We could not have made a better choice than YFR Tree & Land Management for clearing our property of a Scotch Broom infestation and some dead-and-down large woody debris which represented a major fire hazard.

Matt and his crew are such a pleasure to work with. We live on three flat, forested acres purchased in 2019, and they’ve been an integral part of our stewardship of it over the last 6 years.

We’ve had YFR up many times. We interviewed lots of arborists/tree services, and his vibe and approach immediately resonated with ours — they were clearly the best choice for us. Their initial help to clear and masticate decades of overgrowth on the entire property really opened up our little forest. They’ve returned many times since to fell trees, clear brush, and reassess along the way, and we’ve slowly shaped the land to suit our needs while ensuring the land is healthy and thriving.

What’s been great about our ongoing relationship with YFR is Matt’s guidance on longterm maintenance. He’s helped us prioritize our efforts, and always finds creative ways to stay within our budget for each project. He and his crew are always professional, friendly, and clearly skilled at their respective roles, and they always go above and beyond what’s expected. I’m always impressed by their efficiency and precision, especially the last tree they fell right next to our house: it landed safely within a few feet of the buildings it was near!

The team was great! They are hard working, conscientious, and really talented at what they do. They're also very kind, answered our various questions, explained things... all around great guys and interesting for us to watch them tackle some of the bigger trees. **FIVE STARS ISN’t enough*** From beginning to end my experience was above exceptional. The attention to detail made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Matt settled all my fears during the work, while Jenn helped to guide me from start to finish. Blake had a focus on safety, while their equipment technology kept the job quiet and carefree. They even took the time to make sure my animals were safe and happy. It is too bad I don't have any other trees left that need maintenance, because I miss this local family owned, professional Yuba Forest Restoration team. I truly didn’t know that my large timber project could be this easy. Highly recommend.

All Phase Land Clearing recently thinned/logged our 5 acre property for fire safety. Troy and Ryan and their hard-working team were great to work with...always on time, professional and courteous.
Our clean-up and clearing included masticating and chipping which was well worth the added expense. Their attention to detail and response to our special requests is an example of their desire for customer

FANTASTIC!! Hired All Phase to clear away all the ladder fuels in a heavily overgrown 1/2 acre on the downhill side of my property. The crew and masticator cleared out all the brush, manzanita and saplings in addition to removing lower branches and dozens of large overhanging tree limbs that were a casualty of recent big winter. The crew was very communicative and professional and had the job done in just a few short hours. We have recommended them to several members of our family plus friends and neighbors that have seen the fire safety improvements. These guys know exactly what to do!

Edit: This is a more recent review to the one below: This review is for the second job they did for us. The property in question was difficult in the access. The lot, almost and acre, is on a busy street close to Nevada City and many large vehicles/equipment was necessary and we had to get permission from a neighbor to use his driveway, and he graciously allowed them to park the logging truck there for several trips over many days. I knew I could rely on Troy and his crew do do an outstanding job and I was right!

All Phase Land Clearing did an outstanding job on our property. They were here two days working on trimming and removing trees. They were very thorough and did more than I expected. Our property was left looking like a park when they were done. I was impressed with the large equipment that was brought in, and the job was completed to our utmost satisfaction. The owner explained everything that was to be done and had some great suggestions. You cannot go wrong with All Phase Land Clearing and we are having them work on another piece of property we own and that job will be a LOT more labor and time intensive, but we are confident that we will be just as pleased as we were at the initial job!

There's two things I really liked about working with All Phase: first, Troy is a great guy to work with, honest, straightforward, friendly, and reliable. Second, they have the right equipment for the job. We had a huge, old, oak tree and they were able to remove everything within about 3 or 4 hours. And they were less expensive than the other estimate that I got.

Last week All Phase Land Clearing, inc. did a fantastic job clearing the back of my property. All the dead brush removed, trees limbed up, and the debris turned into mulch. My property now looks like a park. Besides being much more "fire safe", my property has been transformed! Everyone was easy to work with, the price was reasonable and the crew worked steadily. All Phase completed the work (thinning forest for increasing defensible space) as planed and within the time quoted. On site crew as highly skilled and coordinated. They were a pleasure to work with and respectful of the land. Having worked with a few different contractors over the last years, All Phase exceeded my expectations where the others did not!

We hired All Phase to clear a couple of acres covered with blackberries, poison oak, wild cherry, ivy, wisteria, and more. We also needed nine tall, dead standing cedars and two huge dying madrones cut down and stacked, plus trimming of mature oak, olive, and cedar trees. They finished the work ahead of schedule, on-budget, and left the grounds looking like a well-maintained park. Troy, the owner, was great to work with and the large crew was very professional and experienced. I would definitely hire All Phase again.
