Contractor reviews in Hayward, California

JDM has gone above and beyond to make sure we get what we want. We describe our vision and JDM delivers. Thank you.

Got a cabinet from JDM for my small little kitchen and it make my kitchen look so much bigger and complete. The process with JDM was very smooth. We worked with Jose himself and he was so easy going, polite, nice and very professional. Going to work with JDM Construction and Design for my homes future projects! Thank you JDM Construction and Design!

We had an incredible experience working with JDM Construction and Design. Our home was completely renovated with the help of Jose and his team. We recommend JDM Construction to all our friends and family because we know they will be in good hands and receive the best quality work.

JDM Construction & Design has consistently been our first choice for projects. Contracted them for a small one-window replacement and a complete home interior renovation; they delivered quality work each time. The crew is professional, and Jose is super knowledgeable. Whenever I had questions or concerns he always provided timely solutions. Highly recommend JDM to anyone looking for quality work.

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!! They are rude and unreliable

Love AC Construction . I have used their services again, and like always I had 100% satisfaction in the work they've done. Thank you so much for the new look of the house. You're the best in business..

Thank you Aurel for the great work you did for my bathroom remodel, kitchen remodel and flooring!
My project's whole process was extremely nice and smooth, from getting the quote to getting the job done!I can't be more satisfied with the work and the experience!
I highly recommend this company!

I've worked with AC-Construction couple of years back and their service was unmatchable. Not to long ago, I've reached out again as I needed their services and as expected, Aurel has promptly reached out and although we are living in unprecedented times, he was very prompt and professional. The team did a fantastic job remodeling our bathroom, replacing our crown molding in a few rooms and a paint job. To add to this, all covid-19 safety measures were taken in consideration. I am very grateful of their service, pricing model and professionalism.

DO NOT HIRE FOR LARGE PROJECTS. We worked with Aurel for over a year. In that time we were not able to complete most tasks. Trash was left in front of our house for months; even when we would complain it still wouldn't get cleaned up. We finally canceled our contracts after numerous attempts to get permits were denied not because the county wouldn't approve but because he was not detailed enough to submit things right the first, second, third, 4th etc times. when changes were required he would not follow up to do them. He would blame the county for doing things by the book. He would also charge us for reprinting and resubmitting permit drawings even though they were his issue to fix and should have been done right the first time.

Project #2: We hired AC Construction for a second project. This time Aurel remodeled our commercial office space. He is well-versed in all aspects of construction with very fair pricing and timely delivery. We are very pleased and HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Project #1: Aurel is a true professional. He has years of experience and is excellent at providing timely quotes and fair pricing. He has the ability to anticipate problems and plan for how to handle issues as they arise. His team of craftsmen, including John, take pride in their work. Aurel is a very clear communicator and manages each job with an eye to detail. He always goes the extra mile to make things perfect. This hall bath was original to the house. We are so happy with the work of his team. We will be doing more projects with him.

Thank you so much Aurel for the amazing work you did on my home! I have standards and he did a perfect perfect remodeling job on my home. All my friends are impressed and I love my new home. From design to instalation, kitchen, guest bathroom and basement, electric, plumbing and framing, I knew instantly that is the right company, professional, knowledgeable and felt like Aurel had everything under control and well managed. The quality of work is amazing, we love our new kitchen and bathroom. I definitely will consider working with him again on a future project.
Many thanks AC Construction

I honestly can’t recommend AC Construction enough. Aurel and his team just finished painting my entire apartment and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I’ll be the first to admit I wasn’t the easiest client—I was pretty undecided on the colors and actually changed my mind after they had already started working. I expected some pushback or at least a delay, but Aurel handled my indecisiveness with grace. The team just made the changes immediately and kept the project moving.

They also handled several other adjustments and touch-ups I requested along the way with total professionalism. If you want a crew that is flexible, fast, and actually cares about the finer details, these are your guys. 10/10.

Huge shoutout to AC Construction! A buddy of mine recommended them after their kitchen turned out great, and I’m so glad I listened. We just wrapped up a full bathroom remodel, and I’m obsessed with how it looks.
What I appreciated most was how they handled the small stuff. It’s the little details—like the way the grout lines up and how solid the hardware feels—that really show they know what they’re doing. The final finish is super clean and high-end; you can tell they didn’t cut any corners.
The guys were chill, easy to talk to, and actually kept the dust to a minimum, which was a lifesaver since we were living through the construction. Seriously happy with the result. If you’re thinking about a remodel, these are your guys!

Aurel and his team did an incredible job with a few projects at my house. They were by far the most honest, competent and punctual contractors I dealt with through the project. They rebuilt my fence, built a new deck and did plenty of touch ups and installations inside the house. Everything they did was well thought out, thoroughly discussed and performed exactly the way I asked. They also went out of their way to make sure that everything they touch is built to be stable and secure. Thank you.

I recently hired AC Construction for an electrical job and a panel upgrade, and I can’t recommend them enough. The owner, Aurel, is a true professional; he was incredibly flexible with the cost and ensured everything was finished exactly on time.
What really impressed me was their expertise; Aurel caught a minor but hazardous wiring error from a previous owner that I hadn't noticed and fixed it on the spot. The team was efficient, respectful, and left the house spotless. If you want high-quality work and an honest contractor, this is the team to call!

buen servicio

takes forever to get assistance

They do great work

ok. home depot. emlopyees run and hid

Good

We wanted to get a new carpet in our bed room so we ordered one here. It took about a week for the measuring guy to come out. Fine.

After about another week, the contractors for the floor installation called and we scheduled the floor installation. Awesome. It was for two weeks later, which is less awesome but the home Depot people said to expect as much. The contractors gave us a date but told us the time would be scheduled the day before. Gave us the preinstallation info, asked questions about the relative safety of the job site and that was that.

Three days before the installation I found a voicemail on my phone after I got off from work. That's funny, I thought, they weren't supposed to call until the day before the installation. I called them back and asked about my appointment and they told me I didn't have one. Not fine.

I told them I had a confirmation email from them I could send back but the lady cut me off and said I didn't have an appointment. Not awesome.

Next available appointment is nearly a month later.

Its relatively cheap as far as floor installations go though, so they've got that going for them.
