Carlos is the best, honest and helpful contractor you will find. He doesn’t cut corners, he does everything to code and will give his honest and professional opinion! I keep hearing horror stories from friends and coworkers about how their contractor scammed them or ditched the job and i have the complete opposite contractor! If you need a hardworking and honest person reach out to Carlos!!

Carlos's knowledge goes beyond the cosmetic, which has saved thousands in the long run. We had ongoing issues with the same bathroom in our house. We had gone through several repairs of our tile and shower with other contractors over the years, and it was an ongoing issue. We hired Carlos to fix the tile, but upon closer inspection, he noticed there was evidence of wood rot, and upon inspecting the crawl space, he noticed the ultimate culprit was a broken support beam underneath the house. He took the time to show us evidence of the underlying issues and provide photo/video evidence of what the other contractors had missed. He fixed the damaged wood and support beam, replaced the tile, and fixed our shower door, and we haven't had a problem since. Additional items:

- He noticed there was an unually moist spot in our soil, and fixed the casue, a broken sewer line.
- Located a crack in the foundation, and it was not properly anchored to the ground, he fixed this.
- Noticed termite droppings under our rear stairs, replaced rotted wood, and we had pest control spray.

He did such a great job, we hired him for our 2nd bathroom, to install a high-tech toilet/bidet, dual sink vanity and a fancy selfie-friendly mirror. Could not recommend Carlos enough!

Contacted this business for a garage conversion 3 different times and they told me a contractor would reach out to come out and inspect job site. Never got a call back the day someone was scheduled to come out. I'll take my business to another contractor.

We hired them to do a garage conversion. the office staff is very helpful and knowledgable. the contractor is very active at the job throughout the process. they also have an architect that works for them which saved us alot of time. i would give them a 5 star rating any day.

i am an investor and i have several properties that are now under construction for the adu build. i used them for 1 ADU and everything went so smoothly that they are now working at 2 other properties. these guys really know their material and how to handle the city. very glad i found them and im excited to continue working with them from now on.

While I’m unsure about ADU Contractor Hawthorne & Garage Conversion at first, since it’ll be my first time trying them out of the recommendation of my colleague, I could say they impressed me in the end. They helped me build my plans and execute an ADU Garage conversion effortlessly and followed every detail I instructed. I would highly highly recommend these people! Was almost run over by one of their employees, while I was on a crosswalk having green , but on the phone , fully aware of my surroundings! That’s why I noticed that foul mouthed jerk in his company Prius on Pico cussing me out ! Great representation of your company! That guy needs some training , on how to act in public while working for you guys ! And the phone number was on his car too 😂
