Richard was amazing. With a couple drainage problems and a leak coming from the floor, he arrived quickly and included us in his thought process to figure out what issues may be. He was very patient, knowledgable, and made sure the main issues were fixed before he left. He was such a great worker and in the end, offered us an excellent price for his services. I would most definitely recommend him with the highest praises!

I had my water line broken at a place that's hard to reach. Richard responded quickly to my call. He crawled under the mobile home and did a fantastic job replacing the pipe. He helped me with a gas leakage, too. He is very patient to ask all my questions after the repair, and came my home again to help me resolve water pressure issue. He has great skills and provide great customer service. Hire him to repair! You won't regret.

AMAZING!! Super Professional I call him around 10:30 pm after googling trying like 3 different ones that never answered or care.
Well he showed up at noon exact time that he anticipated and did he’s magic fixed 2 toilets 2 super old valves 1 shower and more.

Been my go-to for almost a decade. Richard has come out for every issue and he always explains what's happening and even teaches me how to troubleshoot and solve some of the issues on my own. If I've ever been in an emergency situation, he's quick to respond and his prices are always reasonable - especially given that I've never had to call him out to do the same job twice. When it was time to inspect my new home, there was no doubt who I'd be calling.

What we thought was a clogged drain turned out to be so much more and a very tricky situation that we didn't know how would be resolved. Richard persevered and explained everything and is the ultimate pro at a reasonable price. I have found my plumber for life.

Let me begin by saying that this is not the 1st or 2nd time we have scheduled & used Richard with RHS Plumbing. Above that, they have been for three very different... and quite difficult services (two indoor, one major outdoor repair). He arrived promptly, kept us informed on the progress, was respectful of us, our property and even our dog! Old school work ethic & won't rest until each of our repairs were fixed to OUR satisfaction! In closing, he will be our first call should we ever need a plumber again!

I hired him to perform a standard service and he delivered. Furthermore, I have requested him to perform other repairs & services within the premises. I highly recommend RHS, ask for Richard.

Richard's services are excellent. From my experience, he responds very promptly, he's very courteous, and he is transparent about his thoughts on the work to be done, and progress on the work while he's doing it. What more, price was significantly lower (over 20% lower) then the three other estimates I gathered. To me it seemed like the other plumbers were trying to upsell other work to be done, while Richard maintained focus on what NEEDED to be done, and nothing more.
He did a fantastic job and I have absolutely no issues with the work that was done. He even had to dig underneath rocks in my front yard, and he was careful to place everything back exactly the way that it was. In fact, it looked better than it did before! I have already recommended him to others, and he will be my first call in the future!

On 3/18/25 Richard and his companion installed my water softener with an outside electrical outlet and under the sink water filter. I am very pleased with his work because 1) He pays attention to detail 2) Explains his work clearly 3) Uses quality pipes/ fittings (so far no leaks/issues 4) Easy to talk to and listens. had a severe back up in the kitchen and I tried everything my amateur skills could do to fix it, didnt work. I had only one day and called RHS plumbing. Richard picked up, asked detailed questions over the phone, gave me a time estimate of when he'd come, and came over same day. He did an assessment, explained and educated me on the problem, then began fixing it, showing me along the way what he was doing. But he didnt stop there. He wanted to make sure the build up and sludge wouldn't cause the same problem soon so he took out the big guns. tested it thoroughly, double and triple checked everything was good before he packed up. Price was honest, personality and approach was great, and and service was fanstastic. He doesnt know it yet, but we found a new plumber, and he'll be the first I call when there's a problem beyond my scope. It was the luck of the draw that I found him. Thanks RHS for the great service. I learned a handful of things today.

Richard Ortega is super professional, super friendly and courteous, honest, knowledgeable, and very reasonable in his pricing. In the past few years he has done work for us twice at our home in Hacienda Heights. Problems resolved 100% both times. We highly recommend you contact him for any plumbing issues. Had a main line back about every 3 months always had a plumber come out here and unclog it but never had a plumber put a camera inspect my whole sewer system Steven gave me plenty of options and was very professional.

These guys are definitely a reliable and professional plumbing business! Haven’t experienced too many plumbing issues in my time but when my septic tank was clogged they really made me feel like I was their top priority and by far most affordable with the quickest response time.
