are necessary for food and wildlife and preventing climate change
And he is also destroying/killing all the bird's nests
The fact that he wont even speak to us reveals the truth behind this atrocity
Chris will chop down the biggest , most beautiful tree in your neighborhood , that hundreds of animals and humans love so he can make money, there is no caring in SB Tree Care. He committed a crime as these trees are legally protected.

There workers are very rude and sloppy. Working on a neighbors house but they have left materials and tree branches in our yard

I give Chris and his boy a "brown star' rating pretty much tag teamed each other on site, left a good streak in the driveway.

Parked car for an hour. SB Tree Care set up their chipper right next to it, close enough I could barely open the driver door, and coated the car with sawdust, and far worse, with sap. Multiple passes are the car wash did not get it off. So if you'd like to ruin the paint jobs on your cars, maybe replace your front windows, and have your house coated in sticky sap, these are the guys for you.

Very pleased- called on a Monday for a tree removal, they came that day for a quote that was cheaper than competition, and they came back Tuesday to cut down the tree and Wednesday to grind. Quick response, good work, and very easy to work with.

So called professionals really butchered my trees. They were supposed to trim 2 overgrown mulberry trees in the back yard and to make sure the trees are off the house. They cut the one third of the trees facing the house, but didn't even touch the other two thirds. Never will recommend or call them again, unless they come back and fix it. I will say the other trees they trimmed were fine. One star is generous.

Chris and his crew are amazing. They took down a huge Oak that had died on our property, in one day and left everything in pristine condition. The tree was surrounded by a flag stone patio, and when the job was done you would never know it had been removed. Highly recommended. Thanks again Chris!

We have used SB Tree Care twice. They were great and their prices are very competitive. We had them cut back both a large tree and a palm. They were quick and left no trace of a mess. I recommend them without hesitation.

The owners came and gave estimate within 30 minutes of my calling. Scheduled my tree service in a very reasonable time at a very reasonable price. Crew showed up promptly, confirmed their plan with me and cleaned the area completely before leaving. I couldn't be happier.

SB tree started cutting my tree without consent at 8:30AM in the morning. My neighbor hired them with out discussion. When I confronted SB Tree, they would not stop. I called the SB Tree owner Chris and he did not return my call. Finally the workers stopped when we got angry and called the police. Chris later showed up and was completely defiant and argumentative. We let them know that they needed to co-ordinate with the property owners and lease holders before proceeding. The response from a SB tree employee: 'they can cut anything that over hangs the property line'. Not true. Fortunately, a Santa Barbara County arborist was present explaining that they cannot cut anything that over hangs the property line, it could damage the tree, they have to be careful to not damage the tree. With the arborist present, SB Tree states "we will only cut what is touching the house, we will only 'lift' the tree". We agreed. They proceed to lift as explained, then an hour later, they start lacing the interior of the tree. Not what was agreed to. I strongly recommend that you do not use this SB Tree Care, they are not cooperative and they did not honor their agreement.

We had a great experience with SB Tree Care, they came on time to the initial appointment, gave us a price quote that they held true to at the end. On service day, they were on time, very accommodating for my daughter's nap schedule and did an excellent job! We will certainly have them back for continued tree care.

I found SB Tree Care to be excellent. Great price, on-time, and very professional service. I'm a contractor myself, and the first thing I noticed is the quality of their equipment. They showed up exactly when they said they would and the guys worked hard on my acre for a day and a half. I had them either trim or remove palms, oaks, peppers, pines, and hedges.
They cleaned up after themselves and left the place looking great. I'd use them again no question about it.

Let me start by saying this, I Don't normally write reviews, but felt compelled to do so for Chris and the guys at SB Tree Care. I had 3 100' plus foot eucalyptus that needed to be removed in a tight area. These guys were professional, timely, organized and very fair priced. I would absolutely used them again and encourage anyone to reach out to them, you will be impressed and thankful you did.
