Had them install a new electrical panel and overall it was a really good experience. Pricing came in fair compared to a couple other quotes I got, and they stuck to it... no surprises.
Work itself looks solid. Everything is clean and organized, not sloppy, and you can tell they know what they’re doing.
What I appreciated most was they didn’t just do the job and leave. They pointed out a few other things around the house, explained what actually matters vs what doesn’t, and didn’t try to push extra work. That’s pretty rare.
Would definitely use them again.

Makes them beg.. the worst part is that he makes his employees cut corners and hates to pull permits

You ve been worn about steve he is a true con man.

Ask him for workers comp and make sure anyone that shows up to your house is under his insurance or you the home owner will be responsible. For all Accidents and damages done to your property doesn’t have any employees and hires people daily from craigslist to do your work beware of him

The ONLY person that actually answered the phone! Steve went out of the way to squeeze my job in. (He had a lot of work) He promptly sent out a person (Juan) . Extremely knowledgeable and got the job done right away. We were approaching the weekend so we were grateful. He is a second generation electrician and knows the value good work.

I called and actually talked to someone. As soon as Mike was finished with the job he was on he called me and stopped by at the end of the day. He converted a recessed light over my sink to a pendent light. Replaced the old fluorescent lights in kitchen with newer/nicer light and fixed the GFCI plug in one of the bathrooms. WOW I'm impressed- very responsive, fabulous work and fair price.
I would recommend them to anyone! Great job guys!

Just met Steve the owner of Coastline Electric who personally responded to a rather serious electrical panel problem I have with my 50 year old condo unit. He showed up in just a few hours, with a immediate solution for free, as he evaluated a long term solution for me. In short my service panel needs to be replaced because the original panel from 1964 is dangerous judging with today's higher standards (I'm an electrical engineer so I already knew that from previous concerns with this panel). Not only did he give me a quick response and fix to my immediate problem for free, he gave me a solid long term solution (replacing the service panel with a modern and safe panel) at a competitive price and installed within a week. I'm very impressed with the swift, immediate response and solid solutions to my needs Steve is giving me. I'm also very relieved my "fire hazard" will be gone before the end of next week. Thank you Steve and Coastline Electric for taking care of me and my fire hazard.
PS I bet many residents in HB and FV residing in hoses built in the 60's are living with the same problem but ignorant to the great fire hazard. They should call you too.

Awesome company, outstanding service!!!!

I recently hired Coastline to install some lighting features, mount and why are a few flatscreen TVs, and replace an upgrade my fuse box.

My home is older and going through renovation and there were a lot of obstacles to getting this work done including working around other contractors. They handled scheduling issues that arose with the upmost professionalism if you’re looking for a great company to work with, I would highly suggest these guys.

I had a hard to find switch for an awning that needed to be replaced and Steve personally found this which and made sure it was installed properly several weeks after final payment was made for the work.

During the process of renovation, an emergency issue came up, and Steve responded within an hour and had his guy Juan at my house within thirty minutes to fix the issue.

The best part about working with Coastline is they stand behind and guarantee the work they do and will do everything they can to ensure work is done properly and you’re completely satisfied. That is extremely rare these days.

They offered extremely reasonable pricing compared to the local competitors in Huntington Beach and they never left me feeling frustrated like so many other contractors I’ve worked with previously.

I have used Red Line Electric several times over the past few years and have always been impressed by the professionalism and quality of the work. They arrive on time, are very organized and make sure they clean up afterwards. Will use them for all my future electrical work!

A perfect "10". Dan sent Danial over to install a chandelier in the dining room, replace a dimmer and change out some miscellaneous halogen bulbs … and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. We will definitely go with Redline and request Danial for all of or future electrical projects.

Yesterday, our lights began flickering, appliances went to error messages and furnace/heater stopped working. This morning I called 4 local electricians based on their 5 Star Google and Yelp ratings. Dan, the owner replied within 15 minutes of my message. Since he is located in HB, he was able to go to my home and was there within the hour. My wife said Dan was so pleasant, nice, knowledgeable and professional. He diagnosed our electrical issue and found that everything internal within our home was working properly and stated the issue could be with SCE. He called Edison for us, informed them of the issue and set up a service call for us in 3-5 days. THIS IS GREAT SERVICE! Do you know how long it would have taken us to call Edison and stay on hold to request a service call. Been there, done that. Dan also informed us that we can get reimbursed by SCE for his invoice and the HVAC invoice, if the issue turns out to be related to Edison (which it probably will be) which we plan on filing a claim later after Edison fixes the issue.

Regarding the furnace/heater, the transformer in our furnace was damaged due to the power surge issue. He called his HVAC contact and made an appointment for later today to get this repaired. Coincidently his HVAC contact is our HVAC company that we use, Shawn Lambert (see my review on Shawn Lambert HVAC). Great companies associate themselves with great companies.

Thank you Dan for your prompt and timely service today. We will be referring you to our friends, co-workers and family for their electrical needs and you will now be our primary electrician.
